I can be a tad indecisive when it comes to choosing wines because I'm open to almost anything. Although, Rose's are my favorite, I enjoy champagne, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir & Malbec. I am a self-proclaimed novice wine enthusiast and since my trip to Napa & Sonoma I know good wine when I taste it. My favorite thing about Total Wine is that every time I go I'm able to sample a few things before making purchases. The problem is I go in for one bottle and come out with 3 or more. The good thing is I often share the bottles with friends and family, but it runs my tab UP! I would definitely recommend running to your local total wine and allowing the experts in there to help you discover the best fit wines for you or the best wine to gift to others.

Since moving here there have been all kinds of crazy top-tier drops: Cantillon, rarer 3F's, Fidens, Trillium, in addition to ongoing deliveries of highly rated beers (you're practically guaranteed to find a handful of beers rated 4.2+ on Untappd any time you walk in here). There's a good mix of local and non-local beers as well. I find it can be detrimental to focus TOO much on local beer. I also think they've nailed the size, both in terms of inventory and physical space, because product seems to move at an ideal pace. I've rarely come across too-old beer, which happens quite often in many beer shops. This is THE place to get beer in the area.

It was pristinely stocked, had a plentiful selection, and the staff was "Absolut"ly friendly and helpful! We were planning a party for a friend. We went in to purchase those tiny little bottles of booze to fill up a piñata (see? even grownups can play this game lol!) so we had to stick with the plastic bottles. The salesclerk came over and assisted us with our selections. The manager told us about the sales, he gave us some recipe ideas and we all had a nice chat while shopping. When I walked in after their remodel, angels sang, a bright light came on and I spun around in circles smiling with happiness as I couldn't believe my eyes. Okay, that's a little dramatic but that's what happened in my head as I've never laid eyes on such a beautiful ABC store! I'm used to the boring aisles with bottles lined up, uncomfortable mirrors so the clerks make sure no one is stealing and pretty much no décor other than some random cardboard advertisements for liquor but NOT THIS PLACE! They had a beautiful set up of seasonal liquor displayed at the entrance. A tasting bar built in. A beautiful display of airplane bottles on one wall and actual décor on the walls that made me want to say "I'LL TAKE ONE OF EVERYTHING!". If that wasn't enough, a salesman asked if I needed help and when they couldn't locate a bottle of pumpkin liqueur that I needed, he called a location down the street and had them hold it for me.
