I'm only giving one star to make a review. This is my second time coming & just like the first time. My toe has been messed up. They still charged me full price after messing up MY toe. I also asked the lady that did my eyebrows to not make them thin. She said "don't worry. I don't like thin." Guess what? They're thin. I'll never come back to this place again. Honestly shocked with all the bad reviews. I come to Vina Nails occasionally to get a manicure. I always book with Tiffany and she's lively and great at her job. She's very welcoming and always make sure to give you the best service. I usually get acrylics on my nails and they come out looking great for nail saloon manicure. They last me approximately 3 to 4 weeks which is very impressive. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I could . Horrible experience each time I go ! And can you believe it I went 2 times ! The first time coming to this establishment I actually got an infection on my nails . I was so upset and going back and forth I called the owner to tell them and it was a process of not trying to fix the situation. Then months passed I come back I have no idea why .... And they absolutely butchered my nails . The lady doing my nails paid no attention to me and was looking at customers coming in . I left paying absolutely no tip or anything due to how bad my nails came out . I am going back to take off my nails and am better off just doing them myself . I understand we are all in a rush to get things done and go to last min shops but please don't let this shop be on that list. Cleaning protocols are never followed . Very disappointed in customer service. I've been a loyal customers for years and the owner Lily would not honor my birthday coupon 2 days after it expired. My birthday was this past week, how does it expire in less than week? Also when they have you check in for the points you don't collect or earn any rewards. I honestly wish I could give this place zero stars. I texted and made an appointment with Jody for 6 and she responded saying i should come at 6:30. I come in 6:29 pick out my color for my pedicure and sit in the waiting area. No one acknowledged me when i walked in or when i sat down. Cool. It's now 6:40 and no one has said a single thing to me so i get up to put the nail polish away and walk out because why am I waiting if i made an appointment? Jody finally acknowledges me and says oh she didnt notice me and that she has the water ready for me. I go sit in the chair and put my feet in the water and PROCEED TO WAIT ANOTHER 20 MINUTES. At this point it is 7:02 and she finally starts on my toes and while shes working on my cuticles she cuts my big toe with one of her nail tools. First off no real sanitary procedures in place but just runs my toe over cold water and puts alcohol on my toe and doesnt do anything to properly clean the tool she sliced me with. This is when i finally tell her hey i will pay for whatever work youve done this far but i would really like to leave because im bleeding and this appointment started half an hour late. Shes trying to still work on my feet and im like once again please stop im bleeding and would like to leave. Shes like oh i said i was sorry, i made my other clients wait 30 minutes too and they were fine with it. This was the most trash nail service i have received in my life. It is so disrespectful to consistently waste people's time and think its acceptable and still provide subpar service. I will never come back here and i hope they either get new staff or close down altogether. If you guys are looking for a better nail salon I recommend Fashion Nails in Quincy, Pink and Pretty in Savin Hill, honestly... anywhere but here. read more

Well! I have never been to a place where they totally screw up your manicure and gel which changed color from one day to another and wanted to wait a week to fix it. With COVID-19 I did not feel comfortable entering the establishment to begin with so I was already skeptical of going back so I asked for a refund. They charged me $30 for a gel Mani, and only wanted to refund $16 in which I told them I paid full price and I did not get what I wanted. I also tipped the woman 45% so anytime on my service is irrelevant. I wasn't trying to argue in an establishment I did not want to be in any longer so I took the $20 and left. Although, it is two minutes from my house I'd rather travel to my old place which is 20 minutes from my home. Yea! Lol it's that bad. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

This place is the worst. I made an appt for dip manicure and a few days later my nails broke. wanting to be understanding I allowed them to fix the nails. I then went on 2 days later two more nails cracked. I called the owner to request a refund because I live in Boston and can not go back and fourth to this salon. (I came because my typical salon BOSTON NAIL SPA ) was closed due to the marathon. The owner- Lily then told me she would not refund me because the service was provided she then spent two days ignoring my calls and not fixing my nails. If you are wanting to make an appointment, I would highly suggest asking for a specific person when making that appointment. If you just say "who ever is available" when you get there at your requested time you may have to wait. It doesnt make much sense, but through trial and error I have learned this. I have been here a few times. I have always been with Amy, she is so sweet, the quality of the manicures and pedicures is great, I love the pedicure massages as well. I got my eye brows done here as well, and they were amazing, it took almost 30 mins, but she was so precise, and I loved them. Great experience! They did an excellent job with my nails. I got a mani and pedi. I was in desperate need of a good pedi cause my toenails were dirty after doing tough mudder and my feet had a lot of callus from running. They really cleaned up my feet and I loved the opi color I picked! The ladies were very nice, professional and welcoming. Only thing is that this place is a little 'cramped' feeling cause the salon seems small but with a lot of manicure stations and pedicure chairs. read more

Let me be clear, I will NEVER go here again. I had a relatively good experience when I went for a gel manicure and a regular pedicure when I compare it to the other customers around me. I was seen right away without an appointment at 4pm on Saturday. The woman next to me had a 3:30pm appointment and at 4pm she was still sitting with her feet in (now cold) water waiting for her pedicure. The place was packed and the manicurist couldn't keep up. I had "Nina," who was kinda but didn't speak a word of English. I'm empathetic, but this meant that when I told her what I wanted and what I didn't like, she couldn't understand me. She did a horrendous job hacking at my cuticles, over filed my nails until they were tissue thin, and applied the gel sloppily and inconsistently. All for $47!!!! They didn't even clean up the edges where the excess nail polish spilled... looks like a five year old did them. I got a regular pedicure, my lady was extra rough with my cuticles she kept ripping the cuticles instead of cutting them. After having a FABULOUS experience I had to write the review ASAP. I've been getting my eyebrows done here for 3 months now. I've been had many bad experiences with eyebrow waxing so to be coming to the same place for 3 months is exciting for me. Diana and Lily are the only people I will let do my eyebrows now. Their pedicure included a leg exfoliation which I was pleased about and she did a good job polishing my toes. I was looking for a place to do a french dip manicure on my natural nails. The woman who did my nails was not friendly. She only filed my nails, she didn't push my cuticles back or clip them. After she filed my nails she applied the dip. The french line is very uneven. I was charged $40 and they didn't even give me a manicure. I have been going to Amy at the salon for over 15 years even when Timmy owned the shop. My entire family goes to Amy. I have never received a discount for any service over the 15 years and to be honest, I was not looking for one. On any visit, I was paying for my mani:pedi along with my husband or daughter. Every two weeks was my routine, paying and leaving a tip. Went in the shop a week ago with my daughter and we both paid $64 for dip powder, mani and tip. Amy helped us as usual. My daughters mani/pedi did last any time. She went back to Amy to have them done again. Amy was busy so we went in today. I spoke with Amy and let me tell you, I have ever seen this side of her. Needless to say that she wanted us to pay again for an obvious defective job done the first time. I explained to her that we should not have to pay again for a job we were not satisfied with. She keep saying that she could not afford to do this job over again on her feet and hands. I am not happy as, is this how you treat your long time customers? She of course will not see me as a customer ever again. This is how you treat customers who pay and give you a $5-$10 tip on top and this is over 15 years? Not good at all!! read more

My nails are not fully painted, she was making phone calls while doing my nails, and not even 3 minutes later I had bubbles on majority of the nails. She said they were fine.
