About a month ago, Spoon It opened its doors at 7515 Hwy 105 near Major Drive, and it's already become a favorite spot for a cool, creamy treat. Calling it "cute" is an understatement--it gives off real tropical vibes! The checkout counter and yogurt machine stations are designed like tiki huts, complete with bamboo and thatched roofs. It's festive, fun, and the perfect escape from the heat. Their variety of frozen yogurt is impressive, with about 12 different flavors to choose from--including two sugar-free options. One granddaughter chose a swirl of pistachio, cheesecake, and yellow cake batter yogurt, and topped it with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and pineapple. The other went with dreamsicle and cheesecake yogurt, finished off with little cheesecake squares for extra indulgence. And oh--did I mention their topping bar? It's vast! If you can think of it, they probably have it. As for me, I had a small serving of sugar-free strawberry yogurt topped with fresh strawberries. Light, refreshing, and absolutely delicious--I'd definitely order it again. With summer temperatures climbing, I encourage you to stop by Spoon It on Hwy 105. The fresada has fresh strawberries on top and inside of the ice cream, the walls of the cup are covered in condensed milk. It's refreshing and doesn't make you feel fat like regular ice cream. The mangonadas flavors all come together in one bite, the mango to chamoy ratio was perfect.

We where greeted by a nice older lady who was welcoming and answered all our questions. Let me just tell you we each got a cookie and man oh man they are worth it!! The cookies are cooked perfectly with the crispy edges and soft gooey center. The setting is cool because you get a Wonka type vibe which is awesome for willy wonka fans. I was able to get a loaded 8 ounce cup with my favorite toppings for about $4 and you can't beat that anywhere else. I also loved the fact that they have sauces such as marshmallow fluff, caramel, and chocolate sauce under a heater so that it easy to pour/squeeze onto your froyo. That is an attention to detail that I haven't seen at other froyo places! Overall, I encourage anyone visiting or from the SETX area to give Farmhouse Frozen Yogurt a try. The inside is a but small and can become crowded with children running around trying to get their yogurt.
