He was great very helpful and kind and concerned about my problems and took time to listen to what I needed to say about the pain. Always asking me how I am doing Went to him for 6 weeks and 95% of my back pain is gone. I had hand surgery back July 2024, Went to Nova care who really didn't do anything for me. Saw doctor Smith VRO and I am seeing Joe for OT for my hand. Joe is great and also seems to care about my concerns, Both JJ and Joe I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs any type of OT or PT. Doctor Hoodie and Doctor Smith are great doctors. We didn't appreciate being scolded by the receptionist for being 15 minutes late on a rainy afternoon for our appointment. It's not unusual to sit in a doctor's office for an hour or more including yours waiting for an "appointment " She was rude, insensitive and not welcoming to the office at all and not someone that should be in contact with patients that have serious health issues and at the time move much slower then normal. read more

Just had my hip replaced with Dr. Shirley. The entire process from start to finish was exceptional. Very organized, detailed and attentive. Dr Frey is fantastic. The rest of the staff either gives wrong answers or doesn't bother to answer at all. You can call and leave messages and no one returns the calls. I find it ironic that I can't get them to do my disability paperwork, yet it took them no time at all to get an authorization from my insurance for surgery. It was an issue to get a first appt. Then, 2 days after seeing Dr Frey, I felt a pop in my knee followed by excruciating pain. It was a weekend so I went to their ortho express. The PA was terrible. They told me that Dr Frey could not see me for over 1 month (7/24) even though I had an acute injury. It took over 2 weeks for them to get a MRI authorized even though they lied and told me that it was done. That led to the radiology place cancelling my appt which further delayed the test. I was given wrong information about how to submit disability forms. I went back to the office a 2nd time and was given a completely different answer. I submitted the paperwork as I was told to by the office, and now the people that handle the forms are not calling me back nor have they submitted them. My acute injury happened on 6/14. It's now August 2nd. It has been a nightmare dealing with this office. I really like Dr Frey and I trust him, but it's not worth the hassle. I have decided to cancel my surgery and go elsewhere. The office staff cannot be trusted to do their jobs. In addition, they will repeatedly tell you that they don't know how to do things even though they converted to a new computer system nearly 2 months ago. I have never written a review like this before, but I've had it. I have not been able to work since this happened. There is zero urgency or efficiency on the part of the staff. Of course, I understand that they take care of numerous patients, but 7 weeks is too long when you are dealing with time sensitive issues. read more

Ever since they merged the wait times for a call to make an appointment etc are ridiculously long. I've been number 34 in line. When I use the prompt to get a call back, hours go by. For someone who works in a school and can't pick up calls while in yhe classroom, I only have a small window of time I can get a callback. Even if some of the doctors are good, they aren't worth this mess. Virtua has ruined the patient/provider experience. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get through to a human when you need something faxed to a provider's office. After sitting on hold for 10-15 minutes, you can leave a phone number to get a call back. Very good doctors. Not so great assistant, I'll have some grace and not list her name here. I asked for a script for a MRI and was told I didn't need one by my physicians assistant who is a LAT. When I showed up for my MRI I was denied because I didn't have a script. You can't actually speak with anyone when you call their phone number, so I had to reschedule the MRI. I'm not sure why an athletic trainer is an assistant to the physician or why they are responsible, or in my case irresponsible for sending out scripts for imaging. Very frustrating experience. Stay Away!! They do not listen when you are in pain and can barley walk for months after you had spinal fusion surgery only to be told that more therapy is needed. Had to seek a second opinion underwent a 2nd surgery only to be told that I did not fuse at all from my previous surgery years prior. The asst. came in and slapped one of these walking boots on with the x-ray on the screen (from Urgent Care). Went to Dr Alami Ghadeer for my feet. Never looked at them, told her I was diabetic and my feet hurt. Immediately decided it was from my back. never offered any other help. Only CBD gummies. Also she had a terrible bedside manner, very unfriendly. Went to new Dr. she took test, felt my feet, asked questions. I had to go for several tests. I have neuropathy issues and vein issues that I wouldn't have known about if I didn't go somewhere else. i found out she did the same think to a friend who went to see her. my husband was a patient of reconstructive orthopedics as a result of a short term disability. the office was more than happy to take our money and require him to come to lots of doctor visits but when it came to assistance on processing his disability they were not helpful. Initially they provided the paperwork to NJ - NJ paid him up to 3 days prior to his return to work. we have called the office 5 times to understand what needed to happen in order for him to be paid thru his return to work and they have not responded to any of our phone calls or messages. I think that the offices in Pitman and Sewell are only interested in getting as many office visits as they can out of you and their goal is only financial - not what is in the best interest of the patient. my son also went to the Sewell office and something that another orthopedic doctor was able to do in 1 visit they required him to come back a second time for. this will be the last time we goto to any if these practices read more

