This place is even cuter than the photos online. The room was large and incredible and so posh.
We checked in late (after midnight) and noticed a musty smell that had a hint of sewage. We complained at the front desk and went out for a bite. My friends and I were in adjoining rooms and we could smell it in both rooms. When we came back the front desk guy gave us some spray for the room. It got worse while we were gone. It was too late to change rooms so I sucked it up. It seemed even worse in the morning. It was like we were next to a sewage treatment plant. I had originally written this review as a one star, but then I found out (from the hotel) that this was just a product of Valencia when it gets hot in the summer, kinda like Venice. I tried to use the (separate) shower, and the drain was clogged. I used the shower in the tub with no curtain and got water EVERYWHERE, but that was my only option.
There was a giant frosted glass window in the bathroom, which I thought was nice at first, but with no door between the bathroom and bedroom, and no curtains, the light (and the smell) woke me up in the morning. The light was so bad that I had a hard time putting on makeup in the morning. read more
