We waited for about 20 minutes, and the waiters seemed to be quite efficient in securing a rapid turnover. Both of the two waiters that tended to our table were very nice, professional and attentive - on opening a bottle of prosecco for us (we were celenrating ;), one of the waiters managed to spill a small piece of cork in the glass, but he promptly went to fetch another, and came back with a full glass. We chose the most popular burgers, the Boss and the Umami, along with fries, truffle fries, aioli and chili mayo. The burgers had enough different components to be interesting, but yet not so much that they could not be eaten the proper way (that is - with your hands, not using cutlery). The meat was grilled and succulent, and the flavours were very well combined. We were served ketchup, mustard and tarragon mayo on the side, so that each could adjust the amount of sauce to taste (I like a lot of sauce). If I had to criticise the burgers at all, I would say that I would prefer a slightly thicker patty that was a bit less well done. I also like fresh veg on my burger (which my burger did not have), but they have a variety with lettuce and tomato on the menu, so I could have chosrn that one. The fries, however, are beyond any criticism. They were perfectly crisp and fatty, well salted, sufficiently thick-cut, and served with your selection of sauce (which for us was aioli and chili mayo). The truffle fries had a subtle, but sufficient taste of truffle, and were sprinkled with fresh parsley. After the burgers and fries, we decided to share the two desserts on the menu along with a chocolate shake (they use Ben & Jerrys ice cream). The chocolate fudge cake with ice cream, candied walnuts and raspberry mousse definitely stole the show with its decadent intense chololatey flavour. The deconstructed berry crumble with lemon curd was good, but there was no taste of the advertised cardamom in the crumble, and it was simply not as exciting as the chocolate cake. We left feeling extremely full, but very happy and satisfied with our meal. I'm happy that Majorstuen has finally got its own "hip burger joint", and hope that Kverneriet stays for a long time!

It's not fancy but it probably got the best exterior I've seen on a street food stand in Scandinavia. So let's look inside it got a few seats if you want to eat there but by the amount of seats it's obviously a take away place. But it still look good. Time to say something about the food. I had the bbq burger with fries. The burger tastes great and you can see that it's good meat in the burger and home made or that's at least what I think it is. The burger it self tastes great and so do the fires. It's also not the usually thin and small fries, these are about thinker and tastes good but have a great crispness that always is good and ads something if you ask me. Would I recommend this place? Yes.

That familiar grill smell of a good burger.  I orderd a "HQ Blue-Cheese" and some fries and sat down to wait.  There arent much room here, just 5 bar stools but I guess with summer comming there is places outside to sit. The fries came and had a taste of homemade but the cheap kind, not the fancy stuff you get at most other places. But all and all it is good enough for eating but the price is to steap, purhaps if they served some dipp to it it would be worth the cost. The burger it self was fresh and good. More then I expected and do easy rival "Illigal Burger". The bun was fresh and would have been perfect if it was just a bit biger so that the patty wouldent slide out so easy as it do. I couldent notice any of the caramilized onion and I forgot that I would have any until afterwards so I am not even sure it had any. The rest of the vegitables was fresh and crisp and there is nothing special to say here, vegitables was vegitables. So all and all? It is a good burger and if it wasent for the high price I would probably stop by more in the summer, but seeing on how close this is to"Kverneriet" I do belive that I will only go to "HQ BRGRS" if there is a long waiting time at the other place. Uppdate: Okey, so I had a week of work and was at home most of that week, and I have to admit I ordered from this place two times during that week. I have now tried all the burgers from here and I have to change my grade. I am defenetly a fan. The blue cheese is the best of them but the fact that I can get it deliverd home is a big plus.

However, for some strange reason, hamburgers are supposedly popular in Scandinavia, and are usually the cheaper option. We were really hungry and ended up here after a really busy day exploring this city. I got a cheeseburger here, and after putting some lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup and a little mayonnaise, it was a very juicy burger, combined with the softness of the bun. The price was fairly reasonable for Norwegian standards, it was less than 150 NOK. The fries here are decently good and have a nice crisp. Another good choice is their kebab platters, and I also think the prices are also reasonable. We sat by a nice glass window, and you could do some "people watching" from there. The people who worked there were fairly nice, but you might have to speak in the simplest English words possible. Overall, if you are looking for a somewhat inexpensive and simple lunch/dinner in a good location in Oslo, this place might be a good choice. I don't think it is an amazing restaurant in a city like Oslo, but you can get your stomach full without spending too much money.

The falafel looked very good as well, and I wish I had ordered it in addition to my meal but I'm sure my stomach would have exploded if I had.
