Its not much to look at and the place is in a rundown strip center but the food is good here. We ordered the Sesame Chicken along with their Crab Rangoon and the Chicken Egg Foo Young, with a side of fried rice. Each was made to order and prepared fresh. The sesame chicken was good, a nice portion of well seasoned chicken chunks in a tangy sauce and served on top of fried rice. It was more than enough to share. The Foo Young was just okay, a decent serving but it did not have the same flavor or consistency as what we were accustomed to? It was okay but really didn't work for us. The rangoon were also okay, a decent size serving of triangular fried puff pastries filled with a crab cream cheese mixture. These were pretty good, byt we have definitely had better. A traditional Chinese menu, with extensive offerings. Very reasonable price wise. 3.5 Stars rounded up for the extensive menu 01257

Ordered the broccoli in garlic sauce, spicy. Broccoli was over cooked and absolutely drenched in some sickly sweet sauce, just nasty. I was able to eat some of it but couldn't put much of a dent in it. Just bad. I will have more options tomorrow as I am here for a week on business. Won't be stopping here again.

I have been coming to Imperial Garden for over 30 years, and it has maintained a high standard of…read morequality Chinese cuisine (with some American touches) and friendly service over the years. Portions are very generous, and we usually have enough leftovers for a complete meal the next day. It can get crowded during peak times, so I highly recommend a reservation. Two stand-by Chinese starters, Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoon, are a great way to begin any meal. The Egg Rolls are big, crispy and full of flavor. The Crab Rangoon are the best I have had anywhere. These won-won wonders are tender with a silky-smooth Cream Cheese and Crab filing. Imperial Garden does all the basic Chinese Chicken dishes to perfection. The Hunan Chicken, is slightly spicy and stir-fried with a few vegetables in a savory sauce. My grandkids love the Sesame Chicken). These bite-size chunks of Chicken are coated with a thick, sticky, slightly sweet sauce and liberally coated with Sesame Seeds. Two other favorites are General Tso's Chicken - double fried and sautéed with fresh green peppers in spicy sauce and Empress Chicken - marinated chicken, lightly fried and sautéed with broccoli, baby corn, straw mushroom & water chestnuts. Peking Style dishes are another winner. Whether it's Shrimp. Pork, Beef or Chicken; these tender morsels are coated in a tempura-like slurry, stir-fried to perfection and smothered in your favorite sauce. I like the Sweet & Sour Pork version. It comes with a bit of Carrot, Water Chestnut, Bell Pepper and Onion; and is served with either White Rice or Fried rice. Throw in a lightly-hopped ice-cold Tsingtau, sit back, and savor the moment.

My partner had chicken lo mein and it was decent but little flavor. I had chicken fried rice which was inedible. The chicken bits looked like it was boiled and had were shiny chicken fat on it. It just looked wrong and tasted rubbery. I wasn't charged for this, which helped, but overall disappointed.
