If all lounges met the standard of service here, the average airport lounge experience would be much more comfortable.
Large open space with large individual leather armchairs, it feels bigger since the ceilings are about 3 stories high. We arrived around 3:30pm on a Tuesday and the lounge was about 60% full. On a previous trip had arrived on a Sunday afternoon around 4pm and found it about the same.
Walking in, check-in is on the right at a counter, after which walk leftwards around the corner to pick up a magazine or newspaper, then the space opens up to an open seating area, which encircles the main drinks bar, food bars and refrigerated section. Seating areas are also spread around a walkway straight ahead and around the back. There is a smaller drink bar in the back area.
Plenty of drinks--alcoholic and non: everything from water, sparkling water, tonic water, soda, juice, milk, tea and coffee w espresso machine. Beer, a couple reds, a couple whites, a couple rosés, prosecco, a selection of harder liquors.
A broad selection (for a lounge) of warm and cold food options: chilled salad and sandwich options, yogurt, soups, salad, bread, cookies, donuts and crackers, fruit, some warm bowls--I had chicken stew over rice, there was a beef stew also. Pretty good for an airport lounge.
Slight ding since bathrooms weren't as nice amenity-wise compared to the luxury bath products available in some lounges, but not much to complain about otherwise. read more
