I loved my haircut by Nicole! I called right before it opened and they had an appointment available at 9am. The hair gods were on my side today. The price of $60 is unbeatable as it includes shampoo, haircut and styling. Nicole did so good accommodating all my requests. I got a butterfly haircut and I loved it!!! The interior is beautiful, from the wall decors, comfortable chair and a nice bathroom. I would highly recommend Nicole! read more

ALL I CAN SAY IS ONE STOP SHOP!!! I absolutely LOVE this place !! I go here VERY often. Niki's lashes, AMAZING! The work Carolina does for my hair SPECTACULAR! They also have a nail lady by the name Danielle, I've been trying to book with her because omg!! I'm always admiring her work whenever I'm there! This place is FILLED with beautiful souls and their work is amazing. I get my lashes done with Niki, I have been going with her for over a year now. I take some breaks and whenever she removes my false lashes, my natural lashes are still very much healthy and strong! And I usually remove my lashes after going every 2 weeks for about 4-5 months and then I take a little breather. But she has never damaged my lashes and her work is beautiful. They always look amazing! I get my hair dyed & got extensions with Carolina. Okay so this is my THIRD time getting extensions. The first two times were horrible experiences. I have had my extensions that Carolina placed for about 4 months now and they look just as beautiful as when she first put them on me! Carolina really has such amazing work and she gets like the perfect red color that I'm looking for. I always recommend this wonderful place to all my friends and I'm constantly getting compliments about how beautiful my lashes and hair is. You won't regret coming to this place. And on top of the wonderful employees and their amazing work; everyone here is just so sweet and really makes you feel comfortable and welcomed :) read more

Last minute walk-in. Called ahead asking if they take walk ins informed yea and I was booked that same day at 12pm for trim. Once there I was taken back fast, she washed my hair, asked about the trim. Kept the v style and long layers with face framing. She did a blow out and hair came out amazing. read more

I came here just on a whim one day as I drove by and noticed the salon. I had never heard of it before so I called and made an appointment for a haircut. I was set up with Deziree. I went from short/medium length hair just past my shoulders to a sort of bob cut. It came out really great and I got compliments on the cut and how straight it came out. I later made an appointment with her for a balayage and I wasn't as satisfied with her work as I was with the cut. Either way, I still recommend the shop ! It seems like they work mainly off Instagram to get and maintain clients but you can always call for an appointment; the owner of the shop is super nice. read more

Horrible experience! I really was hoping to love my haircut by Carolina. Unfortunately, I was left with the worst haircut I've ever had. Maybe if I was into 6th grade picture haircut style, I'd love it. The inspiration picture that I showed of Sabrina Carpenter, is not what I ended up with. I feel like one of those viral memes , "what I wanted vs. what I got". I asked for long draped bangs with layers to frame my face. My bangs were cut straight across and no layers were ever added. I now have to have someone else fix this mess. read more

I made my appointment with Israel. He is friendly, polite, and gets the job done. My mom has been going to him for years, so I thought it was a good time to try him out. He gave me what I asked for, as close to it as he could taking into consideration what my hair looks like. The salon is very nicely decorated and had a cute look. I recommend you try it out and book Israel! read more

Horrible service! Horrible results! I showed Carolina an inspo picture, a simple cut. She gave me the opposite of what I wanted, when I told her this is not what I wanted she gave me a nonchalant response! Literally not showing an ounce of empathy when I expressed my concern about my hair cut! I would not recommend this place nor do I recommend her! It's not a matter of hair grown back because everyone's hair grows back differently and it's as simple as I am paying for something I should get exactly that. read more

if I could give it a negative number I would. I requested a very specific design and asked if they could do it and they said yes. However in the end after trusting them it was hideous, I wanted to shave my head after and cry. I do not recommend Marley read more

May 2019: I referred a friend to Carolina in the hopes that she would take care of her well and my friend did like her hair but she was so upset with how much she was charged. She had to pay $290 for a balayage and TRIM. Not a major cut at all. I was kind of embarrassed and felt bad that my friend paid that much when I was the one who referred her. She saw that the website said a balayage starts at $200 so when she called to book, Carolina gave her a quote of about $230. But the switched it up to $290 total on the day of. Never have I ever been anywhere where they charge you $300 for that kind of work. I don't care how great it is. I understand that this is her craft and she does really well but it still seems unreasonable. We feel very torn because we do like her work and she is extremely sweet but we would like the pricing to be fair. I personally also felt I was overcharged the last time I went in and when I questioned my total I got a long wordy explanation with hair stylist jargon. She's great but just a heads up, your total can be changed and become a whopping $300 April 2019: I've been here twice now with Carolina and she has always been so kind and really wants the customer to be happy. The first time around I absolutely LOVED my hair. Everything about it. The second time around was pretty, but not what I pictured. It was slightly off but also my fault because I last minute decided to spring up some new additions (lavender tips) to my look and so she didn't plan to do all of that but still attempted to make me happy. She was a bit flustered as she was in high demand that day and my hair took longer than expected. I wasn't very happy with the outcome but she was SO kind and patient and didn't want me to leave unhappy. We fixed the miscommunication and she hooked me up again! I'm very happy with her work & her dedication to making the customer feel confident & happy! read more

