Each time, he left the boat cleaner than when he arrived. He was professional, honest, and took pride in the work he completed. Yesterday, Nick and Court arrived to complete another project. One of the first things we needed to fix was the toilet (for the in-laws). We bought an electric toilet and needed someone to install it. We were introduced to Nick from Binnacle Marine from a vendor in the marine industry. The one thing that stood out first versus other marine repair companies, is that Nick is immediately likable, and extremely friendly. He took the time to explain to us "newbies" what he was going to do, how he was going to do it, and then he just made it happen. He was so thorough with the install and so professional. He even cleaned up his mess after and it was like he was never there. That was on day one. With the laundry list of upgrades and minor repairs that we had, he was able to help up prioritize need to do vs. want to do, and has been very upfront, communicative, and informative. I have learned more chatting with Nick about our boat in 3 weeks than I learned in the 10 yrs of saving for this boat and reading about yachts, online. We won't use anyone else. Nick now does ALL of our boat repairs. The guy loves boating and it shows. His passion, his main mission is to keep people on the water and keep them safe by giving them peace of mind through the work he does. We will be recommending him to anyone that needs marine services in the Seattle area. If you want to see his work, message me. I'll try to update with photos (I haven't taken any because I didn't know there was a Yelp page until just now).

If I found the right mechanic it would work out to be an amazing deal. The boat I found had been dry docked for eight months, would not shift into reverse and had the outdrive removed. I found Vestals N Brothers Marine online and set up an appointment for Austin to have a look. He quoted a price for the whole job that was amazing, about $2500 less than others. I felt good about Austin, so I took a chance and bought the boat and the journey began. The motor had to come out to fix the outdrive ect. big Job and it was finished in five days. Great service, great price and great guy!

But, he took a few parts to order that the boat required to run again. Then he ghosted us. Now we don't know the parts he took and our boat doesn't run. We will be more thorough next time when working with a mobile boat mechanic. Learned our lesson.
