This isn't a five star hotel but for a well priced motel on the vineyard it's 5/5! Great service, clean rooms and a perfect location! We will be back! The one bedroom "apartment" was roomy and perfect for a family. The other rooms are standard size and as you would expect.

    Knife provided in the room

New management really needs to work on customer service skills and being respectful to guest. I only revisited because I had a great experience the year before and didn't have to look for staff when something is needed or a question was to be asked. When a question was asked this recent visit I received nothing but rude remarks from the manager and she even screamed being unprofessional on the phone. I was not given noticed on the construction going on next door so my stay was a bit noisy. No apologies or any warning at all. Clear communication on needed information during my stay was not provided. The pots and pans that are provided in the room were filthy and of course there were no one to really reach out too!

    Private beach!

There were so many adorable details, I wish I had taken more photos. Inside, there's tea available all day, and free breakfast in the mornings. The spa is embedded right in the hotel, and when you're a guest using the amenities is seamless. You can easily get into an exercise class, like Zumba or yoga, or use the pool and the saunas- there's one with hot dry heat and another with steam. When you get up to your hotel room it feels more like you're in some kind of time capsule. They have kind of an exhibit of historical objects from the area. Then the room is kind of effortlessly elegant, in that unique New England-y way- just nice furniture, great materials in the bed sheets and whatnot, and some spiffy flair- like a luxurious tub with a huge tabletop for putting bubble bath, salts, spa essentials, maybe a bottle of wine?, and an outdoor terrace for having a light breakfast in the morning (put some fruit in your mini fridge, from the morning or from a market nearby). Five out of five experience.

The amenities were pretty basic and the facilities were dated. Perhaps the hotel side is nice, but the spa needs a bit of renovation. I don't plan on returning anytime soon.

Great Anniversary Trip to MVY…read more My spouse and I recently celebrated our anniversary with a stay at Nobnocket Boutique Inn, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, Simon and Annabelle made us feel genuinely welcome. Their hospitality was warm, personal, and one of the highlights of our visit to Martha's Vineyard. The inn itself is immaculate. We stayed in Room 3, which was a small, well-maintained room. The room had a comfortable shower, plush robes and slippers, and a clever locker-style cabinet that provided plenty of secure storage for clothing and valuables. Every evening, we returned to find a delicious snack waiting in our room...A thoughtful touch that made each day feel special. Breakfast each morning was outstanding and served on one of the inn's two lovely outdoor patios overlooking the beautifully landscaped grounds. Every breakfast included a fresh yogurt parfait, juice, hot tea, and a wonderfully prepared main course. One unique touch we looked forward to each morning was the complimentary ginger wellness shot. The grounds are peaceful and beautifully maintained, with a large lawn, comfortable lounge chairs, and plenty of places to relax. We even enjoyed watching local wildlife, including colorful birds coming to the bird feeder and several wild turkeys that wandered nearby, adding to the charm and tranquility of the property. During the week, the inn also offers morning yoga, which is a wonderful way to start the day before heading out to explore the island. The location is another major advantage. Nobnocket Boutique Inn is about a quarter-mile from Main Street in Vineyard Haven, making it an easy walk to restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. Just across from the Steamship Authority office is the Vineyard Transit Authority bus stop, which was a free seasonal shuttle service connecting you to popular destinations across the island, including Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, and other areas of Tisbury. The highlight of our stay came on our anniversary. Simon and Annabelle surprised us by placing a chilled bottle of champagne and champagne glasses in our room. It was such a thoughtful, unexpected gesture that made our celebration even more memorable and perfectly reflected the genuine care they show every guest. If you're looking for a boutique inn that combines exceptional hospitality, beautiful surroundings, outstanding breakfasts, nice amenities, then Nobnocket Boutique Inn is an outstanding choice. We left feeling relaxed, celebrated, and looking forward to returning.

Definitely returning. Thank you Annabelle and Simon.

We appreciated the thoughtful details around the room like the warm towel racks, the homemade oatmeal and coconut cookies, the bottle of wine that was left in the fridge (which we most certainly drank!). The property itself was well manicured and beautiful, and the homemade breakfast was to die for. We were given great suggestions for things to do as well which we took advantage of on our last day and we're so glad we did. On our last morning we let them know we were leaving early for the airport and they dropped off homemade strawberry scones which were the perfect on the go breakfast for our ferry ride back to Woods Hole. If you're looking to experience a clean and inviting place with 5 star hospitality, Charles and Charles is a must!

The owners are actually from LA so we connected about that, and they actually took us to the ferry on our last day as we went to Nantucket. The only tip I would have though is to bring earplugs because the beds are so comfortable you will hear snoring from your neighbours :)

They were very nice to bend their 3 day reservation rule and allowed us to stay for two days. We paid ~ $250/night including tax. Location is good, about a 5 minute walk from the dock along main street. However, I did see some B+B's with better locations once I arrived to the island. I guess this is why you have to be 'in the know'. We stayed in the Americana Room with a private bathroom. Bathroom door opens to the hall way and the lock did not work making us a bit nervous every time we had to use the bathroom. The room had one queen size bed and a side bed. The side bed was too lumpy and uncomfortable. Breakfast is included but meh.. it's just cereal or stale bread/bagel and a few pieces of fruit. Coffee and yogurt is also on the table but they are both the weak and flavorless kind. The cleaning staff was very nice but kinda pushy with the tip. Deliberately leaving two envelopes for tip in visible areas. All in all, it was ok because I got to experience a 'traditional american B+B' but I wouldn't go here again unless I'm in a pinch.