Wouldn't necessarily recommend this place to anyone. The color was entirely too dark than what I had originally asked for and left unhappy and stained all over my body. I spent 200$ for a darker hair color and a blunt cut, it honestly looks like a job done at home with 15$ hair dye. If you're looking to get something similar I would look elsewhere for better rates. read more

I would love to start with how extremely happy I am with the turn out of my hair it is the results and outcome I wanted Carolina is AMAZING I left feeling like a new woman. I went for a consultation which she got me in the same day I reached out to her and right away I knew she knew what she was talking about and she was confident with helping my hair situation out. I went to her as a hot mess I previously got my hair done at a different salon and I'm not gonna name it because I don't wanna bash people everyone needs to make a living. But I will not be returning to that salon due to the damage that was caused to my hair. The consultation went smoothly and yesterday went amazing she did a complete makeover transformation and I know with Carolina my hair is going to be more healthy and taking care of. I highly recommend her and her salon they make you feel right at home. And then environment is great vibes. And the music playlist that they have is relaxing and makes your time there enjoyable along with the conversation and atmosphere. read more

FINALLY I have time to write a review about this u professional location. I came here and book an appointment with Julieth. I asked for a Balayage. Worst decision ever . This girl never did a strand test on me. She began bleaching my hair and during the middle of the process she realized I had a (band) on my hair. So it was blonde dark and blonde. She still began with the process without giving me a second option. And the very end I was like wtf about my hair and the lighting wasn't the best until I started driving home . My hair was gold , Grey , brown , yellow , and fried. I showed my bf and he was like how much did they charge you I'm like 200.... and I started to cry because he realized it was that bad . So I called the manager that very second and told her I want my hair fixed and that I'm Not happy . She said okay come back tomorrow we will fix it for free . I clearly told her I want a manager or someone with more experience to do my hair because I'm afraid she will mess up my hair more. Next day, I show up the manager is working with another client and Julieth approaches me again and tells me she's going to fix my hair I was soooo confused because I clearly said I don't want my hair done by her . There was no other option . I sat on the chair and she asked me do I want to go blonde again? I said no forget it just give me a solid color and a long bob. NOPE!! She cut my hair to my shoulder and dyed it orange/red when I wanted burgendy . During the process she kept asking her manager what colors to do. Then she cut it supper short and I was so sad because it took me forever to get it that length . She curled my hair . And I left Next morning I straightened it for work. And there was sooo many pieces shorter and longer than others . That even my coworker noticed . Please think twice about coming here . I will post pictures on album read more

I had my hair colored and cut by Wendy. Her work is beyond amazing. You can tell she loves what she does by the quality of her work. She made sure I was comfortable and that I knew what she was doing at every step. Also checked with me multiple times to make sure I was satisfied with the color and length of my hair. Over all super attentive! I made the mistake of getting my hair trimmed after my session with Wendy by another person who butchered my hair and didn't put as much effort as wendy did. Wendy is the only person I trust with my hair from now on. Wendy is going to be my forever go to and should be yours too you wont regret it! read more

I recently went here to get my hair an ashy grey/silver. The girl who did my hair Jeanette. I made an appointment a month early and she rescheduled my appointment time the night before at 11:03pm because she was overbooked (mind you my appointment was supposed to be at 9am and had made the appointment a month ago). Whatever I accommodate and let her change my appointment time to 11:15. She shows up 5/10 mins late and I was sorta in a time crunch because I had work at 2pm. I knew I was going to be late regardless to work so it didn't matter. She comes in and asks me what I want again and so I show her. Very small talk. Didn't really care because I was on my phone but I was a new client and I expected a little more but whatever. So she's doing my hair and then she asks if I have any plans after and I said "yeah I work later at 2" to what she responds "okay no worries we'll finish fast" which she then began rushing. I did not like that because why rush? Yeah I work but I'm here for a reason. So she finishes my hair and I right away notice the color is way off. Of course it's a hard color to get but at least don't leave my hair orange! Well she finishes it and I'm not satisfied. The next day I message her and tell her I'm not satisfied and she gives me a refund. After that, I was at work last night and I felt a patch on the bottom of my head. My skin was BURNED. This is not okay!!! It was pealing and burning. I did not even bother to message her because I already got my money back but like what chemicals did she use that BURNED MY SKIN!??? Will never be returning and will be filing a complaint because my skin was burned and is now irritated. I will be attaching some pictures of my orange hair color and burned skin. read more

