Very standard selection with a nice staff. However, it was very jarring to walk in and see items from Nazi Germany for sale. Rather startled by the insensitivity displayed by the owners and their choice to carry this kind of merchandise. I cannot support a business that makes money off of such items.

Nice worker. Didn't find anything calling to me specifically this time, but good selection.

Pretty cool vintage store with a variety of items. You can spend about 30-60 minutes going through everything.

I enjoyed walking around this store. The antiques were neatly displayed as oppose to messy and littered.

We purchased a grandfather's clock and gave them a 100 year old cuckoo clock for repair in 2022…read more Roy lost our clock. I have made numerous attempts to find it, offering to come up and id it, and have gotten no response from Roy and nothing but excuses from Carol. DO NOT TRUST THEM with your family heirlooms. The grandfather clock had to be repaired by my brother. sadly, Roy doesn't have the knowledge or skills do do it correctly, and the other cuckoo clock we had him "repair", has never kept time. There is a reputable clock repair shop in San Mateo on El Camino at 25th Ave that knows what he is doing, and we will go there from now on. In terms of our lost clock, I even asked if we could pick one from the shop to replace it, again, no response. I will be reporting this business to the State of CA, and will probably end up suing them. Save yourself the aggravation and don't do business with them.

When I finally got Carol on the phone she said that Roy took the clock HOME to work on it. It is now October 2025. I finally talked to Carol and told her I will drive to their HOME to pick up my property. UPDATE: I went to their home and retrieved my clock. There were 8-10 other clocks in random bags/boxes that have not been touched. I caution anyone looking for clock repair to read the reviews before going to this vendor.

I started searching online but couldn't find anything close to what I had in mind. Then I remembered the antique shop near my old apartment, the one run by such lovely people with an amazing eye for beautiful pieces. So I went there, hoping to get lucky. As soon as I walked in, I saw many lovely mirrors, but none that matched the one I'd been imagining. Just then, Howard asked if I was looking for something specific. I told him about the mirror I'd been dreaming of, and he smiled and said, "I just bought one like that." He showed me a photo on his phone, and it was the one. He told me it would arrive on Monday, but I was leaving town for work and worried I might lose my chance. Howard kindly promised to hold it for me until I returned. When I came back, I hoped he had kept his word, and he had. There it was, waiting for me: the gorgeous Victorian mirror I'd dreamed of all my life. Not only did he keep his promise, but he also gave me a generous discount, saying that the mirror was meant to be mine. They delivered it to my second-floor apartment with great care and professionalism. I absolutely love it and feel so grateful to Antique & Art Exchange SF for helping make a lifelong dream come true.
