I described a two faded into a 3 with a small (1.5 inch) disconnect blending the hair into the top (which I wanted about an inch off the top) The younger guy helping me was nice but when I started getting my hair cut he started blending all the way to the top of my head, no disconnect and the back is tapered far too short to the point where I feel as if I can't do much to style it now. When I was almost done the owner said "I'm just going to straighten it out for you" which to my interpretation meant "try and salvage this" I'm most likely going to have to buzz it and wait for it to grow back in.

I have been getting cuts now and then at Joels and never had an issue with his service until just recently when he posted on social media that he was open and taking reservations for hair cuts by calling in. I called and was told by the owner that I needed to come in to sign up and then wait in the parking lot for 3 hours as that was the current wait time ?! Long story short, to get mask shamed by one of his employees for not having a mask on while coming to use the community pen to sign up for something that could have been done over the phone is a bit over the top. I found another place that hasn't bought into the fear that the mainstream media has obviously instilled in this guy. Good luck!

Been going to the daily grind for a couple of years now and every time I walk out I'm in a better…read moremood than when I arrive. Sure I get a quality haircut, but it's the barbers' attitudes here that really make the difference. Every single one of them is a quality cutter but more importantly every one of them is friendly and have a welcoming vibe. Even when it's busy they never seem overwhelmed and take time to say hello and smile. I've seen them handle people with disabilities as well as alternative lifestyles and they welcome everyone here. I like that you can easily make your appointment online. Sadly, they had to add a step where you need a basic account to book because they had so many people no show on them. They are very reasonable if you need to cancel, even at the last minute, but so many chronic offenders were making business hard for them. Saw it after when I looked into the mirror closely at home. There was also a chunk of hair missing from the back of my head on what's supposed to be a v-fade. Again, he didn't tell me about this and I only found out at home. I can tolerate mistakes and accidents, since everyone makes them, but hiding them from your clients shows a lack of integrity.
