His staff has always been absolutely amazing, normally on time and it is very fast paced but not rushed. Check in with the front desk and either grab a seat to read a magazine or look around for new glasses. Once they call you, the appointment starts and all the eye test and check ups are done. Dr Sullins comes to discuss what plan of action we should take (I am about as blind as a bat). If I have any questions he explains the answers, and if I am trying a new lenses the explanation of the lenses material and reviews from other customers are given. Once the new prescription is given and contacts I am given the option for glasses or contracts or both, depends on your insurance and your funds. They do take VSP which is phenomenal. The staff also does not rush or pressure you to buy glasses or contacts. They let you look and take your time. I recommend all family and friends to Dr Sullins, our family has started within the past 3 years, and we will continue to be patients!

I was VERY unhappy with my experience here getting a new contact prescription. I WILL NOT be coming back again. If I had an appointment scheduled somewhere else in the future and saw that dr I'd just leave. First off the trial contacts the dr gave me were the wrong prescription... I've attached a picture for reference/proof. Before I even left his office I put in the trial contacts, he looked at them with his machine while they were in my eye and he was like "oh they aren't even in the right place" after I said my left eye wasn't adjusting. He looked at it and didn't realize he'd made a mistake still. He also told me that it was only a very mild adjustment from my old prescription. Left eye went from 1.75 to 2.75 and right went from 1.25 to 2.75. So even though the last dr I saw thought I needed slightly different strengths on each eye, this dr didn't even pay attention to that and wouldn't do two different strengths. When I questioned it his answer was "well everyone has an eye that's a little fuzzy". What?? This is not one eye being "a little fuzzy". He changed the axis of my left eye by 4 which I think is why the new contacts for that eye will not stay in place throughout the day. It's back and forth, back and forth from where it needs to be. I asked for a recheck and when I got there the first thing he said was that I'd only be there for a second because he was sure he'd given me the right prescription. So he spent barely a second on each of the options for the strength of the prescription, I don't know what the machines are called so hopefully this makes sense. Just flipping back and forth after not enough time for my eyes to adjust even, same way he did the first time I was there. I kept asking questions and asking him to go back to this or that slide (again I dont know what it's called but it makes a slide sound when it's switched between options). I realized quickly he did not care and was not going to give me the right prescription. He didn't even change this prescription he just finally got annoyed and gave me a renewed version of my old prescription with the axis of 170 instead of my old 166. He claimed they don't even make contacts with that axis anymore. I bought contacts with that older prescription just last summer and had no issue with them. He claimed my eyes would adjust but it's been 3 months and my eyes haven't adjusted.

They are on time, efficient and are able to consistently make an experience that nobody really enjoys, an enjoyable one. Went in for an annual eye exam, but really because I had some issues. They go through a very in depth exam, and will sit with you and answer any and all questions you have. I had Dr. David Parker. Professional and caring. Expected a lot less, and got a lot more. Amazing assistants. All were VERY nice and smart. It was such a warming place with great people. I have found my eye doctor and won't switch to anyone else. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Did I mention that already? They didn't have my lenses available to try, which honestly is typical and no big deal, I have been wearing them for years so I know what works for me. I also really enjoy the convenience of immediately getting my rx text to me, and no pressure to buy anything that day. Fast forward 6 months I bring my daughter for her exam. Great experience again, but with hers she needed to come back for check of her contacts and that's when the service dropped. It should have been a quick check. We waited in the tiniest room they have for about 30min past the appt time. I feel like they didn't actually have a spot for her and just squeeze the recheck in to a full schedule. I don't always do the testing but sometimes I do. Well, today I went back for it just to check on it. Dr. Kennedy interpreted the test results to me and said I had several high risk factors and wanted to prescribe a medication to prevent the development. I said I needed to think about this and asked for a summary of what she was telling me and a copy of the test results, just for my reference to think about. She got very offended and started raising her eyebrows at me, speaking in a stern tone telling me that that I should do what she was telling me because my doctor told me to. I simply wanted a chance to take a breath, research the medicine, talk to my husband, and make a decision. I'm not the type of person to decide something in the room with the doctor at the moment they say to do it. She told me she didn't have an email address associated with her practice and they would send the results to my primary care doctor at the time she was seeing me. When I told the girl at the front I didn't want to schedule a follow up (because after her reaction I definitely wanted a second opinion), because I was going to think about this and maybe ask another doctor, she immediately didn't want to help me anymore. I waited a few weeks to make sure my doctor and I got the information. After having to call, I got all my results emailed to me. Dr. Kennedy is a pushy doctor who doesn't respect patient boundaries.

I was left waiting in a room for 30 minutes for the doctor to see me (it happens, there was an emergency patient). My problem with the situation is that no one came to let me know what was going on and there would be a wait. I also felt overcharged. They added on a lot of little things that are usually freebies. Other optometry facilities have given me trial lenses and even solution and a case, all complementary. Other than that, the staff was professional, especially the optician. She was probably the friendliest and most helpful of all with finding me the right pair of glasses.
