**New location update!! I frequented the former location but they've moved to 2014 Palmetto Avenue recently. This new store is literally a few blocks south. The new location is immaculate with an incredible curated collection of items- ranging from American, Native American Indian, to Mexican history. Cookware, photos, jewelry, Tiffany style lamps, furniture, etc! You will feel like you've walked into a museum! The owner Efrain is one of the nicest people you will ever meet! Honestly, I don't know how they do it. Without fail, I leave here with something perfect. Awesome local shop for furniture, home accents, decor, plant stands, pottery and more! They have great taste and select really cute items. You won't find old junk from Ikea here- the shelving I bought was beautiful and came with a matching desk and two side tables. They are unique and "beachy" and I get so many compliments on where I bought them- people think they are from Ethan Allen. Excellent local place to explore while you are in Pacifica for a day of beachcombing and exploring. This is a lovely local spot for locals, tourists and visitors. This gem in the sleeping part of Pacifica, is a must go on your antique stop shopping down the coast. The prices and customer service are hard to beat. Good period range of furniture. Do you like sturdy wooden furniture, old Pyrex bowl sets, vintage postcards, and the occasional bit of stained glass? Well, then this is your joint. I say go for the goods, stay a bit longer for a friendly chat with the dear owner, Yolanda. One of the last times I was there I had asked Yolanda if she ever got in glass lids for old, Pyrex casserole dishes. Having broken more than a few lids in my day, I am constantly on the hunt for replacement lids at all the charity shops & at the occasional upper-end 'resale' shops around the area. Not only did Yolanda not look at me like I was nuts (some shop owners & managers have when queried), but she asked me to come back in a couple of weeks, and she'd have something for me. I went back & she indeed had a glass lid that fit my dish. I made ready to pay & she waved my wallet away. -an unexpected delight. (And I wound up buying something unrelated to Pyrex dishes to boot.) I love stopping in here any time I am in Pacifica. If you see something you love, get it! Their inventory seems to turn over quite quickly. This past Saturday during the Pacifica Fog Fest, the store was bumping and it looked like quite a bit of people were buying up their vintage goodies. Great prices on jewelry, paintings and furniture and super friendly staff/owners (not sure who was manning the store the times I've been in.) We found a antique bedroom dresser for our extra bedroom. The dresser was an excellent piece of old and practical furniture. We were on vacation and asked them to hold it a few days until we drove home. The owners were very helpful. Their selection of items was very good. We had a difficult time deciding between several items. The owner came in early on Sunday morning so we could pick up the dresser and begin our four hour drive home. We go antiquing all the time. Found this place by mistake two weekends ago and was super happy with my toaster and muppets glasses. My husband and I spotted a piece of furniture we had to have but wanted to " sleep" on it. Emailed with owner Yolanda all week and went back last weekend to purchase it. The owners are some of the nicest people you will ever come across, they are holding the piece until can get the proper truck , AND gave us a discount. The first thing you notice when you walk into this shop is that something smells good - I think it was the cinnamon candle burning near the register but it reminded me of apple pie. The second thing I noticed was the very cool collection of large Standard Oil color ad posters from the 1920's and 30's (not for sale) that ring the upper walls all around the shop. This is a very nicely laid out shop that you feel comfortable wandering around in without being overwhelmed by clutter. 1940s and 50s metal soda signs are very cool, for example the 7-UP "It likes you" sign or the old soda coolers/buckets, 1960s floor lamps, oak desks, armoires, dining tables, bedroom sets, a collection of Return of the Jedi glasses complete with one featuring Jaba along with prisoner Princess Lea alongside a cool five-piece collection of vintage oil cans, the kind the Tin Man used to favor. One of the specialties of the shop, owner Efrain Torres points out, is vintage Mexican movie posters and lobby cards--movie posters traveled with the films so a much smaller number of them were printed than in the USA and these are pretty rare. There's also a cool spot under the stairs containing Mexican pottery from Oaxaca. I went in a few days ago and there were all