Caremn Ave building, many improvements have been made; double pain metal windows keeping Winter winds out; CFl light bulbs in common areas, added locked storage rooms. on the downside, some of the 'in house' maintenance people are over zealous in removing news papers but slovenly with their own cigarette butts. . read more

I have to agree with the other five star raters. Eitan was a great landlord. You could call him, text him or write him anytime and he would great right back to you if he didn't answer. One time I mailed my rent and sent a small list of repairs that were needed including tiles and painting that needed done in the bathroom and a new screen door that I wanted on the back porch. In addition, the wall in one of the bedrooms needed to be redone. Within the week, I walked in the door of my 911 West Carmen apartment and everything was fixed. Then, one time I was running late on my rent due to the death of my grandfather and he showed true empathy for my situation. He told me to take all the time I needed. Do not, I repeat, do not rent from this man, or his company Visonary Real Estate! He "manages" buildings in the Uptown area, rented through Apartment People. He is sometimes listed as the owner, although actual ownership is debatable. Simply put his buildings are roach ridden, poorly managed, and maintained. Common areas are not cleaned for months (although one on W Carmen has some painting done in the lobby). Coresh himself is little more than a slum landlord interested in only collecting rents. read more

Eitan is an AWESOME landlord! Only if Yelp would allow 10 stars. He is very nice and understanding. He is a man of his word. VERY VERY reliable. Very convenient with contacts (i.e. email, phone, text, etc.) Of the 3 years being his tenant, I have never had a problem with him. He's always out to make his tenant comfy and happy. Whether he is in town or out he always returns my calls/emails/texts. Very immediate reaction when needed. Not like most landlords, you'd have to wait 3+ days to get a response. If you have any special requests, he will try his best to make it happen. He is very prompt to needed repairs (if any). If you ever run into problems, he is very understanding. All you have to do is talk to him. He is very respectful. I highly recommend him. We need more landlords in this area as responsive and respectful as him. Need I say more? read more

My roommate and I were having so much trouble trying to find an apartment on our own. So we decided that working with a broker would help us find an apartment much quicker. We talked to someone at Visionary and wanted to work with them. At first things seemed to go well and we were being contacted by our broker on a daily basis. We had set up some showings and finally found one we liked. Both of us went ahead and signed an application and also paid our $30 each for a credit check. After getting approved, the broker called and said there has been a change. The change was the Realtor the broker was working with decided to double the security deposit. So we had to pay a security deposit which was 2 months rent and also still had to pay 1 months rent. My roommate and I decided that this was a little fishy because most places asked for a security deposit which equals 1 months rent and 1 months rent up front. We decided to pass on the opportunity. A couple weeks late we set up a showing. Our broker told us that they would be unable to show us personally but someone else from there company will be there. We met up for the showing and we were told that they key did not work for the apartment. The other broker told us that they would call the landlord to see if they had another key. We all left and waited for an hour. We did not receive a call from the broker that the showing was officially canceled. Very unprofessional! After this happened we decided not to work with this company. They took $60 dollars and ran with it! My advice is DO NOT pay for a credit check up front before you find a property you like. I'm sure not everyone at Visionary Real Estates is bad to work with but we sure had a bad experience. We trusted this company and thought we would be able to find a perfect apartment. Do your research if you want to work with a broker.....better yet find a place by yourself! read more

Eitan is a great landlord. He is very responsive to his tenants. Any time I need a repair, it is done within 24 hours by Luis or Roberto. He always give 24 hours notice if he needs access to the apartment. I highly recommend renting from Visionary Real Estate. read more

I have used every other apartment finding service in the city of Chicago. None of them come even close to the service I received at Visionary Real Estate. My agent, Josh, was phenomenal. He listened to my requirements and he found me places that met those requirements. He was responsive and always talked to me about the latest places he'd scheduled appointments to view. I'm Just getting ready to move out of my building after two years. I'm sad because I couldn't have asked for a better location or Landlord. Eitan Coresh was probably the best Landlord a renter could ask for, I had a few issues when I first moved in and within less than a day they were fixed or handled. I also have a long commute and spent lots of nights away from my apartment, I never was worried about my place because Eitan keeps the building very secure and lighted. As big as my apartment building is, the appreciation and quickness he responses with makes me feel very personally satisfied with my choice of living in Chicago, especially moving from a small town to the big city. Actions speak louder than words. Eitan was our landlord way back in the early 2000's, and to this day he continues helping our growing family. We rented a townhouse in Skokie and these were his words... "This is your Home". He meant every word. Amazing! He was there if anything needed to be fixed, replaced, painted, etc. The refrigerator broke down while residing in the townhouse... What did Eitan do?... He took both, my wife and I, to shop for a fridge! He said "Pick the one you like!". We later introduced him to my aunt in law, and she rented from him for years until recently.