My appointment was at 1:30 pm. I arrive 10 minutes early, paid my copay and completed the 3 surveys quick. Sat for 20 minutes waiting. I had to leave at 1:50 for another appointment. Very disappointed with scheduling. My first appointment they required paperwork for denial of WC otherwise I could not keep the appointment. This place is horrible. Complained of hip pain. Dr Meenal Patil ordered rehab for lower lumber with no xray. Rehab made me worse. At this point she sends me for an MRI of the lower lumbar. I call and literally flip out that they are doing an MRI of the back and not the hip. They assure me that when I go to get MRI it will be of the hip. I get to SJ radiology and they say it's lower lumbar. I ask why not the hip and they call the doctor. Of course they get the same answering service that every gets when you call. I agree to get the MRI of the back since SJ radiology says that it's going to be a 2 week wait for the hip. Patil sees the MRI and immediately recommends epidural. Epidural does nothing. She says she thinks she knows exactly what to do now and orders another one. Still no relief. At this point she recommends a surgeon, Dr Sanfilippo. My visit with him was about 2 minutes. It was like he was running from a fire. He says I need spinal fusion. I am floored. I decide to get a second opinion and go to Rothman who immediately order an MRI of the hip and it's a degenerative disease of the hip. I can clearly see bone missing at the top of the hip on an xray (which Recon Ortho never ordered). I am scheduled for a hip replacement now and Patil and Sanfillippo are hacks. They wasted 4 months of my time and totally misdiagnosed me not to mention the pain that I endured. Go to Rothman. Trust me. read more

We were made to wait ONE AND HALF HOURS to see the doctor and our appointment was one of the first of the day around 8:30am. REALLY? Come on now, I don't care what field you are in, if you can't get your schedule under control such that you're late to that degree to meet with your patients then there's a problem and you need to fix it. My Doctor is Dr. Louie Shou, he treated me for a Torn Tendon and Reconstruction of my left foot . Sadly I have been dissatisfied. My Surgery went great however, when I initially was referred to him by his Associate Dr. Alami , who highly recommended him and raved about how great he is . I believed her . He is a good Surgeon . However, his bedside manner towards me as a professional and my Physician has not been very pleasant. I've asked others and they say the contrary about him but for my own experience I can't say the same . I've been more than patiently waiting for this day expecting his attitude to change towards me . However, it has not . I'm never late nor have I missed any of my appointments. I've been compliant and have followed all of his instructions carefully . I'am now going on my 3rd month of Temporary SSD and feel that his understanding towards my position at work and duties I perform consist of 8 hours on my feet . My question to him is how can he possibly think that I would be able to return so soon and expect to run around on my feet for 8 to 10 hours that is so unreasonable. I hope that after this post that things change and get better with my post-op visits and my care and I can move forward. My wife and I have both been seen at Reconstructive Orthopedics in Moorestown. Our experiences have been very mixed and, in the end, unacceptable. For diagnosing pain causes, Reconstructive Orthopedics seems capable. I saw Dr. Gregory Klingenstein for hip, back, and leg pain caused by arthritis and bone sclerosis caused by thromboembolic avascular necrosis. Dr. Klingenstein is an _excellent_ physician who genuinely cares about patients, listens to patients, and strives to improve their quality of life. Dr. Klingenstein referred me to Dr. Ben Duckles for pain management. Dr. Duckles is another physician who genuinely takes his Hippocratic Oath to heart. Dr. Duckles prescribed sacroiliac injections for both the left and right hip. Dr. Duckles also provided short-term pain relief while waiting for the injections. Regrettably, Dr. Duckles has left the practice. I was transferred to S. Nadeem Ahsan for pain management. While Nadeem Ahsan did administer the sacroiliac injections I needed and those injections are providing effective relief of most of my pain, Nadeem Ahsan denied me short-term pain relief for the two weeks I had to wait until the injections. This denial was justified by specious reasons inconsistent with my clinical case, gender, and the short term for which I needed pain relief. Nadeem Ahsan forgot his Hippocratic Oath and needlessly inflicted 2 weeks of incapacitating suffering on me. My wife saw Joseph Lee for back pain from scoliosis, stenosis, and degenerative disk disease. Joseph Lee prescribed physical therapy that not only has failed to improve my wife's condition but has actually worsened it with shooting pains up into her right shoulder. Joseph Lee's treatment of my wife in my presence was dismissive and disrespectful. We have therefore both left Reconstructuve Orthopedics and taken our business to RA Pain Management in Mt. Laurel. Dr. Gary Buck of RA Pain Management is thorough, respectful, listens to patients, and exhibits a genuine interest in improving patient quality of life and helping patients reach their life goals. read more

