I have some 24" rims and unfortunately one had about a 3 inch crack on the outer lip/spoke going into the hub part of the rim. I called one place right before I contacted Vince's Custom Welding and they told me the position of the crack was not good, unsafe & they couldn't fix it. Disappointed, I kept looking and that's when I came across Vince's Custom Welding. I looked at the pictures on his site and read the reviews that his customer's wrote. It was all very positive reviews so I decided to give him a call. I explained to Vince what the crack looked like and where it was positioned on my rim. I also mentioned to him that I had just spoke with the other shop I called before him and they said it was to unsafe and couldn't fix it. At a time when most people and businesses are using the Covid virus as an excuse for poor service, it was refreshing to find Vince's Custom Welding, and get not only real accommodation, but close attention to my need for some creative redesign, on a Scooter carrier I had just bought. Vince listened to my need, my thoughts, pulled up a chair, then drew some sketch's of what he gleaned from my descriptive comments. I returned in a couple hours and found the completed job even better than what I had approved. "I made a couple small changes on our plan", he said. I had an aluminum rim welded/fixed by BENT RIM IN LANCASTER CA. It was done less than a year ago. It cracked again in the same area.......so I was charged $120. Guy said he would warranty it too. So when I brought it back. He said oh you fucked this rim up bad etc..... I baby my car and know I didn't cause it to crack again. One word review... Awesome! Vince saved my cracked aluminum motorcycle frame from the scrap pile with a full 360 degree weld for less than half the price i was quoted by another welder. And, he did it while I waited in less the a hour. So I nosed around his shop checking out his memorabilia. Who does 'While You Wait" nowadays? No one I know of, except Vince. 5 stars is an under statement. My friend referred me to Vinces, and I knew that if my friend is telling me to go somewhere it's top notch. I expected outstanding work. However what I got was not outstanding. It was near perfect! Looking at everything, you cannot even tell that a weld was even made, or the hole I needed drilled in a new location was even done. It looks like it was made that way! Extremely blessed to have had Vinces do this job! I'm very confident in his work. I found Vince's welding service online and I couldn't be anymore happy with his service. I gave Vince a call in the morning explaining that I had an aluminum fuel tank from a boat that had developed a leak on the bottom from years of chaffing on a broken fastener that had somehow found its way underneath the tank. I dropped the tank off in the morning and picked it up later that day. The repair was flawlessly performed and more than met my expectations. by far the best work i've seen! I brought Vince a very hard and challenging project. Vince was great. I actually came here for metal work (no welds). I wanted some pieces professionally cut and worked instead of me making crooked jagged cuts myself.
