Give one of the Bartenders a wave and that's about it. Ordered a Vermouth to start-local and tasty. I wanted to try the Flamenquin and asked what other Tapa is a good one to try (smaller). The kind Bartender suggested the Zucchini Tortilla. Solid Omelette with Zucchini and very good (but it isn't really small). Star of the show was the Flamenquin (and this alone would've been enough unless sharing) Pork with peppers breaded and fried with a side of Patatas-excellent and I haven't seen this one anywhere else locally. Friendly people behind the Bar. Just gently navigate your way to the Bar for your order-friendly local crowd. Surprisingly, they slowed down shortly after I arrived. Service is slightly slow because of the amount of people that they serve at any given time. So yes understandably, you will probably have to flag your waiter/waitress if you want anything after your initial order is taken because it can seem a little chaotic. The place is total old school Andalusia. How about the food? The food is just as authentic as the look of this place, which is always packed. I had the typical tomato salad with fish which is always delicious because the basic ingredients are always so fresh. Tomatoes stand out here because they are soo good. I enjoyed patatas bravas, salpicon, gildas, jamon, olives and croquetas de toro. What better to wash it all down with than a cup of Jerez amontillado and a glass of tinto de verano. Those that have left mediocre reveiws probably don't know what to expect or have no idea what to order, which, will probably end in an unfavorable experience. If you want a genuine experience of Malaga, then this place should be on your list of places to eat.

However, the one disappointment was ironically the most expensive dish we ordered: the Langostinos al Pil Pil (€12). We were expecting nice, plump prawns, but what arrived were tiny shrimp. They really should have called the dish "Camaroncitos al Pil Pil" instead of langostinos! Other than that, everything was excellent. Just a heads-up for anyone ordering the langostinos: don't expect large prawns!

Let's start with the food quality which is subpar at best. Ordered the salad to start which in the English menu stated that it had honey dressing. Was not expecting a mayo based dressing (seriously?!?!). The dressing had egg as an ingredient, which someone in my party was allergic to and could not eat. We told them that we couldn't eat the dish when they brought it to the table. Instead of being accommodating they forced us to pay for the dish. When we pointed out that egg was not specified on the English menu, they stated they did not care. Great sense of customer service! We ordered the spaghetti bolognese, which was not very good. Also order a drink / cocktail which was also forgettable. Overall, this is a tourist trap of the worse kind. We ate here because someone in our party wanted Italian for dinner and we were next to this place. Highly recommend going a couple of streets over from this place and either eating at Casa Lola or Mason de Cervantes - both of which are great dining options and way better than this mockery of a restaurant!
