If, i could give a zero on the this place I would ....horrible experience. Tailoring a negative star . I went twice to pick up my garment and when I picked it up is was nothing like I told the lady .. I put on my jacket it was short in the back and in the front it was high ...I asked to make buttons or something nice in the front to close my jacket ... it was horrible again .... she told me that it would be ready on Tuesday.... I came in on Thursday jacket not ready she was sewing it when I was there plus rudely helping other customers not my fault I had to wait an hour for a jacket that wasn't ready . This place does good I guess when it is something.simple like a prom dress or sewing on a button. I'm going to send this place to the better business bureau before I sue them ... I ha e never had a horrible job done if she couldn't do the work just say No I can't do it instead of taken the job on and messing up my experience. You will hear him me in court . I took my formal dress to get altered here.. all I heard was whining from the seamstress.. "oh lots of work needed, oh you need this you need that, bring me extra material, I'm going to need at least two weeks" I mean shouldn't she provide the extra material she's the seamstress!! Love this place! Been coming here for over two years and they always do a great job with my alterations. She is very friendly and quick too if you need it . But if you want rush service be prepare to pay for it because she is a busy person. Small location with two changing booths, few chairs to sit, and a big mirror for checking yourself in the lobby area. Lady behind the counter who would safety pin your alteration areas and a little side area where two people were sewing behind the booths. I came in to have a sportscoat and suit altered. Hem and arm length done. 60$ for those 3 items. While the work was alright, the size of the location is a struggle. If two people are in front of you, having work done, take a seat and wait. When I asked for how long the alterations on my stuff, the lady said two weeks. That was too long for me and asked for shorter time frame. She did accommodate and had the work done in about a week. When I came back to pickup my stuff, the garment bag I left with my suit was destroyed. The lady said the iron burned it on accident. Umm. Ok. She kind of shrugged it off but gave me a random, older garment bag to replace my new one that had holes on both sides. While this place did do the work fine, considering my garment bag got messed up, my clothing had lots of lint and random clothing fibers on it, and a very small location; not sure I'll be back for anymore suit alterations. My local dry cleaners did the same work, shorter time frame, and cheaper. read more

I Have used this place so many times in the past and the lady has never failed to do an excellent job. I have been meaning to write a review for the longest time and today I decided to do it....I took 2 identical dresses today to her shop, because I wanted to find out if she could used the material in the skirt from one of the dresses, to make the other one look like a maxi dress since they were beutiful but length too short for my liking (above the knee).....Unfortunately a friend of mine said it couldn't be done because there was not enough material.....Anyways, I went to Vincent's tailoring and she immediately assured me that she could do it, and that she could sew the material from one of them to the other one and that it wouldn't be so noticeable and she would even use the material from the sleeves of 2nd dress and my dress would achieve the lenght that I desired.....She is such an expert and does such a good job every time and super accomodating.... I know this place is called Vincent's but Tina is the one that will take care of you! I came here with my wedding dress and a jumper I needed some alterations for. The wedding dress needed to be taken in a bit and a bustle needed to be added. Tina told me straight up that she thinks a one-point bustle would be enough, and she was right. I'm so glad I came here and didn't get my alterations at David's Bridal. She's affordable too. The alterations for my dress were only 85 bucks! The jumper was 45 and I had quite a bit done to it. At first impression, the outside of the shop doesn't look that great. As a matter of fact, when you walk in, the place looks a bit run down. The dressing room door is kind of broken, the chairs are so worn out and the floors are stained, like dirty stained. HOWEVER, Tina, the expert tailor, is very talented. She does such a great job. She took in my jeans and made them look like natural skinny jeans. She brought in my husband's work shirts (since he lost weight) and they fit perfectly. The stitching on the shirt looked like he bought the shirt that way. She also altered my wedding dress and it turned out PERFECT! The designer of my wedding dress is Jenny Lee, so it was definitely a job for a trusted tailor. As a man, I'm very particular about how clothing fits me and I take my relationship with a tailor pretty seriously. After having a string of bad experiences with my previous tailor I decided to give another local shop a try. I called Vincent Tailoring on a Saturday morning and asked if they could tailor an oxford cloth button down shirt for me in the same day, having ready for an event that I needed to attend later that evening. The woman who runs the shop simply asked what I needed done and said that it would be no problem. I dropped by within the hour and tried on the shirt for her. After some conversation about fit, she pinned me up and I was on my way. I returned later in the afternoon to pick up my shirt. The shirt fit perfectly, there was no charge for the same-day alteration as far as I know, and the woman and her assistant were INCREDIBLY nice. Great customer service. I had repair work done here for my leather motorcycle jacket. After five days my jacket was ready and I must say that the work was fantastic! Great tailor! I first took my work dresses to My's tailoring and they ended up not being done correctly, with that said I was on the hunt to get my dresses now fixed and corrected. Found this place and they were able to fix them and do what my's tailoring couldn't! Who's Vincent... not sure but Tina is the artisan, but that is an understatement to the level of her expertise. As others on "yelp" might have mentioned that the location has its challenges, but I am never impressed by luxurious locations that do not match the level of service or merchandise they are selling. With that said, Tina's expertise far exceeds all my expectations. Her politeness and friendliness appears to be a genuine attribute that some would easily say is professionalism, but that would be an understatement. Professionalism can be taught, her kindness is pure and pleasant... We found Vincent Tailoring on "yelp" and the overwhelming comments outweighed all the other fancy reviews from other local shops in my area. I hope you can see from the attach picture that my wife and i purchased a very opulent dress for my Daughter's prom, but it was also going to be used for her graduation announcement pictures to friends and family. The dress was very pricey for our expense and it was the last one which also meant that it needed a lot of taking in. This extravagant dress was completely laced and had piping from top to bottom. i had some expectations of what needed to be done. Tina approached it without any concerns and after she went through pinning the dress you can easily see that this was going to be an enormous task. When we returned for the dress, my daughter was extremely happy with the fitting and the dress looked even better than we could have ever thought before considering going to a tailor (doing it ourselves). The cost was extremely affordable... how much, fractions compared to the cost of this opulent dress and let me say that i have paid more to have suits tailored. We left the length of the dress long for the photo-ops, as you could see in the picture, we would need to return again for another alteration of the dress. It was a bit dirty from the forest and Tina ask what we did with it. Tina was so much a part of the photoshoot success that i created a "yelp" account so i could share our story. This shop may seem small and dingy, but don't let the looks fool you! Tina is a great tailor. I have gotten jeans and a couple Halloween costumes altered by her. None of the items I have gotten done from her have torn or come apart after multiple uses. To top it off, she is quick, always on time, and prices fairly.
