I've been passing by this place for a while now without dropping in because I wasn't really sure…read morewhat they had to offer. Entertainmart isn't exactly specific, but finally curiosity got the best of me so I decided to give it a once over. I was impressed with the size of the place for starters. They primarily offer dvd's and video games for sale. It's pretty much used material in these categories, and while the prices on the dvd's are good the prices on the games not so much. Much like Game Stop they do buy used gear, and their used games are just a few bucks less than new. The selection is enormous however. They also have records for sale, plenty of Poke cards, used gaming systems, Funko bobble heads and so on. Not a ton of books though. It's a pretty slick store overall, and the gamer can certainly spend a lot of time in there wandering around. I'm glad I swung by.

Use ur Mifi 4) lots of kids story-telling time 5) decent book collection. A more progressive collection than I would have imagined. So I generally prefer local local coffee shops - but somehow this Barnes is more local and homey than the others with some good atmosphere and people. And I never felt like I should be rush out while doing work.

This chain has evolved since the early 90s (Book Barn, Caveman Comics, etc.). They have become more…read moreof a media store than a comic book store in recent years. Upon entering, you will see a diverse selection of neat stuff that covers the entire spectrum of geek entertainment media ranging from collectible toys from the 80s, video games, used bluerays, and rare posters. These things exist on the internet, but it's nice to see them with your own eyes on a store shelf. Surprisingly, it's their collection of comics and graphic novels that is lacking. I often look for trades of The Walking Dead and Preacher, but most of the time they are out of stock. The employees don't seem to know much about the medium either, so you might be better off finding another store that specializes in comics if that is what you want. I once asked an employee about premium mylar comic book bags and the kid didn't have a clue. He actually referred me to Hobby Lobby, which is ridiculous. As a video game store, it fares a little better. Their selection is surprisingly good. It's nice to see an entire section devoted to PS2 games, when Game Stop hardly has any at all. I've been somewhat impressed with the condition of my game purchases, as the disks are rarely scratched all to hell (the way Game Stop's are). Their pricing is often lackluster, but this can be offset by their online coupons (for which you can sign up) and their frequent 3-for-the-price-of-2 sales. In the end, these deals can average out the prices to where they should be. Even so, Amazon often beats Vintage Stock's used game prices with brand new, sealed games. I use Vintage Stock as a secondary resource, when I can't find a specific game I'm looking for on the internet. The real value that Vintage Stock provides is a physical location that you can visit, allowing you to see large collections of cool stuff all in one place. This is becoming a rare commodity nowadays.
