If you are considering getting any visa for China, especially work Visa, you should seriously think twice before going to this place. I've been told to book an appointment for my so called fingerprints and that i should go directly to the Chinese Consulate to do so. The Finch center wanted to charge me $99 plus tax for booking the appointment for fingerprints and checking all the documents. For work visa, you do need to get fingerprints, but it can be done simultaneously when one is applying for it at main office at 393 University Avenue. I've made an appointment there and didn't have to pay anything extra other than the usual fees associated with this type of Visa. An online appointment is a must, though. To sum up: very disappointed with the service and misinformation at the Finch Center. Avoid. read more

it is totally scam and I called the client representative to revoke the application after I realized they are not government authorized Visa center and call the bank to on hold of the payments since I think it is scam. I asked Visacentre.ca to book a visa appointment on my behalf which they assured me they would do. After I paid them, they took ages to respond, wouldn't answer the phone, gave me an incorrect date for my appointment and then asked if I could change my holiday as they couldn't get an appointment for me. After all that I cancelled the service and they refused to give back the full amount (reduced by $100) - stating that was part of the original agreement. This is by far the worst company I've ever dealt with. Believe me it's a very cliche saying but it took a lot of my patience and money to say something like that. It seems the employees at VisaCenter Toronto have never learnt what customer service and product knowledge is all about, starting with the receptionist whose head doesn't know what her tail is doing. She is always dumbfounded and speaks with a lot of uhhhsss n ummmmms. Towards end of February I had applied for a Schengen visa for travel during second week of April and upon acceptance of my application I received an email saying that it's too early and it'll be put on hold till the required date. Couple of weeks later I get the package with required forms n checklist of VFS for my visa appointment and wait for it, my visa interview was in OTTAWA. I called them stating that while applying I had chosen Toronto as I live there so why on earth was I assigned Ottawa? The agent replied that it's the jurisdiction that chooses the centre and that was something which didn't sound convincing. By now it was too late to withdraw my application as my travel dates were getting closer. So as stupid as I may look, I drove to VFS Ottawa with all my required documents and upon meeting the officer working there I was charged their visa fee with taxes which mind you'll I had paid VISACENTER when I'd applied for Schengen visa on day 1 and I had the receipt to prove it as well. It seems VFS - the official Visa application center for most countries do not recognize VISACENTER as their affiliates which means VISACENTER is running some sort of a scam and someone needs to put a stop to their horrible practices. Also the officer at VFS told me that it takes 15 days for the consulate to approve my application and dispatch my passport and I had barely a week left before I could travel. Luckily my application was accepted in no time and I could travel hassle free. I had a wonderful vacation but not at the cost of what I went through and I urge every individual to please read this review before giving VISACENTER your business. read more

And nope, it doesn't make the process any more convenient for you. this review is only for the receptionist at the Finch Ave W location. I went in to apply for a business visa to China. Upon entering the office, the receptionist did not greet or acknowledge me. I told her I was here to apply for a visa, and she stared at me blankly until I asked her what she needs from me. Throughout the entire interaction she was indifferent and didn't seem to care about helping the customer at all. Needless to say my first impression of Visa Center is very poor thanks to this receptionist who doesn't seem to want to do her job. I called in later to make a correction to my document and I waited on the phone for more than half an hour. I was trying to get a visa for Iceland and for some reason I thought this was the embassy website, I paid the visa fee of 158$ online but after 10minutes I realized this was not the right website. I called them to cancel my transaction but the lady answering the phone had no information about the European country visas and she could not help me to cancel my transaction. She asked me to send them an email. I sent an email and after few days they sent me a form and they were asking for a consent over non refundable fee of 85$. I told them there was no administration fee on my case I advised you 10 minutes after I made mistake but no one answered my emails.... Finally through Paypal I got my money back! Visacentre.ca is running a SCAM. I applied for a Norway visa (Schengen) and paid the application fee of around 160 Canadian dollars. I got a "sample" application form and interview date with VFS in Toronto. These people didn't email me with a checklist or a form that I could fill. I downloaded the exact same form and collected all my documents. When I reached the VFS office in Toronto, I realized to my horror that the form was not the correct one. I was supposed to fill a form on the Danish embassy website and pay 60 Euros. Now I have to book another appointment date. I have been calling visacentre.ca office in Toronto for a while and there has been no response. They don't take phone calls or reply emails. I am considering making a consumer complaint with the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services. BE ADVISED! AVOID VISA CENTRE! read more

very bad service. They book a Italy visa appointment for my son and me. they missed my son and mixed up my birthday and my son's birthday. I have to book an appointment again and the earliest is June 30 now to catch up my trip on July 13. It is so frustrated! Do not trust them on anything. I used VisaCentre to obtain a visitor visa to China at quite short notice (needed within 2.5 weeks). The VisaCentre employee reviewed the visa application almost immediately and made any necessary changes, as well as suggestions for how to ensure that I received the visa in time for travel. It was helpful to have a single employee (Adrienne) reviewing the application and process, with very prompt and professional email replies. I gather that there are some negative reviews online, mostly to do with experiences with getting a visa for European travel. However, when it comes to Chinese visa, there are a number of idiosyncracies with how they want you to complete paperwork requirements, so I find it is well worth it to pay for a service to get everything done correctly and promptly, especially if you do not live in a city with ready access to a Chinese consulate. read more

