Extremely friendly and helpful and they won't try to rip you off! Will be bringing my car back!

Vimar Auto Repair delivered exactly what you hope for--but rarely find. I purchased an all-original, unmodified 1995 Honda Accord Station Wagon with just 50,000 miles on it. A rare car, and one that deserved to be treated right. It needed a full round of attention--gaskets, plugs, wires, sensors, connectors, battery, belts--the kind of detailed work that can't be rushed or guessed at. I dropped it off and asked them to go through it bumper to bumper and make it right. They did exactly that. The result? The car runs like new--smooth, responsive, and reliable. You can feel the difference when people know what they're doing and take pride in doing it well. Let's be honest--it's hard to find people you can trust with any car. It's even harder when it's a 30-year-old classic that requires real knowledge, care, and attention to detail. Vimar Auto Repair earned that trust. We appreciate the craftsmanship, the thoroughness, and the value they consistency deliver --not just to this car, but to every vehicle we've trusted them with. In Vimar Auto Repair, we trust. read more

As a woman with little interest in learning about how vehicles work, I appreciate an honest auto shop that doesn't take advantage of my limited knowledge of car mechanics. Because of this, I'm cautious about recommendations from auto mechanics when they say I need something done. This shop saved me from spending $300-$400 on replacing my motor mounts, which another shop claimed I needed. What I actually needed was for another part on my vehicle to be tightened, and this shop only charged me for that. Now, four months later, I've had no issues at all. Ladies, you can feel confident trusting your mechanic here at Vimar Auto Repair. read more

Sam and his crew have been helping me for years. He runs a stand up business and where we bring our cars for repairs.

Fixed our car to perfection. We had a thumping noise in the front end. Sammy quickly diagnosed the problem, offered the best solution, and had our car fixed the same day. The cost was very fair, it was done right, and we are so happy with the results. These guys are great! Few more comments: The people who work there are knowledgable and friendly, and we highly recommend Vimar Auto Repair to our family and friends because we trust them to do it right the first time. read more

Vimar Auto Repair & Body - Auto Repair Near Me - Winter Park, Florida

Did amazing job on my body work. Over delivered. Extremely pleased. Would definitely recommend.

I've had a good experience with Sam and his team. They do a great job and make sure to get the job done. They are honest and fair. I've had engine and brake work done and they've done well and gone the extra mile to make sure they got it right. read more

I have two teenagers and two brand new Mazdas. A bad combination, because within a week of my kids driving, both cars had big dents and the front panels were detached from the body at the driver side front. After driving around with duct tape for a few weeks, a friend told me about Vimar, also known as Denny's Auto Body. They do all kinds of car repairs and also body work. Sam, the owner, greeted me as I drove up and checked out my CX-5. He gave me a quote and told me it would be a few days. He even arranged for a $25 rental car with the Hertz nearby. The car was done perfectly, with matching paint and it looks brand new. He even had it waxed and cleaned inside. I'm so impressed! He did the same for my daughter's Mazda 2. Both cars look great and I'm thrilled. No more duct tape!! read more

Vimar Auto Repair & Body - Sam is such a great guy- he made my cars look perfect! - Auto Repair Near Me - Winter Park, Florida

I have gone to Vimar Auto for paint & body work as well as engine work over the years and every time I go it's always been a very pleasant experience. The owner Sammy and all the Vimar Family are just fantastic. If you want a honest and the best price for any repairs, this is the place. Don't be taken for a ride with any other shops because you won't find one, especially after all this virus madness going on right now where people have enough on their mind. They use the best parts and best mechanics around. Do yourself a favor and go see Sammy, you will be glad you did! read more

Absolutely fantastic mechanic. As a woman I am deeply mistrusting when it comes to mechanics. However this shop has proven to me time and time again that it is beyond worth it. I felt taken care of and respected the whole time my car was being worked on. For anyone debating on where to bring your vehicle to look no further. It's 100% worth it. Samir even showed me where on my car needed to be fixed, which no one has ever taken the time to do for me. Without a doubt will refer every person I know to come to this amazing mechanic, especially women. Thank you for taking care of me! read more

Very nice, friendly, and fast! I visited for an inspection, they made the experience pain free.

