No one ever spoke to me. No one addressed me and apologized for the wait or assured me that it would be a few more minutes. I kept thinking... I have insurance and I pay my bills. There must be a better doctor's office for me. I approached the window and told the young lady, I'm sorry but this is just not going to work for me. I've been here for almost 2 hours, and people that signed in after me have already been seen. And you not even address me, and apologized for the wait. You can tear up my paper work; I have no desire to be a patient in this office. Again, I have NO IDEA about Dr. Cuttingham. I never saw him. That's time out of my day that a waisted! Ugh!

My appreciation goes to all employees at Birmingham Neurosurgery and Spine, hospital staff at UAB St Vincent's DT, Radiology and Surgery teams. Suffering from severe pain in my left hip, I explained in detail my difficulties which set off a chain of events that set in motion care I received in lightning speed. I was diagnosed with L3-L4 disc rupture, placed in the hospital and was in surgery approximately 24 hours later. It's impossible for me to explain exactly how grateful I am for the care I received. Keep up the GREAT work !!!

As a 29 year old female with ingrown toenails (that I have put off doing anything about for years)…read moreI was very apprehensive about going to a podiatrist. One of my biggest concerns was wearing sandals in the future as I was fearful that my nails would end up botched post procedure. Therefore, I wanted to go to a female doctor who I hoped would better understand the value of aesthetics; which is why I initially selected Dr. Kirkland. Not only did Dr. Kirkland understand and value, aesthetics, but she and her staff surpassed all I could have hoped for with this experience. Dr. Kirkland and her staff (Mrs. Shelby and Dolly) were extremely empathetic, kind, nurturing, professional, gracious, patient, charismatic, and enjoyable to be around. Despite my nerves, they put me at ease by reassuring me, telling me stories, making me laugh, and talking me through every step that they were taking. The office played calming music and everything was very clean and well-laid out. The procedure was seamless and pleasant (outside of a quick spike of pain for the injection). Post procedure, I am very happy with the shape and amount of my remaining nail and I think the cuts were perfectly executed. I 100% recommend Dr. Kirkland and her staff for any podiatry needs you may have.
