Very standard selection with a nice staff. However, it was very jarring to walk in and see items from Nazi Germany for sale. Rather startled by the insensitivity displayed by the owners and their choice to carry this kind of merchandise. I cannot support a business that makes money off of such items.

Pretty cool vintage store with a variety of items. You can spend about 30-60 minutes going through everything.

I enjoyed walking around this store. The antiques were neatly displayed as oppose to messy and littered.

We paid Roy, the owner, for services for the move and for maintenance service. When clock was delivered it was working for 5 hours and then would stop. Roy came by the house at least 8 times, same issue. This has been going on since August 2024. Straw that broke the camel's back, he came back with his assistant Josh on May 10, 2026, and we were assured the clock was fixed. Same problem, clock stopped after 5 hours. Several messages were left for Roy and Carol. I received a call from Roy May 19, 2026. He advised that we broke the clock, that someone took out the facing and dropped it and damaged the hand on the clock. I advised him no one touched the clock. Roy was the only one that serviced the clock, as a matter of fact he took the facing off the clock to the shop several times. I asked Roy for his insurance broker information to submit a claim. He advised he does not have any insurance. Save yourself the aggravation and don't do business with them.

This place was magical! I was scared of all that stuff but then I felt like I was walking through history at the same time.

I've dreamed of owning a tall Victorian-style mirror my whole life. Recently, when I moved into an…read moreapartment with high ceilings, it finally felt like the right time to find one. I started searching online but couldn't find anything close to what I had in mind. Then I remembered the antique shop near my old apartment, the one run by such lovely people with an amazing eye for beautiful pieces. So I went there, hoping to get lucky. As soon as I walked in, I saw many lovely mirrors, but none that matched the one I'd been imagining. Just then, Howard asked if I was looking for something specific. I told him about the mirror I'd been dreaming of, and he smiled and said, "I just bought one like that." He showed me a photo on his phone, and it was the one. He told me it would arrive on Monday, but I was leaving town for work and worried I might lose my chance. Howard kindly promised to hold it for me until I returned. When I came back, I hoped he had kept his word, and he had. There it was, waiting for me: the gorgeous Victorian mirror I'd dreamed of all my life. Not only did he keep his promise, but he also gave me a generous discount, saying that the mirror was meant to be mine. They delivered it to my second-floor apartment with great care and professionalism. I absolutely love it and feel so grateful to Antique & Art Exchange SF for helping make a lifelong dream come true.
