Prices and quality are fine. Staff is fine too. However, the pickup process is horrible. Adjustments are rushed as many are in line behind you making it very difficult to spend the time you need to be sure glasses are adjusted comfortably. Strongly suggest company does something to make the pickup process better. Older people like myself don't handle standing in line for 30 or more minutes very well. My suggestion would be to have 2 lines and also send anyone needing an adjustment to a table to sit down for this service, allowing the line to move faster. Those not needing adjustments could move through the line and leave quicker. I don't think it's a lack of people, as I noticed at least 2-3 associates tidying up your showroom and replacing frames that had been left out , etc. if these employees could help man the pick up counter and do their showroom duties during slow times, that would seem more customer friendly. The turnaround time for glasses is second to none, but the pick up process will probably make me go elsewhere if I have the time to wait a few days for my glasses to be made. read more

I flew into Lubbock yesterday and realized that I left my glasses at home. I was so nervous because I had to drive and knew that I needed to find a place that would make them in a day. Visionmart Express came up and it was close to my hotel. When I walked in and was greeted by Robbie he was so welcoming. Professional, kind and understanding from start to finish. Been in Nov. 25 for nose piece repair, took five minutes. In Dec sat on a pair of glasses I had bought 3 years before and they still had the same frames! Bought the frames and the repair lady popped my 2 lens in within 10 minutes and I was out the door. Frames were 150. very reasonable and I did not have to go to get a new prescription or new frames. They have not made the lens right on my last two prescriptions. Each time they assured me it was right and said wear them for a couple days. Both times I had to take them to my eye doctor for him to check. He verified they were wrong. Both times I told them I could see better without the lens than with the lens. I hope they correct the problem as I am really aggravated about the ineptness of the lab. read more

We normally go to another business for this type of service, however, our son was here from out of town and we needed glasses right away. We were able to get his eye exam from the affiliated business next door and got his glasses from Visionmart. The people who provided the eye exam were super nice and knowledgeable and it did not take long, despite the fact that they only take walk-ins. Jessica at Visionmart was incredibly nice and gave us so many options. The price was great and our son had his glasses in about an hour. Would definitely recommend these businesses! The doctor side where you get exams is not very professional when ur cones to special needs kids. My daughter is autistic and had a hard time keeping the mask on. We were told in a very rude manor that we needed to leave if she can't keep it on. So we decided to leave. It was embarrassing for me and humiliating. They really need to work on their attitudes towards customers. Without customers they gave no job! read more

Had a fall and bent my glasses way out of whack. Couldn't remember where I had bought them, but knew I had had my eyes checked at the adjoining vision clinic. Staff is nice, but they don't have enough of them. The wait time is well over an hour just to be seen to order glasses.

I would give them a zero stars if that was an option. They try and up sell you to one of their promotions and give you a certain price- which is way higher than what the insurance company says you are responsible for. Basically they rip you off and say you added warranty and that you got frames that didn't go with the promotion and so on. Do not go here, unless you want to get ripped off. read more

I went here and I had to pay over $200 just for one pair of glasses and I was supposed to get two pairs but that stupid lady didn't lesson and now I'm pissed cause they wouldn't compensate for it cause they didn't lesson to me. First off Vision Mart Express holds up to its name. I needed to get my 9 yr old daughter in to have her vision reexamined and I didn't have time to call and set an appointment. Vision Mart was recommended to us by a family member. The staff was very pleasant and we were greeted as we walked in the door. The staff tended to my daughter and explained the test before they were preformed. Dr. Smith was wonderful and also made my daughter fell important. Most places ignore the child and only speak to the parents. Dr. Smith took his time and confirmed what I suspected. Her previous prescription was incorrect. I took her somewhere else before and will not go there again. No need to mention where. We then went next door and Cody helped her find a pair of glasses to her fit and style and also a pair of prescribed sun glasses. Insurance did not cover the sunglasses. Due to the excellent customer service and all the information about the warranties I purchased the sunglasses for her as well. If you have a very athletic active child like mine I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the extended warranties they offer. Both of her glass were ready within the hour. Thank you for all your help!! read more

I am not sure about price since I did not shop around and cannot say a bad comment on the people working there as I was not met with hostility or rudeness. I will say that their set-up lacks proficiency. I do not recommend this place if you are short on time or do not have an hour to spend every time you walk in that door. The simple fact that there is always a long wait. The service counter (Adjustment counter) where you pick up or ask for adjustments will always take approximately an hour. I find it ridiculous that I received a text message says that my glasses were done in 15 minutes yet it takes me an hour of waiting in line to pickup said glasses. Today, I literally waited at the "adjustment counter" for 28 minutes (where you pick up your glasses) and not counting the long wait line (I did not keep count of that time). The reason was that the only lady working the counter took phone call after phone call helping those that called in, while those of us that where there ready to pick up glasses waited on her. I think there should be at least a second person there to ease that ladies work load and reduce the waiting line. if it is not possible to place a second person there then they should not be answering their phone line when its that busy and no it is not " a great day here at VisionMart" as you are forced to wait for over an hour just to pick up your glasses that you already payed for. read more

We had such a nice experience here. After going next door for a walk in eye appointment, we went into Vision Mart for our glasses and were out the door within an hour. With the glasses we chose, we were told it would be 2 weeks for pickup. But 1 week later we are on our way to get them. Everyone here was friendly and respectful of our decisions and time spent there. They were BUSY, but spent the amount of time needed with us and very open about the prices and options. I bought glasses from here and had to wait 7 - 10 days since I wanted the blue blocker lenses. I understand that, picked up my glasses and didn't use them for a while, when I went to use them the frame broke. Not even one days usage. Took them back and they told me that was unusual for that frame (Close to $100). Picked out another frame but since it was not the same style was going to have to wait for the blue blocker lenses to come in. They let me keep my broken glasses temporally (I needed them for a follow up with my conjuntival cancer / vision test at MD Anderson) and I could trade them in when I got my new glasses. As we were headed to Houston, I got a message that my glasses were ready. Went to pick these up 2 days later and there was a very noticable crack in one lens. How could that even leave the technician? Well here I was again, having to wait for the new lenses to come in and today I went by to pick up my new glasses. I wanted to keep my old glasses and the new ones since I had to visit the store on 3 different occasions but they refused. I will shop elsewhere. Would not recommend to anyone.