these copies of Life magazine from the 1930s and 1940s--very cool. After several visits on different days, I was very pleased when Efrain and Yolanda gladly helped my friend and I learn of their various treasures and gave us a very good deal because we bought several items including a very large buffet which will be enjoyed for years to come!!! i'm giving this place 5 stars primarily on price. i looked around other places, and this place starts 10-20% lower than other places i've been. the card table i bought was 50% less than comparable ones i've seen. and they gave me a further 20% discount. i know dickering for a lower price can be part of the fun, but i don't like it. the selection is smallish, but it replenishes fast. and the selection is all in good shape - no well-loved nonsense. service is fantastic. read more

Terrific selection, clean, easily browsable, and amazing prices! My boyfriend and I resolved to dispose of some of our IKEA furniture and replace it with items we really, truly like, preferably gently used and one (or a few) of a kind. After a few weeks of browsing jaw-dropping high prices in San Francisco's vintage furniture shops, we headed down to Vintage Cove, on the advice of some friends of ours. What a tip! We will be returning. We would have walked out of here with way more stuff, but we'd brought only our little Civic to transport things home. Ended up with a beautiful rocking chair and a small table with a colorful tiled inlay. The store is really doing vintage furnishings right. I've found that these places tend to fall into one of two categories: the nicely curated, but really steeply priced, or the more budget-friendly, but jam-packed, pretty filthy, and hard to browse. Vintage Cove is neither of those. The owners clearly have an editorial eye for great items, and things are displayed in ways that make it easy (if time consuming-- so much cool stuff to linger over!) to take in everything. Not only furniture, but great posters, artwork, and other tchotchkes. In addition, when we came in, their credit card terminal was down, and they discounted all our items for the inconvenience. It wasn't something we expected or asked for, and it was such a nice gesture. Definitely a mark of great service. read more

What a wonderful store! We were in Pacifica yesterday and just happened to drive by the store. I'm so glad we stopped in. It's full of treasures, but we happened to find two pieces of furniture that we need at VERY reasonable prices. We weren't sure on the measurements of one, so they agreed to hold it for us. I'm glad they did, because other people were willing to pay for it right then and there. It turns out, the furniture will fit (we haven't picked it up yet, but I wanted to sing their praises). I just went in to this gem of a store again a few weeks ago, and was not surprised by the entire change in inventory. They keep it fresh, and I bought another beautiful antique-a 19th century corn husker with beautiful lettering on it, and gorgeous patina. Wow, Pacifica really has some hidden gems! Vintage Cove is another wonderful antique store there that you have to visit. It is clean, well organized and has loads of great merchandise for amazing prices. It's in an old grocery store(read the sign outside) and there is still an old freezer room in the back that I was told they use for storage. This wonderful antique and collectible store is in an old grocery and the charm of the original store shines through now. The store is filled with a wide variety of furniture, and I always find something I can't live without when I go. Prices are easy on the pocketbook. I love the light-filled room divided into vignettes that make it easy to know if a piece will work for you when you get it home. I also love the Mexican movie posters and bright glassware throughout. Compared to the other antique stores in Pacifica, this place is a paradise. You can actually walk around the store and don't have to (literally) dig under piles of junk, like in other nearby stores I could name. We bought a set of chairs from them. They kept them for us while we made 2 trips to get them home in our car, gave us a good price on buying the entire set, and then gave us an additional discount for paying cash. This place is one of my regular haunts when I go "antiquing" -- the inventory leans towards mid-century (there's always at least one classic diner-type dining set), but occasionally you can find some older Art Deco/Art Nouveau stuff. This place is a hidden gem. The quality of their stuff varies (genuine antiques mixed with some Cost Plus-type imports) but I always find something I want. I've bought barrister bookcases here that cost half what they would in the city or on the Peninsula. The owners are always open to bargaining.
