I mainly come here for one dish; it's a gnocchi with trout, avocado in a creamy curried sauce. It's so unusual and actually DOES work.
The restaurant always gets busy - I guess they have their regular locals - and it has a warm atmosphere.
However ... I've only ever seen "kids" working there. They seem to be in their mid-late teen years, and that can be a disadvantage due to inexperience and not being as at ease talking to adults as adults would be. When asked how everything was one night, we received a "huh" when we mentioned that the food wasn't as ordered. That's not the type of response I expect or want. While waiting for the food to come out (an above average wait time), you can see the confusion on their faces as they try to deal with the increase of customer flow in there. They look like they're in a haze.
That being said, the food is quite good. It's not the fanciest of restaurants I've been to, but it's a good, safe go-to for a Sunday night dinner or just a nice family meal. read more
