One of the first things we needed to fix was the toilet (for the in-laws). We bought an electric toilet and needed someone to install it. We were introduced to Nick from Binnacle Marine from a vendor in the marine industry. The one thing that stood out first versus other marine repair companies, is that Nick is immediately likable, and extremely friendly. He took the time to explain to us "newbies" what he was going to do, how he was going to do it, and then he just made it happen. He was so thorough with the install and so professional. He even cleaned up his mess after and it was like he was never there. That was on day one. With the laundry list of upgrades and minor repairs that we had, he was able to help up prioritize need to do vs. want to do, and has been very upfront, communicative, and informative. I have learned more chatting with Nick about our boat in 3 weeks than I learned in the 10 yrs of saving for this boat and reading about yachts, online. We won't use anyone else. Nick now does ALL of our boat repairs. The guy loves boating and it shows. His passion, his main mission is to keep people on the water and keep them safe by giving them peace of mind through the work he does. We will be recommending him to anyone that needs marine services in the Seattle area. If you want to see his work, message me. I'll try to update with photos (I haven't taken any because I didn't know there was a Yelp page until just now).

I accomplished this by utilizing the telephone while Greg and his crew performed their work remotely. Having never owned a boat, I became familiar over the years and owe it all to Tacoma Marine Repair. I had taken the boats to the local marine mechanics around the Salish Sea and wasn't happy with the work, or the time waiting for parts. Gina always sent our parts within a week (not weeks) usually within a day or two, and always found the best prices. Greg still helps me now that I have my own little boat, and I rue the day when he will retire. In my opinion, and I had time to develop this, Tacoma Marine Repair is not only the best in the Tacoma area they are the best in the northwest! Absolutely the best for customer service I have had with any type of business in my life. And they would always under bid to give us a good price when we purchased a new engine. I would gladly tow those boats miles through the construction mess on I-5 when we needed major shop work. I felt confident sending our park aides, with little to no boating experience, into the Salish Sea every day, and they always came back! Thanks Tacoma Marine Repair I almost forgot to mention that when Greg came up to camp with his family he would call first and ask if he should bring his tools to help with any issues.
