I requested to be seen, and asked if they had an x-ray machine because I think I have pneumonia. At first, I was lead to believe that I would be able to be seen as a walk in appointment. Then, I also explained I did not have traditional insurance, so could the receptionist tell me the cash price for both the doctor's appointment and x-ray. The representative then went into the back to discuss this with someone and then returned and said they would not be able to see me. The excuse began with "since I'm not an established patient, it would be better if I was seen by another facility down the hill." I have the full ability to pay for my medical care, but have been failed in the past by traditional insurance, so being self insured is a much better option for me. I have mentioned this to a couple of locals since the incident and they have been surprised and disappointed to learn of the way I was treated. Shame on Conifer Medical Center, and no, I will never be an established patient there now.

I particularly like that she asks about *all aspects* of our teenager's life to ensure that the child is healthy in body and in mind/emotionally too. I feel like we learn something from each doctor visit. We feel good coming here. She is thorough and checks out anything that we have questions on - as a mom, I appreciate that! I used to drive to Denver for pediatric appointments, I am so glad we have someone as caring, intelligent and wise here in Conifer. I trust her completely.

Dr.Turner is a not only extremely knowledgeable and experienced, but also caring and honest. She is a straight forward communicator and we love that about her. She is available 24/7 on the phone, which is so helpful to us as we are first time parents living in the mountains. Nurse Eva is also great, caring and personable. Overall, we are so grateful for having such a great pediatric office here in the mountains.
