I normally do not provide negative feedback unless I truly feel like it is necessary for the consumer to know my situation. Vipertech damaged our property and have decided to do nothing about it (see photos attached). We hired ViperTech Mobile Carpet Cleaning to steam all of our carpet and clean our tile. The technician showed up on time, however, worked extremely fast and damaged our property in the process. The carpet was not steam cleaned properly and our carpet smelled after it was done. After a back and forth conversation with Andrew (The Owner), he agreed that the work was so bad that is was best to refund us the charge for the work they did. However, he said that he is not going to fix anything if the charge is refunded. This is absolutely absurd, especially when ViperTech Mobile Carpet Cleaning ruined our furniture (see stain on our couch), kitchen cabinets, our tile, and wooden floors (see photos). The work done on our house was absolutely sloppy and done with complete carelessness. I thought to myself that maybe the technician was having a bad day, so I made sure to give Andrew at ViperTech a chance to make it right before I post any reviews. When people trust you to come to their home and you damage their property, you are RESPONSIBLE. Since my last inquiry, he has blocked my profile on Facebook so that I do not post any reviews on ViperTechs Mobile Carpet Cleaning Facebook page. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Good luck with your search, but in my opinion, I would look elsewhere. read more

Horrible service. I chose ViperTech based on the decent reviews and price to help my mom around the house, who recently had major surgery. However, I regret doing so. Andrew, was incredibly unprofessional. After they completed the service I had to follow-up the following day because they completely missed a portion of my stairs and I politely asked for them to come to resolve. Andrew claimed that he'd reached out to the owner and would call me back. Instead, he blocked my number. I ended up having to reach out via the site to get a response. He said that someone would be out the following Monday at 9:30a but no one ever came. Additionally, in my original inquiry I'd asked if the service would include deodorizing of the carpet and was told yes. I even asked the gentleman who cleaned the carpet and he said yes. I soon realized they never deodorized the carpet and was told it wasn't included. Save yourself the trouble and go with a more reputable company. read more

Stay away from these people. First off, they have multiple websites that make you think they are local. I'm in the Woodlands and they have a site "Carpet Cleaning in the Woodlands". Very nice site and it makes you believe they are awesome with 5 stars from Yelp. Total lie. Owner is a total ass. Tech came to my rental house and gave me a VERY high price for 3 small rooms ($300). Told him no, then he dropped to $200, then eventually $150. I gave the go ahead. He did what looked like a good job on the first room, but when he was moving to the next I asked him to Grande Groom the 1st room to get the swirl marks out. He had no idea what that was. So I told him I'd be back in 20 minutes as I would get my Grande Groomer from home. On they way home, the owner called me and told me he told the tech to leave and he didn't want my money as it was a total cluster from the get go! Just like that! Leaving my house open and exposed to vandals and whatever. I told him he better get the guy back as I was 10 minutes away. When I got back to the house, I showed the tech what the groomer was used for and called the owner back to tell him that he needed to at least suck out the pre-treat chemicals from the other two rooms. Turns out the tech had quickly done the 2nd room with his machine while I was gone leaving deep swirl marks and circles everywhere on the carpet that was previously prefect. I have pictures to prove the before and after condition. Long story short, I at least got the tech to steam clean the chemicals out of the one room he hadn't touched and to try and get the swirl marks out of the 2nd room using the steam cleaning wand. It helped, but there is still damage. Now, had the owner let the guy do his job, there would be no issues with the rug and they would have made $150 for an hour's work. Instead, they got nothing and I have damaged carpeting in one bedroom. He actually had the nerve to tell me he was an 8 year veteran and wanted to talk about this "Man to man". What that really meant was that he wanted to pontificate for 10 minutes and have me listen. In the end I told him he should be ashamed to call himself a veteran by the way he handled this. When you make a deal and shake on it, you follow through regardless if you make as much money as you'd like. His tech was trying to do the right thing by the company, but the owner was such an arrogant ass that they made nothing. And he's blaming the tech! Nothing like being a vet and putting the blame on others for your own stupidity. Get real. Obviously, a "once and done" company. Taught me a lesson, though. Really research "owner operated" companies. Don't just take their word for it. And if the owner doesn't show up, tell them to take a hike. read more

I normally refrain from posting reviews due to a busy schedule but felt the need to share our experience. After we had two are rugs cleaned we decided to ask for a quote on our house carpet. Over the phone we were told they charge $50 per room but upon arrival we were told it would be $275 for three rooms. We were even okay with the new quote being that our house is large but asked to schedule the cleaning appointment for a few days ahead so we would have enough time to remove big pieces of furniture out of the way. The technician was extremely polite and schedule the appointment but much to our surprise, a few minutes later the owner of the company sent us a message saying they wanted to do the job on the spot and that they were not returning to our home. When speaking with him on the phone i got the sense that he is very young and immature. Although the service in our are rugs were okay, the terrible customer service we received from him will keep us from using or recommending this company in the future. We now have an appointment schedule with someone who values our business ! read more

Fantastic. We have 3 dogs, 2 young kids and 4 years worth of stains and filth accumulated onto our carpets. Not anymore!!! Todd came in and did an extremely great job. Just left us with the kids and the dogs!! Very reasonably priced, will definitely use them again. read more

Had a carpet cleaning scheduled for 3:30 pm on Thursday for a house I was moving into on Saturday. Had my fiancé take off early from work to be present during the cleaning. 3:30 passes and no technican or a phone call explaining why. I called the customer service rep and she stated she didn't know why and would have someone call me back. 4:30 passes and still no call. I called back to get sent straight to voice mail. After calling serval times and trying different numbers with the same results, I finally have my fiancé call from her number in which someone finally answers. She then finally got in touch with the technician. The technican said he had a blow out which I can be understanding of. What I can't be understanding of is how nobody called to inform me that 1 no technican was going to show 2 that there was or wasn't a technican available to send as a replacement and 3 that they didn't at least try and reschedule the cleaning. I also called the same day I scheduled the cleaning to verify that the technician only needed water to clean the carpet not electricity cause the electric wasn't scheduled to be turned on till Friday and if I needed to schedule to have it on sooner I would. I was told by the customer service rep that they would only need water. When we finally got ahold of the technician he stated he wouldn't of been able to perform the cleaning any ways without electricity. Total of waste of time, and really poor customer service/communication from viper tech. Would steer anyone way from this company based on my encounter. read more

DO NOT USE THEM!!! If I could rate a zero I would! I had 2 area rugs (not overly large). One just needed a cleaning, the other one had 2 pet stains. (I was giving one rug to a friend who was in need, and needed it asap) When I made the appointment, I was impressed at how fast they could get here to do it. I told the guy cleaning about the one rug about the pet stain and smell, along w the lady who originally answered the phone when I first called (who was not very pleasant, which should have been a red flag, but I chose to ignore figuring she may just be busy or having a bad day). I waited for the rugs to dry, and the one w the pet stain smelled worse than before! I called and was told to wait 24-48 hours. I did....and the smell never got better. I called back and was told the "owner" would contact me. It's been a week and haven't heard a thing! I'm highly unimpressed, and extremely upset at how this was (or was not) handled!! Do NOT USE THIS PLACE! After reviewing them on Facebook, they responded that it was not their fault bc I didn't get some sort of enzyme treatment done....I'm not a professional carpet cleaner... so how would I know this without being told. I would have had no problem spending the extra money! Instead I was told "yes we can get it out". They also said "well u signed the wrk order".... ummmm of course I did! I had two wet rugs in my driveway and the guy was done as far as I could tell. So I guess I should have said "no, I'm not signing until the rugs dry and I can make sure ur job was done!"