They gave a maximum for the amount that the repair would cost and then was not informed of the extra charge until we showed up to pick up the car and pay. What is the point of a maximum cost if you do the repair anyway and charge more ??? Watch out. We had body work and the body work was done well. I just feel like it was a bait and switch expecting to pay more after the work has already been done read more

Took my older SUV to Vimar on the advice of a friend. I am so impressed by their great service! He kept the price low for the big repairs needed, and did a couple things that were more tweaks for free. The cost ended up way lower than my regular mechanic quoted back in MN. Wish I could bring Samir home with me! The way he diagnosed, estimated and repaired my car led me to trust him completely. read more

My husband and I moved to Orlando a couple months ago, and about 2 weeks in my car completely broke down while I was stuck up in Altamonte. It was acting up in a way that it had done in the past-- basically it just would just decide to not start up randomly in the middle of the day, and sounded like the starter had an issue. However, sometimes the problem would fix itself, and therefore many other mechanics had issues diagnosing what the problem was. Anyway-- After having my car towed by AAA to Vimar Auto Repair because my husband randomly found it on Yelp, it took about 5 minutes for Vimar to diagnose the EXACT issue with my car-- something that TWO other separate mechanics couldn't figure out for years! We were shocked! He fixed the issue and here I am, many months later, with a perfectly functioning car. My husband has started taking his car here as well. We really love Vimar-- he is honest and fair-priced. Just what you need in a mechanic! Thanks for your hard work! :) read more

I was sent here by a friend who uses Sam for everything auto related himself. I have now used Vymar for all of my auto repair and paint work over the last 10 years. I'm always grateful for the high quality at a reasonable price. They are not the cheapest but I prefer a solid repair for a fair price versus problems with a cheaper repair elsewhere. Great communication, very friendly and worked with my insurance company when needed. read more

My car became one with a covered garage pole that went from the front of the car all the way down the drivers side. Vimar handled all repairs and communicated, as needed, with the insurance company to insure all repairs were made. The work was done very well and car delivered in cleaner shape then it was dropped off. Will definitely return to Vimar when future work is required. read more

Vimar Auto did a spectacular job on my Mom's car after it was involved in an accident. For auto body repair, classic restoration, warranty and out of warranty service, Vimar is simply hard to beat. Friendly staff, integrity, and honesty abound, and the work is exceptional and a fair and reasonable price. Sam did as great a job repairing my Mom's 2006 Malibu as he did with my 2011 Boxster, my 1959 MGA Roadster, our 1967 GTO and our 1954 F250 farm truck. This guy does it all and I have been taking my cars to him since 1982. You will not be disappointed. read more

I was recommended to go to Vimar Auto from a friend over 10 years ago when I was a student. I didn't know much about cars then, and I didn't have a lot of cash. Samir fixed my car and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. Since then I've learned how to do my own car repairs, and I can vouch from having to buy my own parts and do my own repairs that Sammy will not overcharge on parts, and his prices on labor are good as well. I've probably been in to see Sammy around ten times. I've always felt his work was good, and every time I'm there, I end up meeting another longtime customer who is picking up a car. I don't earn a lot of money, and I have owned lots of used cars.. when I am in a pinch and can't make a repair myself, I take my car to Vimar Auto.. I don't know what I'd do without Sammy! I have recommended him to a bunch of friends! read more

Very professional, I have used them since 2002, got fastest services, and most competitive repair price for high quality work. Very pleased with this auto shop knowledge and friendly attitude. read more

Great service and quality work. I highly recommended Vimar. Samir, Marley, and staff work very hard. Many thanks to the entire Vimar family.

I've been using them for years, and have found them to be the best auto mechanic shop I've ever had. They're professional, fast and most importantly, their prices are really fair. Sam, the owner, is always extremely helpful! I highly recommend them. They've always fixed my car issues and they provide quality work (I disagree wholeheartedly with the other review). The last time I went I had a burned out tail light. They fixed it right away, and then wouldn't take any money for it!! While I would gladly have paid for that, it just shows where their heart is. They put the customer first. Thank God I never have to find another auto-mechanic, because as long as they're in business and I have a car, I will be using them for everything. read more

Vimar has been my mechanic for over 20 years. I trust him and he stands behind his work. I trust him so much he works on my Mom's car. In all these years he has correctly diagnosed any problems I've had with all the vehicles I've owned in that time. He charges a fair price for the work and really cares that they do a good job. Thank you. read more

On the recommendation of friends and neighbors, I've taken my car to this guy 3 times now, and he hasn't managed to do anything but take over $1000 from me. I still have the same electrical problem with the windows and door locks. I still have the same coolant leak. I still have the same check engine light and messed up throttle. He's a nice guy, but his work is trash. read more