I started to see Dr. Khanna at the Cherry Hill office in December 2021 until March 8, 2022. Over that time, I had 5 appointments with her. I started seeing her because of severe hip pain which was diagnosed as a nerve problem in the L3, L4 & L5 sections of my spine. It was advised that I undergo shots into the spine to solve the pain problem. It would e a total of 30 shots (12 on the first visit to include cortisone, 12 on the second visit to include a nerve block and 6 on the final visit which included the ablation on the right nerves in the spine). On my departure her last words were "you should be good for 2 years but if you have any problems give us a call". I got very little relief and I started to get pain in my lower back (spine). After 3 weeks I called the office for an appointment and was informed she was leaving the practice and offer two other doctors to take over treatment. I have never posted a review on yelp, but this visit has encoutaged me to do so. I've had several doctors for different issue at this practice and they are all knowledgeable for the most part. But on a Thursday morning with a 9:20 appointment, I didn't get seen until 10:38. To have an MRI read and treatment plan takes no more than about 15 minutes. Waiting this long for a 15 minute appointment is inexcusable. When I asked the woman at the front desk she replied by telling me that they usually didn't run an hour behind schedule this early in the morning, and that it was more common in the afternoon. read more

This place has a bad attitude. Dr. Gutman Came in and never examined me asked a few questions and sent me on my way to get an mri. She was mad I didnt have one with me because the insurance co turned it down from my family dr. I then get a bill in the mail for testing. They did nothing to me, why am I being billed for testing. I returned with the mri and she said it was normal for someone my age. There were so many problems on the mri and she said there is nothing she could do for me. I go to check out and asked the girls why I got billed for testing, they told me that was the paper work I filled out when I first came in. I was able to get a next day appointment due to Sue's diligence and my availability. We arrived at 9:15 am, signed in and were called at 9:30 despite a half-full waiting area. We waited only a short time, got an X-ray and consult all by 10:15. They set the follow up appt. for two weeks out and are obtaining an authorization for an MRI. I cannot say enough about this fantastic group. Dr. Jain replaced both of my knees in 2013 and since then I have celebrated with freedom of movement I haven't had in 20 years!! Recently, after years of pain and discomfort, Dr. Raimondo successfully reconstructed my left foot. However prior to the surgery, I had complications with my pre-op testing. I would never recommend anyone to this facility. They did 3 surgeries on me in one year (unethical) and almost killed me on the third. I am permanently crippled now. After the third surgery that almost killed me, I was told I was a high risk patient and Dr. Jain would not ever treat me again. He's the one who destroyed my life and crippled me forever. I certainly wasn't a high risk until they made me that way. I suffer kidney, heart, pain and cognitive problems from the last surgery.
