I went here as a last minute resort because I broke a nail the day before my Wedding. After looking at my nails, the OWNER stated he couldn't due it because he didn't have the powder. My nails were not powder. I found a very close color match. He sounded irritated that I came in because he wanted to go home early. After starting my nails, he did not compare length of my other nails, and when I went to mention the different in length, he insisted they were correct. (Picture to show how the nail he did was longer) he did not have me wash my hands before painting, he barely filed my nails so they are lumpy. He only added one coat of paint and so it looks off in places. I stressed the importance of these nails and he didn't seem to care. I will never return. read more

I showed the guy who worked there a picture of nails I wanted and he said he could do them and then in the middle of doing them he said he couldn't and when I asked for a different shade of color he rolled his eyes at me. He had a an attitude with me which I've another experience with him before when he has an attitude and makes me feel uncomfortable. He also made me bleed and after all that made me pay full price. My favorite thing about VIP Nails is the massage chairs, especially when getting a pedicure! Though it can get busy on weekends, service is always friendly. Lots of choices in services and colors. Three levels of pedicure service. All include leg massage by hand and hot towels. Nail services include full set, gel, shellac, etc. Payment by cash or check is preferred. A $2 upcharge if paying by debit or credit card. Prom season can get hectic for service unless you go during school hours. Appointments are available but most clients are walk-in. read more

I was a walk in and they only had time to file and paint my nails which is fine, my fault for not making an appointment. The reason I only gave 3 stars is because I paid over almost $60 after tip for my nails to get painted and the nail polish literally peeled off 4 days later. I went here to get my nails done yesterday and she did a horrible job on my nails. She slopped the acrylic on my nails and was rushing. They were uneven, misshaped, bulky and bumpy. Called ahead for 3 pedicures and we were surprised to actually be seen at our appointment time! So often in these small nail salons you show up for your "appointment" only to wait around for 20 minutes. We were promptly seated together in the nice massage chairs with a warm soak. The woman who did my pedicure was excellent! It has lasted with no chips for a few weeks now. The man who did my sister's pedi was not so great and rushed through the entire thing to accommodate other customers (which I understand but do not appreciate). I typically get names, but I was so busy socializing with my pedi-mates that I didn't catch the name of the woman who did a wonderful job. I wish I could say I liked this place :( They are cheap, fast, and do really cute designs. They also have printed and glitter tips, which are cool. Unfortunately, both times I have had my nails done here, I ended up with fungus under the acrylic, which never happened before or since at my usual nail salon. Nail tech was very rude being rough moving my hands constantly telling me I'm holding my hands wrong and that I must never have had my nails done before. This is your typical Asian nail joint and I love them for it. This salon is in a very new strip mall and still in pretty good shape. They have a good flatscreen and nice new pedicure spas. It's much nicer than Best Nails, and I don't get skeeved out by the cleanliness of VIP like I do there. So I went here on August 2nd and the girl is very friendly and one of the guys are but the guy I got didn't talk to me at all and when he asked me a question he didn't listen to my answer so he had to redo stuff a lot. He cut my pinky with the nail file and kinda laughed about it probably because he was nervous idk. They also didn't have gold or silver and kept trying to change my mind about what I wanted. He was also very aggressive and like jerked me around a little the polish is pretty but he put it on crappy and didn't make sure my nails were even. Also when he put water on my feet to wash them off or whatever it was burning hot and I told him and he didn't listen so my feet hurt. Honestly not impressed and probably won't be back. read more

Waited twenty minutes past my scheduled appointment time to be seen. Then, she sat me down and put my hands in water and went to work on someone else. Waited an additional fifteen minutes before she worked on me. I didn't feel like I got the full "manicure experience" because they didn't do massage, exfoliation, or much moisturizer. They do a good job on the pedicures and I would recommend them for pedicures. However, if you want a nice french full set look someplace else. I am still searching. The white tips are way to large on short nails and do not look cute. And they also don't take their time shaping them nicely. read more

If I could I would give NO STARS AT ALL. This place is okay, if it weren't for the most racist, mean, aggressive, rude man that works here as well. this man from the beginning I showed him a picture of what I wanted, he shooed it away and said he knew what I wanted. He started filing my nails and then he stopped and made me wait 5 minutes so he could smoke. Came back, and he kept placing my hands aggressively on the nail bar about 5 times, wasn't even working on my hands. Just sitting there. Then about 10 minutes later he decided to start on them. NOTHING CLOSE to what I wanted. I asked if he could make them more of what I wanted by SIMPLY putting on a coat of pink and he said no. Making racist comment about where im from and what language I speak. Got upset that I was speaking to my mother in law in our own language. Yet, he was speaking very loudly in his language to his co-workers. Was treated aggressively to get my attention to not move at all. At the end of it all, I Forgot my keys. He jangled them telling me "keys" like if I was a dog and when I went to get them, he kept jangling them in my face. Horrible man. My mother in law and i are NEVER coming back. read more

I have been getting my nails done for years. We recently moved to the area so I tried VIP. I have to honestly say this was the WORST experience I have ever had. It should be called quantity NOT quality. I had a guy that started then abruptly left to do a pedicure on someone else. I was then given to a lady to continue.with the automatic sander she literally drew blood twice!! Very painful and then it costs more than I have ever paid at several salons. Called for an appoint for mani's for 3 people, 1 week ahead of time. Arrived 25 minutes before our appt. They took 4 people ahead of us, two were waiting when we came in and two came in after us. I got called back for my mani at 11:10, 40 minutes past my appt. time. The mani consisted of file and paint my nails only!! Which I can do myself at home, so paid $18.00 for them to paint my nails. My daughter and her girlfriend also got their nails done.............$30.00 and $35.00 Total bill was $83.00. I told her I was not going to pay her that much. I told her if they do not honor appointments they should tell you when you call to make an appt. They also took 4 people before us, when we had an appt. Not to mention the mani I got was not a mani. Did I mention this was my daughter's wedding day, and we had a hair appt. scheduled at 12:00, so we could be back at the venue by 1:30 for pictures.
