Her presence does not reflect that of a caring educator or a capable leader. In contrast, the office manager and counselor have a far stronger and more positive presence on campus. I have yet to meet a parent who feels positively about the principal, which is concerning. The communication issues families experience stem directly from the culture she has created. She appears disengaged and uninformed, and her leadership style is more suited to an isolated administrative role than a school environment. While the teachers themselves appear decent, her leadership is steering the school in the wrong direction. Being a new school with newer teachers, the campus needs strong, stable guidance... not the disorganization and disconnect that currently exist. I genuinely believe a new principal would dramatically improve the school climate. Unfortunately, that change does not appear to be on the horizon.
