Once again I find myself here to write an update about this business. I had moved on from my…read moreterrible experience and got a notification that this business responded to my rating and review. I believe they are not pleased with my review that they felt they had to defend themselves. Let me tell you that my experience was so upsetting that I made a consumer complaint with the state of Texas attorney general. The doctor, who by the way was never present during this ordeal, first says on my review response that they are sorry I had a bad experience because that is unheard of of their business. Other review websites say otherwise. Then, right after their "sorry" I was told that I was "belligerent" and "hostile" they could no longer provide services. Well, first of all they NEVER provided any type of services. I was not belligerent and hostile, I was APPALLED by the customer service worker, I believe she was the insurance clerk. Her years of experience are worthless if she continues to speak to customers the way she spoke to me. I realize that the employee probably did not want to get in trouble, but she knew what she was doing. This terrible experience first happened over the phone. If I had been so inappropriate like they said I would not have presented myself at that business and I would NOT be commenting here. I wanted to speak to the manager in person and went in a calm manner. I advised the rude employee that I was on my way to speak with the manager. Once I get there, the rude employee had called the cops. Shame on this business for using the police department for something like this. It shows how little regard they show for those in uniform. This business treated them like security guards. Never did I threatened anybody or even yelled at anybody to begin with. The police clearly saw that. Shame on this business for treating potential clients like this. This employee with "experience" felt threatened she was going to be exposed with her bad behavior. I have my profession and I would never jeopardize my career and future for something meaningless. I hope this eye doctor reads this review because you are speaking for that employee that was rude and disrespectful and I hope she learns a lesson about customer service and know that she represents your business. If she thinks she did nothing wrong well shame on her because she did. This employee also said that unless I was going to give you my business than there was no point in me going to complain. She said the doctor said this. So here I am not giving you my business and complaining because of your business's lack of many things. Being condescending, leaving me on hold for more than 10 minutes and then hanging up on me, giving false names and information are just SOME of the unpleasant things I experienced with the SAME person. You seriously need a manager because I was unable to speak with another person about this ordeal. Writing this HERE shows the lack of management in this business. Just to take the time to write this long review shows how awful this experience was. Never would I recommend this business. As for the response to my other review for this business, it clearly shows how blessed I was in finding ANOTHER eye care center that does not have to defend their business because their business and customer care etiquette speak for itself. It was a more pleasant experience.