This review is for the Toronto location at Finch and Dufferin. I visited on May 20th 2014 and as a result of the receptionist not taking the correct documents on the day we visited we may now miss the deadline for our visa. She said that it was not needed, the only reason why we brought it was because it states so on the application form, It is quite frustrating now being in a limbo as to if we will get out documents back in time for out trip. We applied before the time required and now we will be over the allocated time frame for our application. For future can your office please make sure that all the documents are obtained at the time the application is received. Never applied Schengen visa and I found the VISACENTER website(https://schengen.visacenter.ca/) claimed to be the official visa application site for booking appointment and etc! I paid 158.18CAD for getting the VISA related service. For people who don't know about booking the visa appointment, the appointment booking is totally free at the visa application site and this company charges you 158.17 to fraud any individual who are not familiar with how to book the appointment. Immediately after the payment, my bank called me that this transaction is very suspicious because they charged me extra in addition to 158.18CAD without any notification. My bank cautioned me that the bank information has been recorded which is very unusual and appear to the bank this company is a scam. The scammer also have my credit card information now that they can use my credit card now and sell to anyone who wants to use it!!! this is totally fraud. I asked the schengen visa agent to change the appointment for next week as the time this company booked for me is not what I asked for. Then the agent send Paypal link to me to pay another 158.18CAD? The agent's reply: "We have received your request for new interview date. In order to proceed, please follow the link - https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=7NWG7X5CVGVAW , make the payment and we will re-book new interview slot for you."" I am shocked! By booking your appointment and providing you the ticket for the interview the total scope of this service purchased by you has been completed and our contractual obligations fulfilled. To prepare yourself for the interview you must get all the required documents and other information in accordance with the requirements of the consulate of your interview that may be easily found on the internet. We are unable to be a source of any advice, recommendations, notifications, etc. related to visa requirements, application forms, consular fees, payment methods, processing timings, consular websites and all other aspects related to the interview. Complete ripoff!!! The most unethical company in Toronto!! This company manages a website called The US Visa Application Center: https://www.usvisatoronto.com/ The first page of the website states "Welcome to the US Visa Application Center" and then immediately underneath that statement there is an "Apply Now" button. Below the button it explains that it is not the actual government website. However, if you were to click the "apply now" button before reading further below there would be no other indication while filling out the application form that it is not the government website. The application is nearly identical in format to the real US visa application. The charge for their service is over $400 USD. Applying for the US visa on your own is less than $200 CAD. A separate tab explains the terms and conditions, which is that once the application is submitted you have 24 hours to get a partial refund. They keep $100 USD if you cancel within 24 hours of submitting the application. After 24 hours you cannot get a refund at all. I emailed them less than an hour after submitting the application as I realized this was not the government website, but I didn't hear back from them within the hour so I searched online for their phone number. The number I found online for them is just an automated message that never connects you to an actual person. I drove to their office only for Shawn S. (a "US Visa Agent") to tell me the reason they cannot give me a full refund is because it takes money to maintain a website and over 20 people cancel their application per day and thus they cannot accommodate everyone who cancels. If 20 people cancel per day this means that this company makes approx $2000 USD per day off of people who cancel their application once realizing this is not a government website. He said they already started processing my husband's application. I asked him what he has done so far. He said that he's opened the application and sent us an email and that processing is automatic. He then told me that he cannot go against company policy to issue me a full refund, and walked away from me back into his office. This company has found a legal way to mislead and take a minimum of $100 USD from people. So kudos to them for being the most unethical business I've ever associated with. read more

I agree with Neville B. Visa Center has to be stopped. I never knew Schengen visa application was this tedious and expensive, all thanks to Visa Center. Firstly, it took almost 10 days to book an appointment with them, and after paying close to $160 for just appointment booking and consular fees, i had to go to my actual VFS in Vacouver from Saskatoon to pay an extra $91 even though I took my receipt from Visa Center to show that I did pay already. They denied any affiliation with them and stated that I still had to pay the $91. I messaged Visa Center to ask what I paid them $158 for and they said they are private company that helps secure only appointment. Like who does that? This is just some form of scam acting like agents. The schengen consulates have no clue who they are and what they do. I hope people do not fall for such. I was so vulnerable and I hope i get my refund. Even after going to my interview, i had to wait another 15 days to get approved and get my passport back and i had 13 days till i traveled from my date as well. i am here hoping everything goes fine but this people suck and customer service is zero. I applied for a Schengen visa through visa center. When I went to the embassy I found out that my family name was misspelled. I send them 2 emails to see who's fault it is, but I received an automatic reply that they only book the interview and don't issue visa. Paying CND 138 to get a booking for an interview and not being replied in case there is a mistake is not acceptable. read more
