Please understand that I continue to have to ask her to change things on my nails, and they still turned out absolutely horrible. WARNING ‼ Cross contamination and unsanitary risks. I'm considering reporting. I am a new resident to Galt and this was my least favorite salon because of the following reasons: - used old nail files and buffers on me - bag to pedicure bowl ripped and I told a staff who said, "it's ok." - dirty bowls on sink - sick staff member coughing - felt rushed - barely scrubbed bottom of heel - no oil on cuticles like other salons - awkward silence in salon (need calming music at least) - one staff got upset when i wanted to use visa gift card that i got for Xmas. She said "you can't do that" because she evidently didn't understand how a gift card works. I ended up paying on my debit because I forgot to activate the gift card anyways. However, I did not care for her attitude and it was such an awkward end to my visit. Customers should leave feeling happy, feeling beautiful and wanting to come back for a positive customer service experience and she was unnecessarily rude. - 4 licenses on the wall and saw more workers, some of which looked way young as if their aunties forced them to be there. I doubt they were all licensed. - Asked for pedicure lady to fix my big toe nail because it was crooked and she didn't really fix it. She also hurt one of my toes because she cut deep. - asked manicure lady for round and she gave me one side rounded only. She was really nice so I didn't say anything and figured I would fix them at home. I was surprised to hear they have been open and operating for 15 years considering these unsanitary conditions. Although they were nice and the foot/calf rub was great, this place could easily get shut down if someone reports on their sanitizing practices. I'll be sure to leave reviews on the other local nail salons. My next stop is the one by Raley's. I hope this helps new Galt residents! read more

Once those 2 customers finished, Gentleman worked asked me for my debit card to pay early due to cashier closing, i said yes ofc considering i walked in late. Ten minutes later i asked for my debit card back, i can see them looking back and fourth for my debit card for 15-20 mins, i knew they had misplaced it!! I told the lady to check if they gave it to the previous 2 customers on accident, and NO KIDDING THEY GAVE MY CARD AWAY TO STRANGERS!! They kept saying sorry, but that doesn't make it alright, they gave my PERSONAL INFO AWAY TO OTHER CUSTOMERS!! and Didn't even realize until i said something. I had to lock my card & now wait for a new card because they ended returning it back but not BEFORE THEY SPENT money on my debit!! Very Unprofessional & Disappointed. Should've never happened and should've received my debit card after they paid for my service. Don't recommend 0/10. Doesn't matter how busy you are, you need to be aware on who's card is who and you can't make that mistake giving somebody's debit card away accidentally. This was my first time coming here and I did not enjoy it !! I will never be returning!! There was a man that worked there about in his (40-50's) (only man in there) that was way too aggressive and pushy. I came in wanting a mani and pedi. The man did my manicure, he was in a rush because people kept coming in. When I told him how I wanted my French manicure it made him very upset and when I explained how I wanted it he kept saying " what you mean" then when he finally understood. He didn't explain why he couldn't do it until after he did 1 set. he just flat out said "$15 more" when I was already paying extra. I've had other salons do my French set how I wanted with no extra charge so for this man to be saying I need to pay more because people kept coming in so he was already trying to rush through my service and also wanted to charge me more because I didn't like how he was doing it is unacceptable. He should not be working there if he can't take the pressure. I wouldn't be this mad if this man kindly explained why he doesn't recommend it and why it would be more because it takes more time. He said the reason he doesn't want to do it was because my nails are to short ? Seriously? Bs ! If he wanted to charge more for doing them a specific way then wright that on the menu !! So I have avoided this place since moving here a year ago due to the negative reviews. Instead I went to another salon in town. I had a great experience at this other salon the first time and have been back several times and left with much disappointment every time since. So I decided that despite the negative reviews for OP I would give it a shot. I was greeted right away and boy did they upsell upsell upsell. But this is what you're taught to do when you do sales so I cant really fault them for that and you'll find this at many places. My first impressions were that it is very cramped, they have a lot of stations which is also good because it probably means that when its busy there is not a long wait. The place could use some updating IMO as well. I was impressed by the cleanliness, they opened a new package of tools to be used on me which let me know that they follow cleaning protocols. The girl who did my nails, Sophia, was quiet but she was very thorough and did a great job on my nails. She did a good job filing them (I've had several places shape this really odd) and through out the process clipped any loose skin that came up. She was gentle and didn't hurt me. She did all the steps of the gel manicure (some places skip a few prep steps). However, it was odd at the end that I had to put each of my hands back in the light 3 times (pretty sure this isn't necessary but oh well). I did subtract a star because she didn't use the gold glitter I wanted, instead she did multi glitter (I should have paid closer attention). However, despite this I had a good experience and will definitely come back. Price was reasonable as well $25 for a gel manicure. read more

