I heard the doorbell chime quite a few times m. Masseuse was very pleasant very soft spoken, gave a really good massage. My lower back was very tender and I told her to take care and she did. Medium firm all over but when it came to the lower back she softened her touch, made the massage that more enjoyable.

If you're tired of shmoozy overpriced massages, this is your spot. Spring Massage is a small…read more(fairly new) business in Schaumburg near Schaumburg Rd and Knollwood. It's a small space but I prefer it because it's simple and they accept walk-in appointments. It's an Asian owned business so don't be expecting over-the-top-butt-kissing-cucumber water serving- service (being Asian myself, I can tell you we're blunt people, sorry y'all, we mean well.) Also you should probably be prepared to hear a tad bit of Chinese music (this makes me giggle on the inside when I'm there.) The different masseuses have their own style but they adjust to whatever your preferences are. I've found that Swedish massages are a bit too light handed but the Asian style or deep tissue massages are too rough so I opt for something in between, and they are awesome at it! They know where my knottiest spots are and always work those areas more. The rooms and chairs are always clean and towels are fresh. Prices are fair and they offer 60 or 90 min sessions. There is a price difference between the Swedish and Deep Tissue but I don't remember off the top of my head. Pros: Awesome massages, great price, simplicity, cleanliness Cons: No website! Yargh!

Good massage. Here's…read morewhat you should know: - This is an Asian massage, which is very different from a Massage Envy or Heavenly Massage. Asian massage is what they call Acupressure, meaning there is a lot of pressure. Some people find it to be too much or too painful, but if you go a couple times you'll get used to it. You can always ask them to go softer if you need. There's a lot of health benefits to getting acupressure, so keep that in mind while you're in pain. - They have semi-private rooms. They have partial walls and curtains, so no one else can see you and you get the benefits of a private room. A lot of Asian massage places are open room, meaning you could be in a room with other people you don't know. In those situations you usually don't take any clothes off, and they just use pressure over your clothes. In the private room scenario, you take your clothes off and they can use massage oils and get the knots out of tight places. - They are very clean and professional here. Overall I did like this place Here's why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. Every one of these places has their own technique and routine. I have been to others that are a little better, so comparatively I have to give 4 stars. The last thing you should know is that many Asian massage places will walk on your back if you want. I asked them to do that for me. In most cases the massage person is small, let's say between 100 - 120 pounds. I would never judge someone by their weight, but the person I got was probably 150 pounds. They should know that is just too much to be walking on anyone's back. I took about 5 minutes of it and gave up, it was just too much for me. So, I suggest that if you have a massage person that is going to walk on someone's back, please no more than maybe 120 pounds.

First off, This lady has a very thick Asian accent so it's…read morereally hard to make an appointment. I couldn't understand anything she said and I'm Filipino.. Second, that's how I knew it was going to be a good massage! Good Asian food & massages are better when they barely speak English & have bad customer service lol I had to call a few times to get an appointment. I noticed she doesn't like to make appointments in advance, I got an appointment the day of. I go to the chiropractor every month, but my back still aches, so my chiropractor actually recommended getting massages. I had the combo massage for an hour at $80 & it felt way longer than an hour! Assumed this was half Thai & regular massage, which was great because last Thai massage I had elsewhere was SO PAINFUL. She started by standing on my back and dug her toes in & cracked my back in 4 different places! That's when I knew it was gonna be good! She cracked me in places I didn't even know could be cracked! She asked if I liked it hard in the beginning, so if you don't like it hard just let her know. I like it hard and this was almost perfect.. Thai massages I just assume are slightly more "hard" so I expected it to be, but wasn't overbearing. I must've had a tight right shoulder because she was massaging that area a lot & was relentless until it loosened up. She does full body front & back. She even cracked my neck & sides like my chiropractor does. It was an overall great massage. I actually plan on making this my massage place now. Will be coming back every other month for this massage! Heads up, she does answer the phone during massages which ruined the "zen" but didn't bother me as much. Also felt bad because the person on the phone couldn't understand her thick accent. She was like yelling "see you at 6 pm!" I assume she looses some clients over this.. If you have a bad back, I think Thai massages is the only thing that works. I spent around $130 for a Himalayan rock massage at another place & it was terrible. They just rubbed the rock on my body for an hour & did not touch me once! So hole in the wall Asian places is much better than the boujee massage parlors I been to.
