I have been going to this laundromat for maybe twenty years, beginning under the previous…read moremanagement and now under the new. I was always satisfied, but I am never going back. When I got there today, I found that they had new machines that cost much more than twice as much as the last time I was there. Since I was here, and had dragged the laundry in, I decided to do it anyway. I tried repeatedly during the process of loading in LOTS of quarters, to open the door. I assumed that it would open after I paid. I should have been more cautious. The machine ended up starting without the door ever opening. I found the attendant, but she did nothing but shake her head and say "sorry, sorry." When I asked what I was supposed to have done, she just kept doing the same. I suppose that since she works there they does know how they work, but I got nothing out of her, so I left more than $20.00 poorer and having accomplished nothing. An expensive lesson, but never again.
