i am fairly new to the area here in Big Spring, so i did a lot of yelp research on a good salon. although there's not a lot of good reviews, you never know unless you try the place yourself. i got the dipping powder on my natural nails and was pretty pleased with it! it's a clean, quiet place and they communicate with you pretty well (if there's a wait time). i know they do eyelash extensions so that is my next service i am going to try at this salon. Very bad service, had been waiting for hunny to do my nails over an hour and they choose to sit someone else after they knew I had been waiting. They should really consider who walks in first and respect it. I still said it was okay that I'll wait until she would finish but the fact they insisted that she would take long and couldn't take me anymore. Black women - This is NOT the establishment for you. There is OVERT RACISM. My younger sister arrived to salon at 5:40 with a closing time of 7:30. Immediately upon entry she was told she was not going to get her nails done for no reason. She was simply told "no one wants to do her nails." She left and had a white male friend of hers come to the salon stating that his wife would like her nails done. The staff happily accepted. When my sister walks back in she is told that they will not do her nails and that they "do not work for her". She had no anger in her voice and had handsomely tipped the staff for her previous set. Came in with a friend (I just recently got my toes done the week before) I just wanted a massage on my legs so I could relax... I walked up to the front, kindly asked if I could just pay for a massage..? Whilst sitting on the couch with his face in his phone (100 lbs soaking wet, blondie boy manager).. just looks at me and says "No".. and continues to scroll his screen... I came in on a late Monday afternoon and from the outside, aside from the "open" sign, you cannot tell if this place is even open. They have shades pulled down along all of the windows and a weird tied up curtain thing hanging right in the doorway that you have to walk around. It appeared to me moderately busy but what I assume was the owner told me to sit at a station next to where he was working on someone and had someone bring nail polish remover for me to start soaking off my gel manicure. While sitting there waiting I did notice how dirty everything seemed and the station I was at had dust and I don't know what else all over it, it just all around felt dirty. After probably 15 minutes someone finally came to work on my nails. After he removed all of the old gel from my nails he started to get ready to paint them and I had to stop him and ask about the actual manicure, apparently the owner was too busy entertaining the other customers to have heard me when I said I wanted a gel manicure. The gentleman doing my nails apologized and did the manicure, he was very careful to not cut me and did a fine job with it. As an aside referencing my previous statement of the salon being dirty, when he went to do my manicure he pulled a package of the tools out of a drawer but it was not sealed and to be honest I'm used to places keeping their clean tools in one area and then being actually sealed. Also the fingernail file and buffing sponge he used was absolutely disgusting and both looked to have been used for weeks, if not longer. When he went to paint my French manicure I explained I like the white part to be thinner, more natural rather than halfway down my nail because I also prefer short nails. I had him fix it twice but finally gave up because he just wasn't understanding. The manicure is just okay, I'm certainly not impressed especially after paying $40. Had I known it was going to be that expensive I would have gotten my nails done when I was in Odessa last week at a place where I used to go when I lived there. I realize it's Big Spring, TX but you can keep the salon clean if you put any effort into it and just because there aren't many nail salons in town it doesn't justify the price especially with the lack of cleanliness and mediocre service. I won't be back and when I need my nails done again I'll drive the hour to Odessa where I know the nail salon is clean and they do it the way I asked. Edit: After two days the gel came off one of my nails, I have been using rubber gloves when doing dishes and cleaning so it's not from abuse on my part. I waited an hour to get the ONE nail fixed when they said it would be 15-20 minutes. This place is a joke, avoid at ALL costs. read more

If you're okay with recycled (re-used) acetone for your nails to soak in and uneven nails, you'd be ok coming here... Today I came in to get a manicure and pedicure with regular polish. I told the guy that was assigned to do my nails 4 times and he still tried to put dip powder on them. I had to be kinda assertive the last time I said REGULAR POLISH before he got it. Then, after I'm soaking the previous color off of my nails, he returns the USED acetone BACK to the bottle for the next customer to use...not sanitary whatsoever. After my nails were done, I noticed that they still had acrylic on them in random spots, meaning my nails are jagged and uneven. They charged me $5 for matte top coat & it's not even matte...it's still shiny. The floors are so dirty I feel gross just sitting here. I have been in here one other time and had an ok experience, so that's the only reason I'm giving this place two stars rather than one. read more

I am so happy they wrap their pedicure bowls instead of just cleaning them and calling it a day. But to be completely honest - the service is definitely a 1/5 because 1) there's no background music 2) everyone makes you feel rushed 3) they're ROUGH when doing your nails. The ambiance just isn't pretty. It doesn't make you feel like even an average nail salon. To make the situation worse it felt like they were rush and as if they were too busy to do my nails. The worst part of it all was that the guy who did my nails beat my hands to a pulp - went straight in with the drill & didn't even give me the option to wash my hands after all the drilling. My nails came out with debris on them and gel polish everywhere. Unfortunate to say I won't be coming back. read more

Since I've heard this salon just got a new OWNER I got to stop by and see what they have. Yet, i was so please that i stop by on Saturday. They got a brand new menu, everything was cleaner than before. I got the VIP luxury pedicure, which is the top kind of pedicure. I was so glad i got this, not only did they gave you fresh aloe vera, paraffin, sea salt to exfoliate the dead skin and hot towels plus hot rocks. I also got the hot wrap on my shoulders and collagens treatment for my hands. It was totally worth it. And i also got my nails done. Im so glad a find a new place to have my nails done whenever i visit my friends. I will definitely be back when im in town. And they also have other services such as waxing and eyelashes. I arrived at this salon as soon as they opened this morning. I got in very quickly and was asked which pedicure I would like. I decided on the deluxe pedicure for $55. I asked how much the shellac polish would be and the lady proceeds to say "a couple more dollars". To my knowledge I took this as $2-5. While being treated many other people came into the nail salon and I felt that my pedicure was very rushed for paying deluxe. My massage was approximately 6 minutes long. After this I went to pay and was told my total was $70. I asked how they came up with this number when my pedicure was $55 and the shellac was "a couple more dollars". The lady checking me out told me they charge $15 for shellac polish. I asked her to show me the sign where it reads "shellac $15" and they don't have one. She then grabs my credit card out of my hand and starts to swipe it. I took my card back and told her to not touch my personal things and that I would swipe my card. Needless to say I will not be returning to this salon as I felt as though I got scammed. read more
