We were part of the recent merger from The City Dog Daycare to Park Your Paws. We are a couple…read moremonths in and so far, it has been a smooth experience. Ellie has been with The City Dog since 2018 and we're glad the space still feels familiar for her. There are some different faces around but we have experienced that over the years and love that Ellie still feels at home. We boarded her for 6 days and 5 nights in June (for Vaca) and were really happy with the care she received. Prices on boarding have gone up a lot for a dog suite, but they honored our previously booked rate which we appreciated. We also did a recent daycare visit on July 3 and still have several days left in our old package that we can use this year before making any real changes. The only downside is the change from member packages to a new (for us) monthly subscription model. It's not really that appealing or attractive to us. The subscription based model takes away the flexibility we enjoyed as longtime customer. So we never felt like we were losing money for services we didn't use. Overall, space is great, now larger, with the building combined and noting we are a couple months in on the merger. We will see how things go over the next few months, but for now we feel good about the transition and would recommend Park Your Paws Columbus-Downtown, especially for boarding and daycare. They are that friend or family member that you know loves your pet, and would be happy to come over and take care of them. All while sharing some love. I trust them in my home unsupervised. We love the notations of how the visit went with our pets. We even had an occasion to sit down and discuss a week of multiple visits for a vacation. We just hated to board them, and no one was available. Plans freed up and our house sitter was able to come through. This does not deter from the fact that we were making plans to leave them solely in the trusted care of DD. Our house sitter was very happy that DD was able to care for the dogs twice during that week. They truly help to make your life run a bit smoother during a busy time.