My friend and I took my daughter for all 3 of us to get our nails done a few days ago and my friends nails are already coming off. The guy who did my nails was extremely rude. Kept yelling at me to "relax" except I was relaxed. It made me angry to be getting yelled at for a service I'm paying for. He was extremely rushed and tried to push us out as soon as he was done. When they charged us they way overcharged. My friend was only getting an overlay done and they charged her $80 for this when it was supposed to be $25. The staff in this facility are rude and not Sociable at all with their clients. They can all use some training on Social skills and how to be loyal nail rep to their repeated clientele. When making an appointment with your nail representative and she says to come now because she's not busy, however, when you get there they pass you over to someone you're not familiar with - this is bad business. (especially when my nail rep is setting down doing nothing) I could have said no and walked out, but instead I made the decision to stay and get my nails done. However, once my nails where done I took my business and my money elsewhere for my pedicure and eyebrows. VIP thank you for your past services, but this client is looking for loyalty. Got a dip manicure in June and honestly it was great. The color was beautiful the service was quick and my nails were exactly what I wanted. They lasted a very long time, over a month and protected my nails so well never breaking or cracking whenever I jammed them. I prefer the shorter length and the achieved it. read more

I can say that NONE OF THESE MAKE ANY SENSE TO ME... this place is very clean, it's very professional, and welcoming. Check my reviews..... I don't give people "breaks" Best massage , and pedicure I've had in quite a while and I'm from Sacramento ... moved to the delta and drive to Galt to see them! They tell me what they are doing before they do it. Ask if stones are too hot or spray is too cold... not to mention 30 bucks for a paraffin dip , exfoliation, and hot stone massage that is GOOD... so seriously maybe in the past year they have come under new ownership or people are off their rockers. If I could give this place a zero I would. I will NEVER go here again! My mom, sister, and I made an appointment for a pedicures and manicures. I didn't even have time to turn on my massage chair before the manicurist grabbed my hands and got to work. I kept trying to find the controller, but she would grab my hand every time. I was getting a gel manicure for the first time and she asked what color I wanted and I told her I wasn't sure (no one had given me the color cards). She was visibly annoyed that I didn't know what color I wanted. Then I was trying to flip through the nail samples while she filed one hand and she kept telling me to soak the hand I was using. Hello! I'm trying to find a color like you told me to! The woman doing my sisters pedicure took a chunk of skin off of her big toe (enough to start bleeding) and my sister winced. After that she barely ran the files and pumice stone over her feet. She didn't even feel like she had a pedicure after. My sister had also got a regular manicure. They ended up scratching off a patch on her pinky nail when shoving her hand into the UV light. My sister asked them to fix it, they put on several coats on top of the issue and it looked really bad. She had to ask several times for them to remove and redo that one nail. Again, visibly annoyed. I think the icing on the cake was towards the end of our pedicures (they had just put the paraffin wax on our feet) a group of 4 women came in wanting pedicures. Instead of telling them that there would be a slight wait they completely rushed through the rest of our pedicures in order to clear the seats. If I could give negative stars I would. The guy who did my nails did the worst job, he charged me 80 dollars for an overlay, farted the entire time and never apologised. I took my friend and her daughter and he yelled at my friend the entire time and also charged both of them 50 dollars more than discussed. Horribly unprofessional. I recommend going somewhere they actually take pride in quality of service and treat their customers with respect. I will be reporting to the better business bureau for charging more than discussed and advertised. I didn't have an appointment so I understood, it's way too overpriced for what it is, my nails weren't even the same shape and I noticed they reuse the scrubbing tool (that's supposed to be disposable) they just rinse it in the water you just had your feet soaking in! I didn't notice till the end of my pedicure who knows how many times they used it before using it on me! my feet felt really itchy after for a few days and now my arches are pealing and the skin is rough!
