My mother stayed at Vineland Post Acute from January 10 - April 17. Everyone was extremely thorough and friendly. I have already recommended this facility to others. We had bad experiences in the past with other nearby facilities. They were dirty and some of the staff were very nasty. Not here. Mother-in-Law was released to this facility after a short stay in the hospital. Place was terrible. Remote for her TV did not work, the team there did not get her medication dialed in for many days, and no one came over to talk to her or my wife until we decided to move her (at our expense). once we decided to move her it was all hands on deck. They suddenly became responsive and communicative, but too late. I recommend Lake Balboa if you need a good rehab place. read more

I had a very good experience here when I stayed for just over three weeks with a fractured bone in my hip. The staff are friendly and supportive. The physical therapists are knowledgeable and helpful. There's a lovely outdoor area where the residents can spend time or visit with family and friends if you have to be in A. My fiancee was here for 2 months. Nurses were very good, The physical therapists were very good. The head PT person really didn't know how well he was doing and told us he would need 24 hr care. That wasn't true. He got home and is doing amazing. read more

The facility is a Rehab & Care Facility but i see the opposite of it, i see neglect for the elderly, not aware of their actual needs, not trained properly or guided with there hearts & compassion for every single patient that is in this facility, nor good communication from management, nurses or care takers, i highly recommend All loved ones to really go in & check how poorly the elderly are being treated especially the night shift but also the morning shift it breaks my heart to see & hear how no one in this facility listens to the pain & suffering the elderly are going trough All Family's Shoul be concern & ask your love ones how they are really being treated and Believe them read more

My sister always had positive comments regarding this facility. She said the food was very good . The nurses were great. The staff was also very much involved and willing to give her all the answers that she needed on top of the Physical Therapy that she said was the best she had ever received her physical therapy she said was customized for her needs for the areas of her body that needed to be strengthened. She said she was very happy with this facility. And would happily return if she needed this type of therapy. read more

The physical therapist and occupational therapist are absolutely fantastic. The food is good actually and they really do their best to talk to you personally on what your personal needs are and they come to your room and discuss it with you. The nurses and the help that you get from the people who work there is really caring and wonderful. The place itself is of yesterday and needs a lot of fixing and repair. It's archaic and needs an overhaul. The equipment raising the bed and lowering it doesn't work due to old broken equipment and you can't open your windows because the windows are stuck. They are also under staffed with nurses who change diapers and help you. If it hadn't been for the physical therapist and occupational therapist, I would not have stayed there. The office tries to help you as much as possible. And they are caring. They have a lovely outdoor sitting. read more

Our family member was in another facility in the Bay Area. His treatment was languishing and his care was all but non-existent. He was not monitored properly and ended up injuring himself. After a surgery we elected not to return him to that nursing facility and instead he moved down to LA, closer to us to start his rehab. I share all of that backstory, because the difference between the care of these two facilities couldn't be more radical. At Vineland Post Acute my family member was treated with regular, excellent care. Rather than one overworked, scattered and disorganized physical therapist, Vineland Post had two or three people helping him daily. They devised a plan that brought my family member's strength back as well as his mind. We had thought we were going to lose our family member to mental and physical atrophy and instead, Vineland Post Acute provided a treatment plan that changed their life. Literally. Today, my family member lives happily in a nearby assisted living place, all because Vineland Post. Additionally, the administrative team and the social worker were world-class. I know my first experiences with a skilled nursing facility was a nightmare case and the bar was super low, but I'm confident there are few places on the earth that have such care and intentionality from social workers, therapists, doctors and nurses. read more

Very good quality! They have enough staff and there's not too many people. One thing they could improve is to remodel the facility, it's a little old and the outlets have some issues. But everything else is just perfect! I very highly recommend you send a loved one that's sick to this facility. The staff are very nice and friendly people, and the cooks make good food. My grandpa is recovering here, and I've had a very good experience! It's way better than Royal Palms, always go to Vineland Post Acute if you or a loved one needs a nursing home to recover in! read more

The quality of care is consistent and excellent. The kitchen staff, activities staff, nursing assistants, nurses, caseworkers and all others are attentive, respectful, kind and supportive. The OT and PT departments will educate you as well as assist you with recovery exercises. read more

My Father has been at this facility for 2 years, after transferring from another (horrendous) facility. Our family's experience here at Vineland has been nothing short of AMAZING!! The staff is very welcoming, patient and caring. My Dad is so happy here, he feels like he's home. They cater to their patients and host different activities and celebrations for the patients. I love that all the residents are involved and not forgotten or left alone in their room with no care at all. CNA Maria has been such a sweetheart, the patience she has for my Dad has to be appreciated. I know my Dad is in good hands here. read more

The activity lady (the one that teaches "spanish" to the patients) is one of the RUDEST ladies i have came across. All she does is sit on her phone talks to her friends while the patients just sit there and stare at her. She always has something to say or complain about. The rest of the staff is GREAT!!! The Medicare review gives this place a 5 star review. It is well deserved. My wife was at another location that was awful. So I have a little experience and something with which to compare Vineland. The intake staff was johnnie-on-the-spot and helped in getting the transfer completed. My wife liked the food. The kitchen is near the entrance and I could smell the food during its prep. It always smelled good. The physical therapy staff was attentive and helped my wife start the rehabilitation with a lot of care. The facility is relatively small and I think this helps their ability to care for their patients. Kudos to Vineland Post Acute. read more

My sister has been staying at Vineland Post-Acute for about 5 years now. All the nurses and staff are so gracious and instrumental to my sister's stability. Julieta Escen is an outstanding Director of Recreation who has taken care of my sister's special needs, from picking out her Halloween costume to arranging special birthday celebrations. This facility has always prided themselves with lots of fun activities for the residents. Erick Aguilar, the Social Services Director as well as Anna Bakalian in the Business Office have truly been remarkable. All the nursing Staff have treated my sister extraordinarily patient and loving. My family is eternally grateful for everything they provide not only to my sister but to all the residents there. This facility is very clean, and orderly. It boasts a modernized therapy and exercise room where I've encouraged my sister to fully take advantage of. read more

The Staff is very caring to the needs of the patient which gives them an above average review from us. They are understaffed at times, but very polite and caring overall and do respond to phone calls and emails. The amenities are run down a bit and could use some upgrades and fresh paint. Good luck using the Guest internet and watching their provided over-air TV stations, it's just painful in these modern times. You ask how important is that, trying staying in bed for a week and having little to no internet and poor TV quality. Following the CDC guidelines for COVID protocols is a little awkward, they let a few things go, but are strict on other things, it's either all the way, or skip it completely. They could use a cleaning crew to mop up and keep the facility smelling "hospital like", as the ventilation is poor, but to be expected as the facility has been there a while. Again, the staff keeps this place in good graces, the facility badly needs upgrades! read more
