Review - I planned this for my birthday and I had such a fun time. Davina really walks you through the steps in an easy to understand way and shows you how to do each step on her own canvas. It was totally fun and doable for my friends who are not generally crafting people! The kids always come back asking to attend another class because they had so much fun, made new friends, and are so proud of their final art work. I am always surprised with the art work they come home with... the art is very creative, fun, and beautiful. I love that they introduce different materials (different paints, clays, etc.) and the kids really take ownership in their art work. We proudly display many of their art pieces and even send some to grandparents to enjoy. It's a cute little family owned branch located in the same plaza at Bad Ass Coffee/ Pitchers Sports Bar in Rancho Penasquitos. Ms. Alicia is the Principal/ Branch Owner. She exercises strong communication, is very approachable and kind, and coordinates great lessons (so there's new activities throughout the week). I also appreciate that she has a team of assistants to coordinate each class and to ensure the kids are supported. Most of all, she creates wonderful memories during the moments the kids are out of school (saving the sanity of parents balancing work). We only did 2 days as we had a lapse in our other summer programs. First, the staff were VERY friendly and welcoming throughout the entire day, from drop off to pick up. My kids loved the staff there. They love kids and have a true passion for the arts. Secondly, my kids loved their time there and learned a lot.
