The communication throughout the entire process was outstanding. Not once did we feel anything less than a top priority. Texts were answered within an hour, and emails were always returned within hours. That level of responsiveness gave us complete confidence and peace of mind. Mike, Pavlo, and Wade were the primary builders, and they were phenomenal. They treated us like rock stars during the entire three-and-a-half-week build. Spent an hour at my house discussing and taking measurements. Waited nearly two weeks for the quote and get a call they don't "replace" and confirmed they said they only do new construction per the "manager". Missed HOA deadline for May due to waiting on this final quote to make my decision to submit the application. Frustrating. They clearly didn't want the job or update your website to remove "deck replacement".

Got five competitive bids from various contractors in NOVA. Some submitted responses verbally, some thru Yelp, and others with a written proposal. I prefer to do business in writing so sufficed to say, I did not pick the low cost submission. The work included (1) repairing, replacing, painting... 4 trim areas high up on my three story TH, (2) repairing, filling, and painted two Woodpecker holes high up on my home (3) cleaning. caulking, and painting my exterior rear slider door (4) cleaning all my gutters of debris. I received proposals from $2700 to $13,000... a really broad range. I selected W & A for several reasons. (1) the provided the best value with a comprehensive proposal, (2) they provided excellent references. (3) and most importantly .... They were responsive, patient, flexible and willing to negotiate. Let me reiterate the importance of .....William and Anna's customer service through my evaluation process (1) Responsive : when I sent them email and yelp messaging, , they responded with 2 hours (2) they were patient, through out my 3 month evaluation and iterated with me on my questions and requirements changes (3) they allowed payment terms that fit my requirements. The workers were professional and clean. They were flexible working on a Saturday to accommodate my schedule. They even took care of a few other smaller items while on the job. I honestly don't know why this family owned business has only three stars. I have read some of the…read morenegative comments that they're so far out and unable to put a pool in, in a timeframe that a perspective client may want. To me that's not worthy of bad star ratings I can tell you from my perspective this family and the people that work for them are great to work with. We went and talked to them got a quote for a pool last year put a nonrefundable thousand dollar deposit down because we knew we wanted a pool and was not supposed to have started the dig until August 2024 ( this year ), because we put a deposit down a few people in line dropped off to wait, which bumped us up and our pool was started in November 2023 and completed a month later. From the time they started digging until the end of this season, they have been nothing but helpful. Anytime I have water issues. I take a water sample in and both Jane or Amber will look at it and guide me on what needs to be added. Anybody that is looking to have a pool put in needs to give them a chance keep in mind they're a small company so they have a set of guys that work on a pool so there is a waiting period but they are very much worth the wait.

We wanted a large chain linked fence area for a chicken run…read more And as I mentioned to Joe of the problems we needed to solve, he said he could build us a little wood retaining wall, would weld a chain link fence over the top too, and build tunnel from the run into the gated area. Struck me as an eager problem solver. He really did a good job of it over all. The wooden retaining wall wasn't perfect though, like they didn't put a gravel bed down first which AFAIK is usually done. And oddly the sides were built with the angle of the hill slope vs building the side level with the back as it probably should have been (level with the back, then level up to front tapper of a downward slope). Although it added some wacky charm to it which fits our custom chicken coup anyhow. The whole chain linked fence with welded top (of crossmembers and chain link) is great, the tunnel was way better than expected (very study and solid). But I'll take one point off for: A) I wish Joe was a more communicative over the build period, and B) He charged almost double the VA legal max for the deposit. Overall he did good by us and happy we chose Joe to do this work.
