She was able to do everything I asked and more. Her work is exceptional and her pricing is very fair. My wedding dress was the center and the highlight of my wedding for me (besides the groom OF COURSE) and I couldn't have had that dream come true without her. She even had lots of good advice and suggestions for other aspects of my wedding. She's like a fairy godmother! You must meet her. I cannot recommend her enough.

Her studio is beautiful and really makes you have that special bridal moment when you try your dress on for the first time in front of the mirror. She is very knowledgable of fabrics, new and vintage, and has an incredible vision for the potential a dress holds while also keeping its integrity and meaning. I am so proud of my dress and how she was able retain much the history and look of the original dress, while also capturing my personality and reflecting it perfectly. I am lucky to have found Betsy, and wouldn't trust anyone else with such a special and fragile dress. I will cherish her work and her friendship forever. Thanks Betsy!

We spent about $5,000-$6,000 there. But about 90 days later, one of the couches burst a hole out of the bottom and all the stuffing is shooting out. We don't have pets, and our kids aren't allowed to play on these couches. They've seen nothing but normal use. The fabric just failed and unfortunately Downeast was not willing to help after only having them for about 3 months. I didn't even request a refund or return. I just asked that they assist in getting it professionally repaired. They were very nice in how they communicated, but made it clear they would not offer anything to help. I wouldn't recommend anyone purchase furniture from here. The styles are great, and the employees are nice, but I don't feel you can trust the quality or the company to stand behind their products.

I like this location better than the Draper location, although it feels a little smaller. They have…read morea good selection, however, and on my most recent visit I was able to find several interesting items. As usual I didn't purchase anything large like furniture (the majority of their offerings), but I always have fun checking out their other offerings, especially kitchen oriented ones. I purchased a really nice cast iron grill pan, some French cake molds, a cold-smoking contraption, Microplane grater, and a super comfy pillow. The fun thing about Downeast, at least as far as these sorts of items go, is that you never really know what you'll find. They have a very weird mix of kitchen accessories, but many of them are items you might not find anywhere else, except maybe a specialty store, and even then... They do have lovely furniture, and I think the prices are reasonable, and in line with any of your other furniture retailers, while managing to be more visually appealing, and generally of high quality (although it is an Outlet, so check that there isn't any damage before making a purchase). They also have a good selection of linens, blankets, etc. Lastly, they carry clothing and accessories, but I've never really checked that out, so can't really speak to the quality or price. The employees are always very friendly and pleasant. They usually have an extra 30% off clearance items, although it never seems to be advertised. I think they also always offer some sort of percentage off monogrammed items. It's not the greatest store, but it's worth checking out every once in a while.

I'm really disappointed with my experience here due to pricing and lack of transparency…read more I was initially charged $200 to disassemble my forks. When I later brought them back already fully disassembled and provided all required parts, I was charged $412 just for reassembly, plus an additional $35 in "parts" charges, despite the fact that all parts used were my own. In total, this came out to around $700 for the disassembly and reassembly of forks that were already OFF the bike. That pricing simply does not make sense. I've previously worked in a motorcycle shop and as a service writer, so I'm familiar with standard labor practices. Reassembly typically takes less time than disassembly, and when customers provide parts or bring components in pre-disassembled, labor time and parts charges are usually reduced. None of that was reflected here. I was never given a clear shop labor rate, the receipt was extremely vague, and when I asked for clarification on how the charges were calculated, I was not provided any meaningful details beyond "that's just how we do it." For a professional service shop, this lack of transparency and the final cost feel unreasonable. Customers deserve clear labor rates, itemized receipts, and pricing that reflects the actual work performed. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I would not recommend this shop.

The staff I've interacted with have all been professional, friendly, and helpful. Right now as they're still in the process of finalizing everything with the remodel and the new lineup, things are a little hectic and not everything is in stock, but they've done their best and have ordered more than a few parts for me already. I also had a concern with my bike and wanted it looked at before I took it out on a week-long trip. They were super busy and still managed to squeeze it into a bay for a small adjustment to help me out. Ask for Chris if you need parts - great guy to work with.