Finally, an auto repair shop with integrity and kindness. Not only do they charge a fair price, they take the time to show you exactly what was done with the repair process. It's great being able to go to a place where you feel like there's transparency. Don't waste time and money going to a dealership for repairs. Give your business to an honest man who is supporting a family and working hard to make a living. read more

I have been taking my car to Vimar Auto Repair for over ten years, and I plan to keep using Vimar for all repairs on my car. I have also referred several friends to Vimar and they have become loyal customers. Sam, the owner, personally looks at my car every time I bring it in. I have always found his opinion to be trustworthy. I am an engineer, so I know how cars work and I have a pretty good idea when a mechanic is trying to BS me. Vimar always uses name-brand parts from the dealer. Cost estimates tend to be pretty accurate, the prices are very reasonable, and I have never felt that they were trying to "run up the bill" with a lot of unneeded maintenance work (which is a real problem with dealer service departments and many name-brand auto care places). The only issue I've had is that some repairs have taken slightly longer than what I was originally told-but not to an unreasonable extent. When repairing anything, parts may be delayed or unexpected problems may be found. Be aware that Vimar is a "no frills" operation. The shop doesn't look fancy, there isn't much of a waiting area, and there is no free courtesy car/shuttle. However, they will help you arrange a discounted rental car at a nearby agency (the agency picks you up and drops you off at Vimar). You might get "free" amenities at another shop, but you'll pay for them indirectly! Don't be fooled by the "one star" rating on Yelp. There is exactly ONE negative, one-star review on Yelp, but more than a dozen four- and five- star reviews are hidden for some unknown reason, and the hidden reviews are not used when calculating the star rating. read more

I'm not an expert on cars, so I called to ask a couple of questions about getting my battery replaced, and the woman who answered the phone definitely made me feel like an idiot. Told me to just go to autozone and buy my own battery. Guess you don't want my service, fine. The place probably has nice service, make sure whoever answers the phone makes people feel welcomed. Now I'll probably never come to this place. read more

I took my car here based off the great reviews the place has on google (5 stars) & it definitely lived up to my expectations! He did a great job fixing my car & even stayed late to get my car done that day since I needed it for work the next morning. He really saved me a ton of money & I loved that he explained everything to me. I really trust this guy & will definitely be taking my car there from now on! read more

I'm been going to Sami at Vimar for over 12 years now. He is, hands down, the best! Sami is honest, and a super nice guy. I have taken 4 different cars to him... and even bought a 5th from him (a beater pick up to pull a boat). He always does a great job, and at a fair price. He has 3-4 other guys that work for him... and have for a long time, so it's not always the same person that fixes my car, but Sami always stands behind his work. Recently my tenant went to a chain place - who quoted her over $1200 for a bunch of work. I told her to take it to Sami for a second opinion and Sami fixed everything that needed fixing for less than $300. You can always trust Sami to tell you the truth and (unlike some other places), he will never tell you stuff is wrong that isn't. I have met people at Sami's that have gone to him for over 20 something years... and he gets almost all his customers from referrals - I have referred over 20 people to him over the years and all of them still go to him. Once, one of his customers threw him a surprise birthday party and over 50 of his customers showed up. How many mechanics do you know that would have 50 of their customers show up for their birthday? Try Sami out - you'll be GLAD YOU DID!! read more

Vimar Auto Repair & Body - Yogi in my Jaguar on a trip to NY. Sami fixed this car several times for about half what other places would have charged. - Auto Repair Near Me - Winter Park, Florida

Sam replaced a rear quarter panel on my white Subaru and his work was completely flawless. Got several estimates and Sam's price was commensurate with the going rate. He is a perfectionist and honest. Would not go to anyone else. read more

EXTREMELY honest and trustworthy. A great mom and pop that stands behind their work. Excellent and fair in every way.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! Brought my car here after I was in a car accident and the other person's insurance recommended it. They took the entire insurance pay out to "replace the damaged parts." Later, I was in another car accident and they had to fix the same stuff. Turns out, nothing was replaced. Vicar had used all bondo and filler to patch the car up, but charged me for replacing all the parts. There was paint splatters on the inside of the car. Terrible work. Additionally, my car jack and pliers were missing from the trunk when my car was returned to me. I would not recommend this body shop to anyone. read more
