I was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the great interior of the coffee shop. There were pastries available for purchase that looked delicious. The drip coffee was flavorful and served just as it was ordered. Good luck to this next business in Kountze. I wish you much success.

Best Bites - Cool Down at Spoon It While out shopping with…read moremy grandkids on a typical hot Texas day, one of them asked for frozen yogurt. I told them, "I know just the place!" About a month ago, Spoon It opened its doors at 7515 Hwy 105 near Major Drive, and it's already become a favorite spot for a cool, creamy treat. Calling it "cute" is an understatement--it gives off real tropical vibes! The checkout counter and yogurt machine stations are designed like tiki huts, complete with bamboo and thatched roofs. It's festive, fun, and the perfect escape from the heat. Their variety of frozen yogurt is impressive, with about 12 different flavors to choose from--including two sugar-free options. One granddaughter chose a swirl of pistachio, cheesecake, and yellow cake batter yogurt, and topped it with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and pineapple. The other went with dreamsicle and cheesecake yogurt, finished off with little cheesecake squares for extra indulgence. And oh--did I mention their topping bar? It's vast! If you can think of it, they probably have it. As for me, I had a small serving of sugar-free strawberry yogurt topped with fresh strawberries. Light, refreshing, and absolutely delicious--I'd definitely order it again. With summer temperatures climbing, I encourage you to stop by Spoon It on Hwy 105. The yogurt is top-notch, the customer service is exceptional, and the vibe is just plain fun. Bring your kids or grandkids--they'll love it. Ladies, after your next girlfriend's luncheon, treat yourself to something sweet. Guys, take your date--she'll love it too. And when you go, be sure to tell them you saw it on Best Bites! BEST BITES AT TOASTED YOLK!…read more Today, hubby and I stopped by Toasted Yolk, and I finally decided to give their Avocado Toast a try--and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint! It starts with a grilled slice of artisan bread, and of course, I requested sourdough because that's my favorite! Then comes a generous amount of mashed avocado. And when I say they don't cheat you on the avocado... they REALLY don't! It's topped with fresh pico de gallo and two eggs. I asked for mine over easy, so that beautiful yolk could do what it does best! It was served with a fresh spring mix salad, but you can substitute the salad for something else if you prefer. Everything was delicious, and our waitress Harley was absolutely the BOMB! She was friendly, attentive, and made our visit even better. Great food + great service = a winning combination! One was her suggestion for my desired order of bacon, "Bacon done the way the owner likes is - SPOT ON! " Not entirely sure that I'd visit this location again, as I don't live in Texas....
