Vingen Bar is stunningly located along the water on some sorta beach thing. I think it's considered the modern art museum's restaurant. When you are sitting outside you get a view of the water and a few post-modern structures. If the weather is warm there will probably be a bunch of people sunbathing outside. The menu includes coffee and tea and a few pastries and sandwiches. There was a chicken sandwich and an aubergine sandwich when I was there but I have no clue if that is always true. There's also a full menu that you can order more substantial dishes if you're hungry. This menu includes things like mussels, mac and cheese, and sticky ribs. All the flavor combinations are really playful. Their presentations are beautiful and look like a piece of modern art, themselves. I got the lamb sticky ribs and they were very vibrant and bursting with flavors. I really liked the salad it came with because it was very fresh and a good contrast to the very rich and fatty sticky ribs. The menu said the dish was supposed to come with hummus but the man at the counter where I ordered told me that they swapped the hummus for a celeriac puree which was also creamy and yummy. The surrounding town area of this museum has a plethora of exciting restaurant options but I haven't been to them so I don't know what they taste like. What I do know is that this is a good option. read more
