I had sns applied at this salon. My nails came out slanting to one side, with rough and bumpy surfaces. Even though the tech went over each nail again and again, she still managed to miss so much. The exception being my left thumb which came out looking fine so there's that one star...
The worst of it was when the technician was filing a nail on my right hand, that I jumped in pain without realising just yet why, so she moved on to other nails.
When i got to my car i looked at the one that hurt and saw that she hadn't covered the entire nail in product and had actually filed down my natural nail bed. It had a tiny spot of blood on it. I'm not going to exaggerate and say it bled profusely. But it stung for a good two days. I had freshly done nails with a bandaid over one while trying to salvage the rest with my crappy nail file at home
I came back the next day to get a refund and was told they could fix them for free and that they would cover the open wound nail their staff member created with some sns in place of an apology and refund for taking off some of my actual nail!
Im sick of having to hold these so called prfessionals hands by telling them when something isn't done right. This isnt a nail tech school! You're not students! You're qualified nail technicians! If you file my nails crooked or slanted or uneven then you need to pick up on this and fucking fix it before i get a chance to see it! I miss the days of going in and telling the person working on me what length and colour I want and leaving the rest to them! Supernails in the 90's! The lovely lady at brighton whose name i cant remember and Danne skin and spa in the mid noughties! Most places that you walked into... I miss those guys. Quality work. NEVER any issues! Didnt have to ssy a word to them about uneveness or leaving with parts of my nail bed missing... read more