I do not reccomend this place. Carolina butchered my hair. Where do I start? First off let me say... I origanally had black hair months ago. I had seen a different hair stylist who started the process of stripping the black for a color correction. My friend recommended Carolina and her work looks nice on her IG. So I told her my situation and she said she would go as light as possible WITHOUT damaging my hair!! Mind you my hair was extremely long. All the way down to my lower back right over my butt. I came in showed her a picture and she jumped right In. She didn't do a test strand WHICH I FOUND STRANGE!! As I was sitting there the foil got really hot. I felt like something wasn't right because she rushed me to the bowl to shower my hair before she was even done with the rest of my head. I could tell she was getting nervous. She sat me back down to finish the other half. The whole time she had my chair tuner so I couldn't see what was going on in the mirror. I asked her to see the hair and she pulled a small strand and pulled it in front of my hair to show me.... here is where is gets fun. I never Booked a hair cut. I simply came for a balayage. So tell me why she started chopping my hair off WITHOUT my consent!! Without explaining the situation. Without out telling me how much she is going to cut!!! She just cut ALL MY HAIR OFF and the kicker ITS STILL DAMAGED!!! My husband comes home from deployment in 2 months and I had told her I wanted my hair to be nice for the special occasion but here I am left with a butchered hair cut. It's uneven and choppy. I came came home and noticed she got bleach all over my LV bag. My hair is fried. I hope you learn from this as start doing test strands. There is nothing I can do to fix this mess!!! read more

By far best experience I've ever had with getting my hair done! I was helped by Carolina and hands down best experience ever. I was traumatized to walk into a hair studio for about 8 years because every time I would go they would make fun of my hair. My hair is super frizzy and my natural pigment it's dying slowly. So for about 8 years I would cut my own hair and dyed my hair. And one day I had to courage to walk into this studio and I walked in super insecure and walked out like bad b**h lol I felt so secure and I couldn't be happier with my results. The first time I met Carolina was 5 years ago when she worked in a salon in Mission Valley area. She is great at what she does and there is no one else I would trust my hair, so when she moved to this salon, I followed her! I had never done anything to my hair other than some color touch-up, but a year ago Carolina suggested some highlights and a different color (from black to brown)... I was hesitant, but she is the expert, so I took the advice and I do not regret it... everybody compliments me on my hair all the time and it is all thanks to Caro. She is now the owner of the salon and is pretty busy, but still manage to take care of her clients giving them the best service possible. She is simply the best! read more

I get my hair done by Carolina, the owner. I've only been to her in the last 2 years and won't be trying anyone else. I came in with dark hair again and wanted to lighten it with a full balayage but I wanted it to start a little higher to give me an all over lightening effect and I wanted it pretty light if she could do it. She told me she would try to get it as light as she can but did not want my hair breaking off or getting damaged so we continued. My hair is short but I have a lot of it. And I mean a lot. She took her time even though I went over the allotted time and she never rushed the process. She actually stood there checking the hair color and texture the whole time the bleach was on it. She is comfortable to be around and makes great convo. After bleaching she toned and then washed and dried, gave my ends a trim and then styled. And I was amazed! She got my hair so light and it was still in great condition. No breakage! I've been to her before and I knew she was awesome but this just confirms it. I will include pics of my hair a year and a half ago after boxed black dye,the day I went in (yesterday 8/21/18) and the after. Make sure to make an appointment using the online site. BE CAREFUL COMING HERE!! This is the first bad review I have ever written but somebody has to say something. My best friend just had her hair done here and we were all in shock at how they completely destroyed it!!! We picked her up in tears and she told us they just sent her off this way and wanted to keep charging her in order to fix what they had done. She went from a light brunette to completely burnt and brassy as if they dipped a bottle of hydrogen peroxide on it! They even got hair dye all over her forehead and who knows what chemicals they used, it burnt her skin and completely scabbed up! She contacted Carolina twice asking for help and she simply refused to help unless she kept paying more. You don't offer a service, let your customers down, and then ask for more money! She ended up having to go to someone else and pay all over again! The hairdresser she went to was in shock at the terrible work they had done on her and had to spend 4 hours fixing it! Seriously, so sad to see this level of treatment. read more
