It's already pricey at over $100 a week for an 8 week program that only gets you one nutrition session and one workout a week for a total of one hour. The first "nutritionist" I saw was a joke and recommended all the foods I had been telling him don't work for me to lose weight and clearly didn't have a true nutrition background and I lost no weight. A few weeks in they changed who I was seeing and I was never changed back. Turned out the first guy left and I was never notified. I like the second person who they placed me with a lot better, but as I was switched halfway through the program my new nutritionist/trainer never had any openings before 8 pm or that were convenient with my schedule. So I was paying $100 a week and not always being able to get in for appointments. For two of the appointments the wrong time was also communicated to me and I showed up and they weren't available. Ok one time, might have been my error, but twice definitely not as I've never had this problem with any other appointments. They then would say they'd reach out to reschedule and it would be days later before I heard something. I did call and talk to the owner and they credited me a few sessions from all of the back and forth and inconvenience, but one of those again had a time mixup. I finally just gave up trying to reschedule and cut my losses. Learn from my mistake and save your money and go somewhere else.

I really wanted to like Total Health and Fitness. While both my husband and I DID lose weight,…read morethere were a couple of things that I was unhappy with. PROS 1. We both lost weight. There is no doubt in my mind that macro and calorie counting works as long as you are disciplined and stick to a diet plan. THF sat us down and helped us outline a plan that worked best for us, including recipes. 2. The recipes are pretty tasty! (some trial and error required) 3. Flexible scheduling times. 4. Discount for paying upfront and purchasing multiple packages. 5. The provided binder was a wealth of information and a great place to compile and compare all of our stats and data. CONS 1. Their staff is inconsistent and very few of them have any actual qualifications. -The first "nutritionist" we worked with was the only one from the bunch that had any actual education on the matter. She was by far our favorite and the most helpful in terms of teaching us how to eat better and helped us tailor our meal plans to meet not only our physical needs, but also our medical needs. I had some pretty severe medical needs that we were trying to help control with a diet change, and she was the only one that seemed to take that seriously. - We had to frequently ask for services that were supposed to be regularly provided throughout the program (taping, body composition, weigh ins, etc). - Some of the staff were more frugal in their food recommendations than others. For example, one "nutritionist" that we saw was so into trendy food items that our monthly food budget skyrocketed, so we were spending close to $800 a month for 2 people. The other two "nutritionists" we had were more reasonable and had many cost-friendly alternatives, so we only ended up spending around $400 a month on food for 2 people. 2. Many of their recipes have instructional and caloric discrepancies. Counting calories is kind of a must when you are trying to lose weight, so it was frustrating to me that SO MANY of the recipes had stats listed that were very different from what was in the meal plan system. I had to downsize many of my meals to almost nothing in order to stay within my calorie and macro goals. I brought this issue up with several of the staff and received only a shrug. 3. It's EXPENSIVE, especially considering none of them are licensed nutritionists (the one we saw that actually was a licensed nutritionist ended up leaving partway through our second 12 week round). The cost would have been easier for us to swallow if their staff had better qualifications and training. In the end, we were still happy that we chose to use THF, as we learned a lot, lost some weight, and formed several healthy habits.

We put her out, her shipping department out. I will not place another order if I have to see Joanne again. When I walked in - she was busy talking to a friend on the phone and then when she told her friend to hang on for a moment and then had to tell her friend she'd have to call her back and proceeded to tell me how natures sunshine does work this way. that there was no one who could really help me and I felt like I had just caused the worst did service to her. Yet the person who placed my order was so polite, helpful and courteous. Not sure why Joanne is so rude but she should not be the one greeting people at the door. Terrible customer service skills. Joanne gets 1 star. The combined review is the 5 star rating for product and the absolute terrible service from Joanne.

They had me at 2660 calories per day, eating 1 lb of steak a day (after being cooked) which is ridiculous, and cardio every day. I asked them why I wasn't at a lower caloric intake and their response is always, just give it time. They won't answer your phone calls but will make Vimeo videos and only text, so don't plan on talking on the phone with quick questions you might have after signing up. Jeff offers no substitutes or allows for flexible dieting, like a dinosaur, one size fits all approach. Okay! Now that I've added this place do I have some things to say! This company is located in Utah,…read moreas far as I know that is there customer service office, their distribution center is in Nashville and everything is ordered online or over the phone. K, simple. Now a little bit about this company. They provide personal health items. However it is only limited to people who are enrolled. Yeah, enrolled, like a pyramid.....pyramid scam. And honestly it feels like that sometimes. I was enrolled as an IPO. $35 a year, k, not bad. In order to make any money tho you have to enroll 3 people in auto shipment or 2 IPO's and 1 auto shipment. Now while I really don't care about the money aspect of it (I'll explain in a little) I think it's bulllllllllll crap! My uncle has enrolled 5 IPO's, 3 people for auto pay 6 months ago. He finally got his first check and I kid you not guess how much, $35 bucks wow so much money! Let me state that the people who own this company have made millions. There is no reason with the amount of people he has that he should only get $35, especially when he has the direct line to the PRESIDENT of this company. Now I'll explain why I don't really care about the money here, it's because the whole system is F'ed up. I've had my order "refused" by me twice, had to call CS 4 times, the UPS store 4 times, I finally got my order and guess what?! IT WAS WRONG Moving on, needless to say I call back and the "manager" was kind enough to send me a few extra bottles for free well the following week I change my auto shipment GUESS WHAT! Verses the 12$ I was going to pay it was $158 -_____- Return! Oh and did I mention the because I opened the package no refund for the shipping and handling would be sent to me! Great, now I have to waste more money with money that I don't have because they took it out of my account! Honestly I don't know why I give this place a 1 instead, the prices are HIGH! 4 core items 168$ WTF! Yeah they last a month but seriously wth, it works and that I will say, the products do work but the customer service, the confusion, oh and did I mention they got my SS number wrong and I tried to change it 3 weeks ago, sent in a notarized document and they've still yet to change it. Yeah people, beware because this is the crap you get to deal with FAIR WARNING!!!!!

I am submitting my review based on the customer service and product alone. Although enrolled as an…read moreindependent business owner, I do not actively sell the business product. I have been researching and trying all lines of different natural and liquid supplement lines for years. Genesis Pure is by far the most pure, with no sugar or stevia added. I have now been taking the products for 3 years and am on no other medications. I have arthritis in my thumbs and a bad knee due to past surgeries and injuries. I have no pain or swelling of any kind since taking these products. Yes, it is expensive to a point, but I look at it as an investment to my health and love that I am on no medications to "cover" the issues. These supplenents are natural and supply your body with nutrients it needs. As a whole, Americans do not eat healthy. The food we digest does not have the supplements we need. A liquid PURE supplement is the best kind and GP is hands down the best one on the market. As I stated - although this is a business building opportunity, I have zero people enrolled under me. I am not in it for the money - I'm in it for my health. You can read the poor review that states nothing about the product and make judgement, or you can take my word to heart. As far as the customer service goes, I have never had an issue with them. Twice I have had a product come with a broken seal and they gladly replaced it. I had to send a picture of the broken seal and they immediately sent out the replacement. Another review stated the founders/owners are millionaires. Well good for them. They found a great product, promoted it well and are making money off it. That is how business works. Genesis Pure is an amazing product - hands down. Choose to sell it, choose to use it, or choose to not. I review companies and products based on their quality, that is what yelp is about.
