Drugs, cardio version (X2), and a huge loss of weight did nothing to get my ticker to a normal state and the side effects of treatment were burdensome to say the least. I was at the point that mild exertion like walking my dog left me tired and with labored breathing and aching muscles. My blood pressure climbed, my pulse was over 110 at rest, and the blood thinners to help prevent stroke left me bruised and bleeding from even the smallest scratch. Dr. Atiga changed all of that by performing an ablation my heart. The immediate effect was amazing. I was told to set up follow-up appointments but nothing was available even 6 month out. When I told the scheduler I was left with no choice despite doctor's order, no other option was given. When I insisted to speak with the office directly, my intention was questioned. I said I was not happy with the situation and wanted to make sure delayed follow-up would not be a risk to me. Her immediate response - you are not at risk. I said "with all due respect, you are not my doctor hence you are not in position to give me any comfort with your opinion". I was then put through to the doctor's office and an office staff saved the day. If you feel disappointed with the scheduling office, please give them a chance by insisting to speak with the office directly.

My last 2 appointments have been either cancelled or rescheduled without any warning. I showed up for an appointment (I made 6 months in advance) to be told I did not have one. My current appointment was just rescheduled to another date/time/person 3 days prior to the appointment. When I called to find out what was going on I was told that I had cancelled my appointment several weeks ago (not true). With further questioning, I was told that Stephanie - who my appointment is with was no longer with them. So THEY moved my appointment without calling me. She insisted that they had called me, to which I again replied that I did NOT cancel or reschedule my appointment and had not received any phone calls regarding my appointment, I had only gotten my confirmation text message with the new date/time/person and that they needed to figure it out. I was also told that I have an 'outstanding bill' from 2018, which is also NOT TRUE. As a 2x a year patient, you'd think if there were a billing issue I would know about it sooner than 6 years LATER. I will give this office one more shot because I have had good care, but will move to another practice if this happens again.

When…read moreI could not find a cardiologist for my child with at least 4-star ratings in my area from Yelp, I did a search on Google. Dr. Dangol's practice had 6 reviews there, all with 5-stars ratings. The receptionist on the phone was patient and polite, and helped me find a slot for the office closest to my area. I made a 7am appointment and Dr. Dangol was already there to greet us, even before the receptionist arrived. He helped us with the registration and made sure we had access to set up an account on the health portal for follow up communications. During consultation, Dr. Dangol spent time to get to know us, and was thorough in asking questions to make sure he fully understood why we were there and my child's health background. While performing the necessary procedures, he patiently explained what he was doing and why. When everything was completed, he assured us that he didn't see anything that we need to be concerned about, and said he would send a report through the health portal in a couple days. A week after the visit, I still had not received the report. I sent a reminder in the health portal and Dr. Dangol responded the same day with a detailed report that completely addressed the concerns from the original doctor who ordered the additional tests. My child and I were totally happy with our experience with Dr. Dangol and his practice.
