Nicks employees are always very friendly, and even play around with our kids who sit at the front door and watch them on the riding mowers. Nick also installed a beautiful stone patio in our back yard , along with new stepping stones, landscaping, and a new fence. He was able to show us beautiful paver options within our budget. It was finished on time and for the amount of money originally quoted. It was a great decision!

We hired Blue Costa to completely remodel our yard, including adding retaining walls, removing old…read moreexisting retaining walls, adding leveled area for a garage, mitigating drainage (they added a new drywall), and a new pea-gravel patio area. In our process, we received multiple quotes, and spoke with over 6 different experience contractors. We chose Blue Costa due to their detailed quote, detailed contract, timely responses, and honesty in their customer service and work. The backyard has now transformed and is useful and beautiful. Whenever we have friends over they are amazed by the transformation. Working with Blue Costa was smooth and communication was effortless which I greatly appreciate. There were a few issues along the way, as typical with any construction project, but the Blue Costa team was always timely in communicating and offering solutions. I highly recommend them. We invested a lot with them and would do it again! Their quotes are reasonable and fair, and their workmanship is of great quality. Don't look elsewhere, seriously!

Much of the house is great. But we also have no shortage as far as our to-do list goes! Among those was a concrete retaining wall that bordered our neighbor's property that was a little under four feet tall and definitely worse for wear. It had separated from a corner and the whole thing was listing quite hard. It was a source of friction in negotiations in buying the place (no thanks to Beyond Real Estate of Hudson, MA!), and with good reason. Anyway, I stared calling for quotes the day after we moved in. Eddy showed up, gave us a great quote (and even a bit of a discount to start the work right away and fill a slot), and demolition of the old wall began yesterday. The demo job was . . . far more complicated than either I or Eddy had originally thought. The old wall was sunk deep into the ground (probably why it had not fallen over completely yet), and ultimately extraction took a dance of heavy duty saws, a bobcat, and a small excavator that lost its treads at one point. Yet, throughout the process Eddy was a paradigm of kindness and professionalism. He kept the job moving, and even called this evening to apologize for the delay. He is a contractor of great character, craftmanship, and thoughtfulness. It is a so-far-so-good situation, and I am looking forward to the finished product.
