Prickett's offers a lot full of beautiful and fragrant freshly-cut trees including Douglas, Fraser, Noble, and Nordmann in a variety of sizes. I think we got a Douglas Fir this year - it was the most perfect full shape, the prettiest shade of green, and the best smelling! Thanks to the team for re-educating us each year on the different types of trees. While they wrapped the tree, we explored the other holiday goodies (garland, wreaths, ornaments, and more!). We stopped by on a cold and wet day earlier this year and ended up getting a Fuji apple tree, a small fig plant, a nectaplum spice zee tree and an aprium flavor delight tree. There are rows upon rows of different kinds of citrus and fruit trees. We didn't go to the other areas of the nursery because we already planned out ahead of time what we wanted. If you need help loading your goods to your car the staff is available to give you a hand. My husband even emailed them some questions about the condition of the trees after we planted them and they got back to us with lots of helpful information. I recommend checking them out!

Dragonfly is a local treasure!…read more It's a flower farm, full florist, and flower stand. A friend inspired me to stop in recently, to buy some stems from their self-serve flower stand. If there's not a staff member around, it's an honor system: leave cash or pay by Venmo. My (quince, I think) stems were mostly buds and now they've been blooming beautifully for the past 2+ weeks, adding cheer to our space. Excited to see what stems they have when I visit next!
