I initially left a voicemail regarding my medication request and was promised a callback within an hour. I never received that callback, and my medication request was never initiated. When I called back to follow up, I received conflicting information. The pharmacy technician told me my medication would be ready Friday, while the pharmacist told me it would be ready today. Naturally, I wanted to understand why my request had not been processed and why I was receiving different information. Instead of answering my questions, the pharmacist was dismissive and indicated that he was above answering them. I repeatedly attempted to get a straightforward explanation, but my concerns were disregarded. What should have been a simple conversation about my prescription became an unnecessarily frustrating experience. I was not asking for special treatment. I was asking for accurate information, an explanation of the delay, and basic professional courtesy. Patients deserve to be treated with respect, especially when trying to access their medications. The lack of follow-through was disappointing, but the pharmacist's attitude and unwillingness to communicate were unacceptable.

While traveling with my diabetic cat, I realized I left his insulin syringes at home. Dan was anxious to help, but unfortunately, Walgreen's didn't stock the type of syringe needed for my cat's dosage. But, he didn't stop there. He made numerous calls to help find a resource that had the kind of needles we needed. When he finally found a local vet that had the product, he facilitated the transaction via the phone and gave me directions to the vet. When I got to the vet, they were all ready for me, and knew exactly what I needed, thanks to Dan's excellent communication . Dan saved the day!
