What a sweet hidden gem! If I could give an extra GOLD STAR to Vines at Vail Winery, I would because the service and value were exceptional! My two friends and I each got a flight of 3 wines and they were very nice sized pours. We all enjoyed our wines, but the favorites (and bottle purchases) were the Malbec, Sangiovese, and Zinfandel. The ambiance is awesome! It was a beautiful day, so we sat at the exposed bar (wild west themed) and was quickly greeted by Patrick and Jordan. They were so friendly! They felt like long-time friends! Patrick poured us each a taste of a Sangiovese that wasn't on the menu and it was great (which is why we both ended up buying a bottle). We also had pizza with Patrick's secret ingredient - a drizzle of balsamic glaze - YUM! We didn't get the charcuterie board but another patron had it and it looked very, very good! Customer service was seriously exceptional! They were friendly, personable, and helpful. I felt like they genuinely wanted to get to know us and they genuinely wanted us to leave happy. They even told us about upcoming events they are having at the Winery. Value is super reasonable too. The flight of 3 was $18 (and again, Patrick hooked us up with a few more tastes) and the bottles are approximately $35 each. I can't wait to come back and bring my mom and sister. This is seriously my favorite yelp review I've written to date. This place is super special!

I came here to try out the wines and enjoy the scenery after a long day of hiking in the area. We drove up to the ranch, which also had a lot of other activities such as excursions and rock wall climbing, and parked in the guest area. The winery area is mainly outdoor seating with the bar also outside. Anthony, the man that served us, was also the wine maker and very friendly and quick to give insight and information on the wines. I really enjoyed the white wines they had, and I typically prefer reds! The cost was very reasonable for the in flight and Anthony was quick to check on us. It did get very hot on the patio but we were able to open the umbrellas and that wasnt the winery's fault, just something to keep in mind if you're planning a visit. I'd recommend a stop in!

Tasty and unique wines, we especially loved the Syrah ! The patio is great on a sunny day with views of the mountains . Nice food options as well for lunch or a snack.

    Our sad wine flight.

Don't drive 24 miles past Vail for this wine (or what they are trying to call wine) The drive to this location is beautiful, the location, however looks like a old western movie set with little indoor seating. The view of the mountains we the only highlight of the winery.

Stopped by on a road trip back from Vail Colorado on a Sunday. Entered a small dusty ranch, pretty views of the surrounding mountains. Seating is outside only. I was the only person there around noon. Not very lively. Wines were decent. A little pricey, $15 for 3 tastings and $23 for 5 with no option to put that towards a purchase of a bottle. A fair selection of reds, a few whites. Sourced from Northern California. Two stars for the awful reception. Jill was terribly uninviting with hostile vibes. Was so antsy she didn't even stick around longer than was needed to take the order and bring back the wine. If you're passing by, could be fun with a group to just drink and enjoy the views. Given the lack of hospitality and mediocre wines you might be better off going to a bar.

Such a wonderful place! Patrick and Stacy were welcoming and hospitable, we just happened to stop in on our way to Vail. The wine is EXCELLENT with sweet mom and pop stories of how they got started. We had a great experience and can't wait to come back next time we visit :)

We stumbled into this place totally by accident without realizing that this was the old Metropolitan - and we felt incredible to have rediscovered the place again after the name change. The menu is almost unchanged from the Metropolitan days - still awesome tacos (lobster, chorizo, carnitas), still awesome bacon stuffed dates, still awesome flatbreads. The wine list is good, the service is great. Somehow the place was more crowded before the name change - I felt a bit sad to see the place half-empty this time, whereas last time we had to wait for a while to get a seat even on an off-season dinner night. I hope their business picks up - the place is really a 5 star establishment.

The restaurant is spacious and seating are comfortable, really friendly staffs. We start off with a bottle of bubbly to go with the meat and cheese plate. The server was really nice to notice that I don't like goat cheese, he brought out some manchego for me. With that said, service was great. After that, we order New England Lobster Roll and Papperadelle Wild Mushroom Ravioli to share. For supposedly small plate, they were not stingy at all. It was a lot and we couldn't finished. However, the food was just so-so. I really wish it was better. Food wise 2 stars, adding 1 star for good service.

You can tell they really care about what they're building here. The wine selection is excellent, and their flights are a steal at just $14. They also offer meads, mulled cider, and an entirely new food menu that pairs perfectly with the drinks. There's clearly a lot of thought going into the experience now. We also heard a new deck area is coming soon, plus plans for a paella night--which honestly sounds amazing and gives us even more reason to come back. If you haven't been to Snowy Peaks recently, it's absolutely worth another visit. They're doing great things and it's becoming a must-stop spot in Estes Park.
