DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I am in home alone hell right now because of them. They are piece-mealing out all of the loan conditions. We can't get a straight answer from one day to the next. I've been in escrow for over 2 months on a 45-day escrow. We've signed everything and now they come up with new conditions before they will fund the loan. We meet those conditions and then they invent new conditions. I am living in an Airbnb with my husband and daughter waiting for this house to close. We should have closed before Thanksgiving and now we are hoping to even have the keys before Christmas. I've called their corporate office and now they're ghosting me. Do not use this company if your life depends on it. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They don't even deserve 1-star. I WISH I had read the reviews of this company prior to allowing a "recommendation" to have me use them. I have NEVER ever in my life experienced the incompetence of a mortgage lender like this. We bought our fourth home in Oregon a month ago and they dropped every single ball they could along the way, spoke to me like dirt, treated us with indifference, never returned my emails or communications, messed up our loan paperwork, lied to our title company, and cost me around $1600 in missed flights, hotels, and inconvenience fees to accommodate their lack of follow through and completion for our closing. They NEVER even submitted the paperwork to our title agency for us to close on March 25th. We ended up having to push the closing to the following Monday and they STILL never submitted the paperwork to our title company. When my title company contacted them, they said they moved the closing to the following Thursday, which was the 30th of March. We had moved from San Francisco, CA on the weekend of the 25th of March and had the movers delivering furniture Monday, the 28th. When my title company asked what the hold up was, they said it was the VA appraisal, which was untrue, as they had the appraisal in time, but never completed the paperwork, as they had told me they had. My title company went ahead and made the corrections on our paperwork and proceeded with the close on Monday the 28th, so that we had a place to move into we NEVER heard back from VisionOne that we indeed had possession of the home. They then submitted the WRONG paperwork to financing and we are now stuck with a house payment $90 too high due to their incompetence and not updating the paperwork with the correct numbers. Of course, they have since sold our loan to another company, who appears to be just as incompetent and refuses to assist us with correcting the loan. Liars, Scammers, uninvested, lousy customer service oriented, and incompetent is the only way to describe this company! STAY AWAY and DO NOT USE THEM! I am still trying to determine if I should take them to small claims court for the $1600 and change that I am out of pocket due to their extremely unprofessional behavior, but in the end, is it worth it? read more

When I think of Vision one mortgage a few words pop into my head: * Unethical * Misleading * Liars * Scam Artist * Shady Talk about a horrible experience with these guys, what started out as an inquire about refinancing my house turned into me being lied to and conned into paying for a $500 appraisal for my house when all along they knew what the value of the home was. (Rough estimate). I then get a call from the scum bag that was doing my loan and he tells me he cannot refinance to pull money but that he could lower my already low interest rate and save me a whopping $56.00 a month. I review the loan docs and would have ended up adding close to 8K onto my loan just to save $56 per month. Don't deal with these guys, TRUST ME! read more

First of all I want to Thank Mai for calling me on 4/2/12 and giving me hope on helping me get a loan when every other bank/ mortgage company denied me do to my less then perfect credit. Mai went over all the( +)s and did tell me they would be able to help if I followed their companies process, And I thank God I did.. I have had the great pleasure of working with Shane and Lee since 2011. Shane Davidson was the Loan Originator and Lee Chu was my Loan Processor. I have REFI'd with them twice in three years since rates dropped in 2011 and 2012. The last I REFI'd was in November 2011 at a 30-Year Fixed 4.50%. Back in 2011, four banks and brokers did not want to REFI me because of debt-to-income ratio and the loan-to-value of my residence. Shane did all he could to talk to upper management and fought to make my loan happen. I have a credit score of 800, no foreclosures/short-sales, bankruptcy, etc. Shane took all my factors into consideration and got me a 4.50% rate from my 6.25%. He saved me $921.00 a month. I contacted Shane Davidson again and was able to REFI at 3.50% 30-Year Fixed in summer of 2012. Both REFI's were the smoothest transactions I have experienced. Both Shane and Lee are on top of their clients and return calls and e-mails with lighting speed! Shane and Lee are professional, courteous and diligent toward their clients. I have recommended family members and co-workers who have REFI'd (in July & August 2012) with Shane and Lee. If you are looking for a home loan or looking to REFI. Give Shane Davidson and Lee a call at Vision One Mortgage. They are out of Irvine, Ca. This was the overall best I have experienced in dealing with mortgage brokers. In my 18 years of business in Real Estate and working in the mortgage industry working with major lending institutions I have never encountered the unethical practices and blatant disrespect for people's money and time as this company here. Vision One Mortgage is messy and their practices is horrible. For the record they denied to an Active Soldier his VA loan at the time of Funding this Soldier has already signed Loan Docs and wired in his closing cost of $41,000 and the Underwriter is denying this loan. When the escrow officer ask why we got no answer, we got a tired fragment sentence stating 'the lender is not moving forward with the loan' AT THE TIME OF FUNDING THIS IS WHAT WE GET!! when I called and spoke to the Manager Juan Contreras he said he was going to work on it with the Underwriter and give him to the next day by 12noon and he will let me know. That man has not called me back nor returned my calls or emails nor escrow's calls and emails. (BAD BUSINESS). I represent the Sellers in this transaction and I feel very sad for both parties Buyers and Sellers my clients have packed up their home and paid for pods and moving truck why ??? BECAUSE LOAN DOCS WERE SIGNED WE WERE READY TO FUND! The Soldier/Buyer is a solid Buyer Good Income and Excellent Credit and still Employed this makes No since... WE are all furious at this point. BEWARE of Vision One Mortgage. This is the most unethical, deceptive and irresponsible company I've ever worked with. Peter Rodriguez was working on my loan for three months and kept promising me to close saying all I need is one more document. He even made me pay for an appraisal for nothing . I wanted a lower rate I had over $100,000 of equity in my home. Also I have never been late on my mortgage for the past 19 years. He just kept leading me on for the past three months. Peter Rodriguez is a very condescending deceitful man and I even have voicemails of him promising me that we would be closing soon. We never did and he never bothered to call me back and anytime I left him a voicemail or message, he would never call me back. He was so irresponsible and neglectful I can't believe that there are companies like this. STAY away from Vision One Mortgage in California nobody knows what the heck is going on there even the president because I talk to him and I got nowhere with him even though he had promised to call me back.and they should be ashamed of themselves. read more

This is a very shady company. Loan officer Joanna Chavez was full of lies. She never once kept her word on anything. She said that she will cover half the closing cost only to tell me later that she is only giving me a $2k credit. Then she informed that she will be returning the full appraiser money only to tell me she's made some deductions without my authorization. She said there were some additional so called appraiser expenses that was paid for without my prior knowledge. Then she told me that I needed to pay off one of my debt and told me to send an additional $911 while in escrow. She informed the company was paid off, but I am still receiving monthly bills from the company she claimed was paid off. I have not received any notices from the company that the debt was paid off. Whatever happened to my additional $911? She was very rude and never once apologized for her mistakes. Vision one Mortgage Quality control called me to ask about my experience with their company. I told them I had a horrible experience. I was told someone will contact me right away to address my concerns. It's been a week and no one has called me. There are still some great loan processing companies out there, but this one is definitely not one of those companies. My advise is for everyone to stay away from this company. They tell lies, lies, and more lies especially Joanna Chavez. She never addressed my concerns nor did she answer important questions that I had during the buying process. I would never do business with this company again. My Realtor was excellent just not the loan officer / loan company. read more
